@Isakuma I agree completely. I haven't played BF3, but played MW and MW2, and when I started watching this I was sure it was MW 3 and I had check the video title again. As far as presentation they look pretty similar, though bullets are animated better than in MW. There is little strategy at all in this clip, dude runs around shooting people who clearly can't defend themselves, and then stands behind a locker,reloads, and repeats. If standing by a locker reloading is strategy, COD has that too.

DICE have always said in interviews that Battlefield has always and will always be an arcade style shooter where balance and fun come before realism.

Sure the stuff in the game is real, but that doesn't mean they're attempting to create a simulator. Destructible environments and tanks are essentially fancy easter eggs and selling points. The destructible debris isn't even that destructible.

That's why every soldier comes equipped with a parachute, whose sprinting isn't impaired by a 20lb gun compared to a 5lb gun, who can be healed by a bag lying on the ground, can be resurrected from a bullet in the head using electricity, can restore any vehicle regardless of the damage by pressing a gun against it and wields a flashlight bright enough to simulate the sun.
