When you say that this product runs through my EXISTING data plan, what does that mean? I have a Blackberry Bold with Verizon, and Verizon charges $20/month for tethering. Does this product allow you to do it for FREE with just my existing unlimited data plan that I have with Verizon? And what if Verizon sees that I've been tethering with a third party software? Won't I be charged?
i have unlimited talk text and web on cell phone through vz they seell fake dream tether and lie to u to tether is not 1 time fee 50 dollars each cell provider charges fee monthly vz charges 30$ for 5 gig month all other companies charge diff but not free i have unlimited everything but tether is not included in there dont b a fool investigate full first if to good to b true it ususally is and this is false advertisement want money hope u dnt try to get refund that there scam tell others
@onijordan u pay more all cell companies charge more the tether site lies even talk live with agent they lie to u then u confront them then they still try lie say ur curent companie only one does that when they all do that in order to find out truth ask cell company not some 3rd party person they want money nothing else they tell u anything false advertisement i fed up with the lies spread the word tell every one i nvr paid for anything i checcked thouroughly 1st not every 1 that lucky bye
I'm using Tether now, and it's faster than the wireless airtime card I got from ATT a few years back. Streaming video was out of the question with the ATT card. I paid $60.00 every month for the thing too. I'm using Boost Mobile with my Blackberry Curve, and BM's network is slow. I want to go over to US Cellular's network. I don't know how Tether handles video uploads and downloads yet.
@rocmon Desktop Manager doesn't work for all carriers or for all phones. Also our product runs through your existing data plan. Some carriers charge for using Desktop Manager. For example here in Canada, Bell charges $8 per MB. So if you consumed 1 GB of tethered data you would be charged $8,192.
@Tethercom bell does not charge for tethering on my iPhone. that's what they told me.
still (if) they do not charge for the iphone, y would they charge for the blackberry???
PS: u r overcharging for this software. at least if it could do something that DesktopManager could not do (like MyWi on the iPhone, allowing wifi tether, which iTunes cannot do), it would be worth it. but this is just outrageous.
@jmans25 it cost more u think talk to cell provider tether will lie through there teath tell u 50 dollars no more damn liars i going to make video of talking to teather live support asking about servive and if free no additional cost then confront them at end tell them i making a utube video of this chat and post it on ututbe probally get billion hits and then the company will have no choice to post on there that there is additional fees maybe it even end up on news
Anyone can simply call their provider, mention they have a BB and want a data plan, get thier Telco's version of DM and voila, you can tether using the DM and a USB cable.
Does it work with the motorola photon?

Can someone tell me why I would want to spend $50 for something that is free using Desktop Manager?
...and how much credibility can crackberry and various other spammers have flogging this superfluous software?

@jayman5002002 Lol day shld end up in jail
I will refuse to pay if they did that. Just like I did when they added fling 500 ch to my TV and and charged me plus 500 bucks
Lucky I use MyWi lol!
And as for BB they shld be free backdoors to tether anyways instead of purchasing a 50 buck app!
(no ad intended) I herd pdanet does if for free but I not sure (lol all these companies hide smthing that's wat I hate abt companies lol)
