  • Praise God. There are still those who truly believe and are looking for the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What a day that will. I won't be missing it. How about you?

  • It is gospel singing at its best. Indeed glorious, wonderful.

  • @TinaMarie5121 Thanks!

  • So glad I found this on YouTube... it brings me back to our church when Squire would come to our conferences and sing this awesome song. Never fails to move my heart and bring out a longing to see that wonderful land that our Savior has prepared for us.

  • This is about one of my most favorite songs ever! I love it!

  • @cmevans4446 Thanks!

  • America is Beulah Land, and the Northern European Bible followers are Hephzibah

  • @SPUD1880 Thanks, and Amen!

  • Some day.....some day all of our troubles we have in this world will all be gone, and it'll be worth it all just to be able to spend eternity in Heaven. No more sorrow, or pain. No more worries. No more tears. Everything will be ok then.

  • Beulah Land yes our final home

  • This hymn of Parsons has to be one of the best in the last century---and I've heard no performance of it to equal his. Thanks You Tube for being a forum for such music.

  • @painter790 I agree. A perfect way of crying for home. Squire Parsons vocals are of heavenly origins...definitely anointed...always.

  • I got tow wondering just what the Land of Beulah means and looked it up. Thank you for this post.. King James Bible, Isaiah 62:4

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. Thank you Brother Arvyn, made me grab my bible, what a wonderful Savior we serve. Gary

  • Squire has written some of the most beautiful, heart-warming, and soul stirring songs to ever be recorded in Southern Gospel, this being one of them and "The Broken Rose" being another. The man is truly blessed and anointed by God and it shows in his songs.

  • Verse 1 I'm kind of homesick for a country To which I've never been before. No sad goodbyes will there be spoken for time won't matter anymore. Chorus: Beulah Land, I'm longing for you and some day on thee I'll stand. There my home shall be eternal. Beulah Land -- Sweet Beulah Land Verse 2 I'm looking now across the river where my faith will end in sight. There's just a few more days to labor. Then I will take my heavenly flight.
