  • Not bad. You can play fast, and I appreciate what you're saying about using the amp's characteristics to suit your playing, but it's about the notes you play and don't, not necessarily how the sound. A lot of guitarists forget to 'breathe' when they're soloing as if they're on a wind instrument, and phrase their passages like Coltrane or Miles would have done. That's where true tone and feeling comes from.

  • Dude, sweet playing! Thanks for a cool vid. I'm gonna steal your licks! I'll bet if the Blues Nazi could he would too, but then he wouldn't have anything to bitch about.

  • musicians can be very jealous people, very sensitive! why do you think salieri killed Mozart! (not really he died from a fever for all you touchy musicians) i liked your playing great job!

  • who cares what other people say . they arent making the videos, theyre hating on them i thought it was good. faved

  • Thanks, I appreciate your kind words.

  • Mr. Speed Mouse himself !!!!!

Trying to win over the crowd by playing fast, really boring.

  • It is amazing to me how judgemental people can be about a 30 second clip. The purpose of this video was about the AMP. It has 75% less wiring, and as stated on the Two Rock site: " This amp is extremely dynamic, featuring a very fast response, incredible touch sensitivity". So what would I play to demonstrate this? Slow blues licks or fast fusion lines? If you watch my "Blues in C", you discover that I can play quite well without using my chops all the time.

  • Well, you are contradicting your self.

If you want to demonstrate the dynamic characterists of this amp, why not play dynamic??

  • I should know better than to get into an argument with a member of the "blues police". What part of "fast response" and "incredible touch sensitivity" do you not get? Please post some videos of yourself playing and show me how it's done.

  • Mr. 'Nevertoofast', I don't agree with your perception of dynamic playing and I don't agree with your statement, that you can 'never (be) too fast'. I think you ARE playing too fast, whereby you are putting your technical abilities in the spotlight and NOT dynamic playing OR your emotions OR the TwoRock amp, that you wanted to feature in first place. Sorry, but that how I feel. I hope you an use this feedback constructively.

    Yours faithfully

    The Blues Police ;-)

  • @Bluesfendermanblues Yeah. Not as fresh and innovative as the blues. Get over yourself, asshat.

  • @Bluesfendermanblues your username says it all. Let me guess:

    40+

    fat

vocabulary is limited to generic ass maj/min pent licks over "slow blues"?

    Am I close?

  • A great player never shows his full hand. You certainly have some accurate chops, but you may want to hold back a little.

  • man, you a great player. but right fromt he start you started shredding. dude, build up to something, and then do it at the end. the worst part was theat the backround music was a slow steady jazz song

  • NICE TONE!!! I amazed that it sounds this good even with the bad audio quality.

  • I loved your playing, but too much treble, may have been the mic.....

  • i wish i could fusion like that.

  • fantasticcc playing mann

  • exelent!

  • I like your ideas but you really should cut down a little on the treble. A smoother sound is much more pleasant to the ears.

  • I think some of that has to do with the cheap mic in the webcam. I'm going to get a hard disc recording system and then just use the webcam to record the video.
