I am so proud to be agnostic/atheist. God help us all if religious nut-cases take control of Europe again, as they did in the middle ages and inflicted so much pain and suffering on people. For every one of these so called "converts" there are many many more people (jn Europe at least) that have moved on from superstition. How long before people are forced, FORCED, to adhere to a religion in Europe again, when we fought so long and hard to stop this nonsense?

@titilade that's a good point and I think an appealing aspect of christianity. it is a personal relationship, without this reliance of showing off special head-gear, burning flags, attending prayers in public blah blah blah. it's like reverting to the playground and wearing the "right" style of trousers or being a member of some football club; if you wear the wrong coloured t-shirt you are fair game for a fight.

Quran also mentions 14:14 'even if we opened out to the gates from heavens, & they were to continue (all day) ascending (IN A CURVED LINE) therein
INFACT, it is the Bible that states the earth is a flat circle, not the quran.

if a sinner is truly regretful of their sins and asks for forgiveness from god then yes they will be let into heaven,and i agree that if you dont believe Jesus died for our sins than you will not be let into heaven.
you said it yourself that god is FAIR, so in my opinion it is only fair to let someone who is truly sorry and regretful of their sin and lets Jesus into their hearts into heaven.

It's sure, that the bad man will regret everything, because he doesn't want to go to hell, but it will be too late.
Imagine that:
If you hit your wife and kids daily and one day you killed them.
After they are dead, you will regret it and wish that this didn't happen. Do you really think, that any just would be so unfair and would say "OK, he doesn't go to prison because he regrette it"
