Paul W.S. Anderson is a plague on the movie industry. Him and Uwe Boll have single-handedly destroyed the concept of video game movies. AVP was terrible, and Resident Evil was a complete joke. I'm unsure if you are being satirical or serious, because to say that Anderson is even a decent screenwriter would be pushing it, but greatest screenwriter of all time? You are outside your mind.

If people don't want James Cameron or Martin Scorsese films, then why are they both still making movies that destroy the box office. In the meantime, Anderson is making movies that constantly get trashed. Granted, he makes enough money to keep making movies so that must mean he has a fan base. But I'm pretty sure they're all developmentally challenged. His movies are boring and frustrating from beginning to end.

His writing is bland,mind numbing garbage.Cameron and Scorsese have done more for movies than Anderson could ever fucking fathom. Not only can he not make good material, but he manages to ruin the source material that would be VERY easy to use. He's given everything needed(characters/PLOT)and yet he manages to manifest it into his own shit vision of a "good" scifi movie that he thinks is "totally cool", not caring about the source material or its fans.

You didn't make up a genre. Mixing up genres has been around since writing has existed. Not to mention your opinions are that of a ten year old child. "I wanna see explosions."
