Hello I was wondering if you could tell me where those articles on the crisis of Chinese art criticism were published online? im having some difficulty in finding information and would love to know more!
You read a long article about Art Criticism in China Today. There are so many noises on this subject recently. What are the roles and responsibility of art dealers, art collectors, and art curators?
Life is art and art is life, not count on the value ... ^^~~
It was a superb piece written by the Chinese I am led to believe.
I have left it pretty much as was, cutting out parts to comply with ten minutes.
I am keen to learn and am a novice. But my enthusiasm doesnt stop me from listening to the roots of Chinese Art nor does it find a lacking of professional Art Critics disturbing, rather, personally, I'd rather everyone was left to decide for themselves.
WHY does anyone need to be told how they should respond to ANY art.
I agree. Its great to hear someone making references to works and artists that , more than likely Ive never even heard of and, like listening to someone as a master of, say, the Violin, I can listen for ages.
Wether I understand the music or not, the same is true of any master of any field. With ths comes the due respect for someone who has dedicated their existence to that particular field.
However, as I think this piece describes, corruption tries to financially influence. Thats wrong.

A great range of images - some beautiful paintings - and interesting insight. Thank you.

Art, or rather its effect, is certainly subjective. I do like to listen to people who know their stuff though!
