What a faker. At 3:29. i looked at this section for a couple of minutes, and i could not find anything that would have caused him to fall to the ground rolling and screaming in pain. What a lier. He jumped up and down on that leg after winning like a cheater. He deserves to be DQ'd! What a good for nothing loser. I would love to hit that guys knee(s) with a baseball bat. Then he would really be in pain.
I'd also like to point out that he made sure he scored that last backhand against Keinath right as he screamed so that Keinath would be distracted and not able to return his shot. This is just straight up unsportsman-like conduct. I am convinced that he was faking it. Why is he still stomping during service with his injured knee @4:08? You can even hear some of the audience laughing at how ridiculous Pistej was acting.
@quyenthenghiem haha its so true, Lubomir is faking as hell, as you can see during 3:27 he is screaming and holding his left leg during the ball, shows that his left leg is in pain, but he mess up his so called ''act'' during 3:43 where he's accidently holds his right leg because of pain, which means he's faking, that's why the audience laughs, and therefore... he's a total douche( no offence Lubomir), feel sorry for Keinath though...
Yeah right, after an injury to your knee, you come back and win three sets straight? That's also unfair because it might have caused Keinath to go easy on him because he was injured. Terrible.
That keinath is really something else. I always think, "What's he reachin' for with his left hand?" Then I realize there is nothing there. Maybe he continually has spiderweb on his hand and he's trying to shake it off. Maybe they should clear the cob-webs out of their facility before the tournament takes place. Or perhaps he should just wear a mitten on his left hand.
Maybe I've been watching too much Ma Long and other Chinese play, but it seems these two don't have good footwork (at the pro level, of course). Also, if a player get injured and he can't come back within a minute or two, he has to forfeit, right? How come this guy can get treated and continue playing?
Keinarth has possibly the most horrid looking technique in all of table tennis! I`ve seen local league grandads with nice looking shots! In terms of the "injury", Pistej got up and played on! If the injury was that bad that he had to scream and fall to the fall rolling into barriers, then I`m fairly sure a professional would pull out. I was expecting him to be carried off with ligament damage by the way he screamed!! Low and behold he was up within seconds bounding round the court!
@Polska001 haha i love it joe!! i compare watching thomas keinath to the delights english gp goers get to see when Helmuth 'the hitman' Osborne steps onto the court!!
Looks like he might've had a small sprain or tweaked it. You could tell he wasn't faking it, his footwork definitely faltered after the injury.
Might've been a mental thing for the other guy when he started realizing that an injured player had a chance to come back and then take him out. Could also be that the injury changed the pace of his game and his shot placement, causing the other guy a bit of confusion.
The bouncing technique Thomas seemed help him in getting the shorts back in-spite of his stiff moves.
