I think it's weird how even backwards, this song still talks about a fucked-up relationship. This is definatly talking about her cheating and him killing himself. The whole "any two lives next to yours" and "forgive the girl" "turn her to the lord" means that one should forgive her for cheating, and "first half" probably means the first half of the two lives next to yours, the guy, "hastily makes them" "vaguely snapped" "swallows tomorrow's toxins" which describe his feelings when she cheated.
