If you have footage that you think you perhaps can't do anything with bc they knocked Byberry down have you tried Pennhurst, Pennypack Park, the Potters Field Cemetery at the edge of Parkwood, (that Byberry did actually use for patients who died when no one, like a family member, would claim the body), etc. Plus there is a doc called "Final Asylum: The Closing of Philadelphia State Hospital", and if you can find it you may be able to use footage from that as well.

my brother and his friend went there. My brother sat in a tub...and stole the virgin marys hand from a statue.....he said he would take me some day.....guess i cant now.
The sad news is its gone now. From what i heard back in 01, the plans for its demolition were not to start until 2008, but i think they jumped the gun. Check out my compilation. I wanted to visit myself one day, but i guess that wont happen now.
