i have this truck and the bumper from the savage x 4.6 tht u put on the front did you jus bolt it right on or did you have to customize it? i really need to know cuz i like the look and i want to put LEDs on it

@MrLukestowell23 i had to shave the mounts off just a little. when you get the bumper, the mounts where the screws go through look like bricks. you gotta shave it off like i did. i just used a dremel. its very sturdy. you have to squeeze the bumper sides together a little bit, but other than that, it fits right on.

when i got mine i put a 3.5 novak moter in it and its fast!!!! but im running a 5000nihms. what lipo should i get and should i get a baja bodie

@anwar866 i own slash and sc10 and drivin the blitz the slash is durable but has problems with the gearing sc10 racer but not durable and blitz is fast and a little more durable than sc10

I bet cutting the body like that gave you less traction from the air getting under the body so much. and think about how much dirt flys in there.

Why did you cut the body that way? Just a visual look you liked or is there a advantage to is ?

it does have some advantage. it keeps it cooler but it weakens the body! mainly for looks. :) thx

hey am planing to the same truck(BLITZ) , i got couple questions is that water or mud proof,and do get any glitches when water get thru your esc radio reciver?? and are gonna go brushless ??? -c

no its not waterproof, but its easy to do! yes it will glitch if you go through puddles. i will go brushless but idk with what quite yet!

the speed with a 6 cell is about 35-40 mph

How fast do you think the blitz is with all stock electronics and stock gearing? You need to switch the connectors to deans connectors!

hey 3rd comment sweet but i realy need to ask a few things...#1 i am kinda new this will be my 4th car and i have a old associated rc10t3 with a 20 turn lol... its stock and the lower turns=equal faster correct?(i do understand gearing so in a basic idea)..#2 do you recommend anything i buy when i get the blitz?...and last do you recommend a special battery type i know you run a 3300 mah but anything else non lipo.thanks

yes! lower turns is faster! At the moment i can recommend a different servo! really for the battery its a drivers choice kinda thing! im running a 3300mah NiHm because im sorta on a budget but a 4400 lipo seems to be a favorite!

thanks for the answer i do have 2 1800mah 7.2v ni-mh so im proly gonna go to hobby shop after xmas(im only 14 so thats when i get most my money lol)ill probly look at some 3300's and buy a couple and i dont like the idea of lipos lol
