It's effing hard to believe Tatsh is doing remixes of Touhou songs o_O But it's even more bizarre when people are flipping out over it.
"OMG DON'T LET HIM DO KICKASS MUSIC WE DON'T LIEK THAT!!!" is basically all I can gain from reading posts by those fools.
The music is pretty awesome. It's a fact. As much as I would like to see more from him on DDR, this stuff just blows me away. Too bad Konami can't strike a deal with ZUN to make a Touhou DDR.
Although I'd appreciate that as well, we won't see anything from Tatsh any longer, I think. Didn't he quit from them a few years ago to work on music for Visual Novels?
Well, after looking through his list at VGMDB, I'd assume it's true. All his works after IIDX DisTorTeD diversify from his only known works such while he stayed at Konami, to visual novels I've never heard of, and Touhou. While he may or may not be with the company, some people speculate he may be Super STAR -Mitsuru-, but that's unconfirmed.
At least his latest IIDX work was credited [Xephia in DJ Troopers], so perhaps there's hope.
Well, thanks for the info o-o And I guess if he does work for visual novels, we're not all too likely to hear those, since, well...Japanese visual novels usually are not that popular here. The only ones I even know the name of are really popular ones made by the same company, Fate and Tsu-whatever...
And I doubt it, but they might have some freelance help once and a while...
