3 years ago I would have agreed wholly with 44skins, now I'm not so sure. Some of my greatest inspirations in recent weeks have come from modern songs. I guess the Lord can use all music written with a sincere heart to draw people to him, whether written in 1011 or 2011. The purpose of all true worship songs is not to say "look at me" but "look at Him".

Why..WHY? Why cant "Praise & Worship" music be like this anymore? Now, it's almost a form of "pop music" and it just repulse's me!! I almost expect to hear and see someone singing it on "american idol"!

It repulses me too. Nothing different about the punk rock, and lewd style of music that passes for christian today and that of the world. Jesus said perilous times would come and the love of many would grow cold as we near His second coming. I believe we are seeing that.

Worship can be in all tongues...with different varieties of instruments...but instead...worship Him with all your heart...... focus on your faith instead... that it may not be swayed......
