Thanks for posting this great Bruce Springsteen classic. The sheet music for Roy Bittan's wonderful piano part on "Born To Run" can be found at manymidi.com/sheetmusic.htm - a note-for-note transcription.
On this, they've got the Bass player (whose name escapes me, but I've got the name GAry Tallent in my head...)Nils Lofgren, Stevie, Patti, Bruce ans it looks like they've got Soozie playing guitar on this as well! so... 6! Oh well, that's about half as many as are on the record, then!
what an awesome night that was. bruce and the e street band rocked it hard. didn't matter where you were sitting, everyone in the crowd was having such a great time and singing along to every song-especially this one. if you weren't standing before, you were standing now. BRUUUCE!!!
P.S. I think what made it so especially great was the crowd. I think some desperation is beginning to seep in that the band and we are getting older and you never know how many more moments like this we'll get the chance at. So let all hang out like it's the last time. And we did. :)
I totally agree with you!!! I just saw them at the Xcel Center in St. Paul 11-2-07. I looked at the crowd and most of them were my age (early 40's) or older and the ones that were younger were accompanied by their parents. I don't want to get old if it means I can't "ROCK OUT"!! I may be advancing in years but I WILL NEVER GET OLD!!!
I'm forteen and I quhed (spelling?) for my own tickets in stockholm and there was a lot young of people there, and on the concert I saw loads of young people.

I was there. I've seen him 10 times. I don't know what it was, but this might have been the best one I've ever seen.
