The implant isnt on till 2-6 weeks after the surgery. After that time they set it too whatever the child needs. The base that off the childs ABR. Also as there putting it through the hole onto the cochplea (sp) it coils just like the cochplea.

so does the electrode just band on its own when inserted through into the cochlear?
