Broncos throwbacks brown and yellow? Woah. My school colors were yellow and brown and I hated it. But the broncos uniforms from the 80s and 90s were on point, with the blue and orange, orange "D" on the helmets. And I don't know how people from houston feel about this, but I feel like what happened in Houston should stay in Houston and the Tennessee Titans should have throwback Titans uniforms, not Houston Oilers uniforms from 1960.

I will always associate the ugly brown and yellow uniforms with Kyle Orton and Josh McDaniels now. I hope we never decide to wear them again. I am not really a fan of all the uniform swiching that goes on these days. Its not just original AFL teams. Some teams have "3rd" uniforms, that always seem to be Black for some reason.

I hated our new Unis back in 97 until we won the SB with them (the same year) while made them a little better in my eyes.

I liked the way the Bronco players twisted the socks. In a kinky way those brown unis looked cool. BTW, the orange helmet with the big head bucking bronc is the best Bronco uni. Can't say I like the newest one.

this is what i dont understand they picked and choose certain years from the AFL. the raiders wore gold and black in 1960 with a black helmet! the bills were silver and blue like the lions! the patriots had a rebel hat with numbers under it on the helmet in 1960!

My wife and brother-in-law are both Denver natives, and thus...HUGE Broncos fans. Now the socks, I understand...but I keep telling my wife that I actually dig the yellow uniforms. I don't know why...I just like them. But I'm a fan of a team that has made little to no changes to their uniforms since their inception. The Colts. And that's because their uniforms are simple, classy, and they just look good. No need to change them.

The Raider "throwbacks" are not from 1960. In 1960 the Raiders wore black helmets without a stripe or logo, black jerseys with curved white numbers trimmed with yellow-gold, and white pants with black and yellow-gold seams. This was "pre-Al Davis".

Huge Raider fan here brother, and while one of the attractions to me has always been the no frills Silver and black, the original uniform had Gold stripes on the socks and sleeves and I think the belt. It was tacky. Google Jim Otto rookie card, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Well the ROAD uni used to have silver numerals, not they are black. During the 75th season in '94, the Raiders wore those unis in Denver while the Broncos had those red jerseys with the white shoulder stripe. Those would look a LOT better than the ones they are trotting out this year...but still cool to see the throwbacks nonetheless

The Jets throwbacks are their 1960-1962 New York Titans outfits. If you want to see Denver in other throwbacks, how about the ones that wore in 1962 with the orange jerseys and helmets. That one had three white stripe pipings on the jersey and on the white jerseys, three blue stripe pipings. Their pants were white with a blue/orange/blue piping. The ones we say in 1994 was a combo of the 1962 helmets and the 1965 jerseys and pants. I rather see their 1962 look instead.

Continue: I forgot to add, that on the white 1962 jerseys, Denver wore blue numbers on their white jerseys. White numbers on the orange. Their 1962 jerseys looked like the 49ers jerseys dyed in orange. As for Oakland, have you ever seen their 1960-1962 uniforms. They were cool, but didn't need that gold. I wish it was black and white before the silver was added, but GOLD!!! This is why the 49ers had silver helmets in 1962. I thought the Raider's 1960-1962 look was alright without the gold in it.
