The more we fund education the higher the prices will be. Universities set tuition prices by how much student aid they think students will receive. The more aid, the higher the tuition. It;s really counter productive and all its doing is making the rich get richer.
@capnfooDRIVEin "The more we fund education the higher the prices will be"
That doesn't make any sense, no one in this country has to pay for K-12 education except through taxes. Most colleges are private, so no one is funding them unless they are attending them.
some people has to much money for are nation to be like this one guy got 39B and some body is taking us down with out even going to war with us it feel like our own govrenment is aginst us what are we to do
As usual I want Ron Paul to be in charge of foreign policy and work on an oversight committee against corruption. However, I want to stay the hell away from domestic issue and social structures.
Over the top Libertarian ideals can only result in our own doom. Since capitalism itself is full of opportunities for corruption, and the less regulation we have over fairness, the more inequality will result.
@Neosaigo that is way we need to be socalist and not just give money out to anyone that want it but make people put money back in to the nation and make jobs if it is just paying people work picking up trash
The reason we are in a financial mess is because of government. Not capitalism. Corporations get in bed with government and use it to get special deals. That's not capitalism. That's corporatism. Libertarian ideals are about stopping those special deals between corporations and government and limiting the government to it;s constitutional levels so they can't make these special deals with big business.
@ronpauliswinning "Did you forget about the Federal Reserve? "--No, why?
"This man is talking about REAL problems"--I was talking about the US and global economy. Are they not experiencing problems?
"and all you can think about is how people "idolize" him? "--By virtue of the fact that that was only a part of my comment, it is plain to see that is not all I think about.
Please, if you support Ron Paul, try explaining why instead of saying 'NO U R ST00PID LOLZ'
@ronpauliswinning Your username and blatant ad hominem arguments clearly indicate an unhealthy degree of idol worship on your part. I suppose it is easier to have blind faith in one man in the hope he is a national panacea, much like religious faith, than it is to objectively evaluate their merits. Economic 'freedom', or rather, lack of accountability, is what got the US and the world into this mess in the first place.
I completely agree with Paul's anti-war stance, but I cannot support his Austrian economic theories - the 'free market' theory, which has never been tried, as they say. I would argue, they came pretty darn close, thanks to de-regulation of the entire financial sector, which the Austrians support. In fact, the entire globalization project was based on this assumption. And where has it gotten us? More poverty world-wide, that's where. The Austrian school makes the assumption that everyone>>>
@55ella2007k >>>(continued 2)>>makes the assumption, that everybody on the planet is already on a level playing field, and if only individual people acted in their self-interest, not consciously hurting others, then all will be fine. The reality is, that there no equal playing field, there never has been, and never will be. This idea is as utopian and misguided as Marxism, which like Capitalism, went beserk, once it became centralized. Same goes for capitalism, now centralized in few hands.
@55ella2007k Uhhh.. The government has been permeated by Keynesian economic thinking for the last 80 years.
Austrian economists haven't had their way, there hasn't been a free market. It is therefore illogical to blame the free market for problems that arise in a managed market.
Im impressed by ron paul articulate manner. Very intelligent smart man. Knows exactly how to react when a news anchor decides to fuck with him. Ron Paul 2012!
Ron Paul as president! Peter Schiff as Treasury security and Judge Napolitano as Supreme Court Justice. If these three were elected. We would be back on our feet in 2 years! Maybe more but damn it would be nice!
@pizzanbeer11 - just spelled incorectly, Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, ideals, thoughts, feelings, qualities, or standards that one does not actually have. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie
@clownporn1 Calling Ron Paul a hypocrite is absurd. He's the most consistent, principled man in DC.
Judging by your trollish posting style, you're either attacking him because you're a scumbag who fantasizes about Mao and Stalin, or because you're secretly a Paul supporter trying to make his opposition look stupid.
If you wanted to go the legal way then Ron would need to move much closer to the centre for some of his extreme policies. Moving to the centre, becoming more moderate, worked well for our Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who still occasionally throws red meat to social conservatives during his private speeches. But in public, he only speaks in a moderate tone for policies and such.
Basically, I am saying that Ron Paul is a great ideologue but crappy politician.
@Rsd79 Freeing up the market with ZERO percent income taxes is as moderate as he needs to be. He repeatedly calls out the crony capitalism/Corporatism that keeps the wealth among banks, Wall Street, and special interest with the government picking winners. He's not a politician per se. He's a revolutionary, strict Constitutionalist. The world is bent on seeing the demise of America, so it needs to fall back. If our monetary malpractice hurts the world economy, we need to get our house in order.
@thenewmike2012 Actually, if he were President, we would have had Bin Laden alot sooner than we did. Especially considering there is actual video of this man stating he believed Bin Laden was in Pakistan several years ago & no one listened to him. That, & the fact Paul actually voted for going after Bin Laden.
Your statement, sorry to say, is without substance.
@krazyknva78 Here is some "substance" for you. GW Bush basically gave up on looking for Bin Laden after Saddam was killed. Then SENATOR Obama said he would "take the shot" on Bin Laden no matter where in the world he was. Soon after Obama killed Bin Laden, Dr. Paul came out in protest and said that going into Pakistan and killing Bin Laden was ILLEGAL. Dr. Paul actually said Obama shouldve asked Pakistan for PERMISSION! Really Dr. Paul?! Ask the people that were hidding Bin Laden for permission?
@pizzanbeer11 Look at The Presidents efforts on national security (just this year alone) heres what hes got done. Killed /captured or removed the following threasts: Bin Laden, Anwar Al- Awlaki (al Qaeda) and 3 dictators, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali,(tonesha) Hosni Mubarak (Egypt), and now Moammar Gadhafi. (lybia) All this just this year! when Bush couldn’t find Bin Laden after 7 years. You almost sound as if you would prefer Obama had not killed Bin Laden or taken any of these actions.
@pizzanbeer11 Thats the problem with the Dr. Paul argument. Dr. Paul CANT run for President today by stating what he wouldve done in the past. We MUST deal with the real world we live in presently. When I listen to Dr. Paul, he invariably goes back in time 40,50, 60 yrs into the past. The fact that Dr. Paul voted for the hunt on Bin Laden and then criticizes The President for getting the job done, hurts his credibility & makes him look partisan.
@thenewmike2012 It's never too late to stop the warmongering. Bringing the troops home would be a gigantic plus for America, and the world.
His disagreement with the Bin Laden kill is how it was done, it had nothing to do with partisanship. He said(and I agree), that it would of been better to capture him and put him on trial, like the Nazi war criminals.
@pizzanbeer11 Put Bin Laden on trial?? The animal that sent videos all around the world bragging about killing thousands on American on 9/11? Id LOVE to see you go to ground 0 in NYC, with a cam, mega phone, stand there and say "Bin Ladens death was a crime, he deserved a fair trial". Id love to see how fast you get your ass kicked by NYPD, NYFD, the families of the victims and every NY citizen. I hope youre starting to see why Dr. Paul can never be elected President. He doesnt have the balls.
@pizzanbeer11 LOL...go ahead and run from the debate. You dont have an answer to my question on why Bin Laden deserved a public tirlal as Dr. Paul suggested and I knew you didnt.
@pizzanbeer11 OK, "Appeal to emotion is not a valid argument". Thats YOUR response to my question on why Bin Laden should get a "fair & balanced " trial here in America, after bragging to the WORLD that he pulled off a plan to kill thousands of innocent Americans, at the Americans tax payer expense. Im sorry, but Dr. Paul is a joke of a Presidential candidate, hes polling at -10%, and you are a joke for supporting him.
@pizzanbeer11 Here you go again, going back in time instead of dealing with the PRESENT world situation. What do mass murders in Europe have to do with our current President Obama keeping us safe? The President has only been in office for 3 yrs. President Obama has done more in 3 yys to keep Americans safe that GW Bush AND Bill Clinton did in their combinded 16 yrs.
@pizzanbeer11 Im not changing the subject at all. Why do you continue to suggest that Bin Laden was due a fair trial? Bin Laden BRAGGED about killing thousands of innocent Ameicans on 9/11, so what would a trial accomplish other than a death sentence @ the expense of the American people? Why are you not understanding this?!
@thenewmike2012 bin laden did not brag about anything......in fact he denied any involvement at all. If you are referring to the fake video the cia etc put out, then you are incorrect.
@getagripcanada So you believe that al Queda, lead by Bin Laden, had nothing to do with the al Queda terrorist attacks on innocent Americans on 9/11? You dont believe that the videos that Bin Laden, which were sent out world wide claiming responsibility, are legit? You think the CIA made up the Bin Laden videos?
@thenewmike2012 the only video showing a fat bin laden, who doesn't even look like him, claiming responsibility for the attacks, was fake. Fake as in not real. Made up. Hoax. Illusion. Whatever you want to call it, its still fake. Whether they had a tiny role in the attacks, I don't know. Probably as patsies or a distraction at most. Its pretty clear to anyone with even a tiny bit of common sense that the entire thing was staged and not part of any real "terrorist" agenda.
@getagripcanada So let me get this straight, you support Dr. Paul for President, and you dont think Bin Laden was responisble for 9/11. Am I getting you right?
@thenewmike2012 I don't support anyone for president........all candidates are puppets, including mason Ron Paul. He just makes it sound better. Bin laden was created by the CIA, funded and trained by the CIA and used as a distraction to further the agenda of endless wars for profit, oil theft, land theft, money theft, population reduction and ultimately one world government which is still in the works.
@getagripcanada The interesting part fo your last comment is that you are 100% correct...you just have the Name wrong. It was not Bin Laden that was put into power by the USA...it was Saddam.
@thenewmike2012 bin laden and his family were business partners with the Bush family and still are. When Senior Bush was head of the CIA, he was able to funnel money and training to bin laden etc. when they were fighting the soviets in Afghanistan and continued when he became president...oops I meant vice president under reagan. Then bin laden and his buddies were used in serbia during clinton's reign as puppet supreme. All funded by the good ol USA.
@getagripcanada You sound like you are defending the animal that killed 3,000 innocent Americans not to mentions the millions of other world wide when you deny that Bin Laden bragged about his killings of inncent people.
@thenewmike2012 and you sound like you cannot read. Or you sound like you are a paid shill sent here to derail any conversations. Either way our conversation is now finished.
@getagripcanada Look Friend, YOU messaged me first, remember? Im not here to dissuade anyone from voting for Dr. Paul or encourage anyone to vote for our President. Im just posting my opinions & debating with intelligent people that agree or disagree with me on certain points. Your last comment said that I may not know how to read, so you dont want to chat anymore. Thats fine, But at some point you and others MUST wake up and see that Dr. Paul will NEVER be President .
@thenewmike2012 of course Ron Paul will never be president. It would never be allowed by the powers that be. He is just window dressing used to convince the people they have choice, when in fact they have none. In fact I wouldn't doubt he dies before the election just to stir things up a bit. Obama will win again, but probably with Hitlery Klinton as VP, not Biden.
@getagripcanada Youre wrong about Bin Laden not sending out vids claming responsibllity for 9/11. Im sure you can find it here on YT if you really wanted to. For most of my adult life, (im 37), I always said that the best people to be President would never run for the office. That changed when Obama won. I agree that Obama will win again unless somone new jumps into the race very late
@thenewmike2012 I have a tendency to argue with idiots and I keep telling myself to stop, then I forget and start doing it again. Just realized. So sorry about that. Have a nice day.
@pizzanbeer11 I dont mind you calling me names, I actually expect that from people like you. Calling people idiots simply means that you have run out of intelligent conversation to support your position, so what else do you have other than name calling. You call me an idiot, the GOP call Obama a socialist and war mongering class war promoter.Calling names is what the GOP do best when asked to answer facts. So you dont offend me at all. Good luck in 2012.
@pizzanbeer11 Also, think about what youre saying...it would the ultimate example of adding insult to injury to ask the struggling American public to PAY for a trial to defend the animal that bragged about killing thousands of Americans on 9/11. Bin Laden got EXACTLY what he deserved the way he deserved it. Being shot down like the wild, crazed animal he truely is.
@thenewmike2012 Not exactly. Paul's right about how we conducted the operation being against international law. Considering the amount of foreign aid we give them, why wouldn't we confront Pakistan about hiding Bin Laden first? What he was suggesting was giving Pakistan the chance to come clean & do the right thing first before taking matters into our own hands. If they did, we'd have Bin Laden with Pakistan's help. If not, we'd have him with the international community's blessing.
ron paul is a idiot the only thing he has gonig for him is legalization the rest of what he talks about will cost the low income people two times as much to live don't forget let him die if you can't offord ins he wants to take us back to the old west every man for themself and for you that think you do everything on your own you need to think about that a littie harder
@alph1371 And what do you think is going to happen when the inevitable dollar collapse occurs? Government will come save you? Your the idiot, you need to go reason some books on the federal reserve such as "corporate money vs us currency: the Aldrich report". It's people like you, plugged into the Matrix that are going to be the ones that suffer when that happens. Ron Paul wants to prevent the "wild west" outcome, which WILL happen when the federal reserve succeeds in destroying the dollar.
Ron Paul is a fucking retard that doesn't even believe in evolution. He also doesn't believe in gay rights or women's rights. Ron Paul is only qualified to scrub toilets at Burger King.
Gary Johnson is the best presidential candidate for the american people. He has the most logical and ethical economic solutions for this nation as a whole. I ask that you at least research him, and if you do not, if I did know you, I'd have to ask, why are you voting when you do not have all the facts? Why vote only for your own sake instead of for the sake of our nation . Take some time and read, and see what else is out there? besides what the media tells you
Question for Ron Paul supporters: Why hasn't he set forth a bill for impeachment of Obama for the criminal activity he suggest he has done? If your answer is along the lines of one man can't do it by himself, what good is electing him to the office of the president, if he has no backers?
Electing Ron Paul president will send a big message to the rest of the world that we are sick and tired of the BS we've been fed the last 30-40 years from both parties. Get real man.
@TheDolfingurl Same tune people sang about Obama. "Change we can believe in" Only a fool, makes the same mistake twice. Get real man! nd why hasn't anyone that replied to my question address it. I am not in the market for a shuffle, thanks.
@TheTinCanHitMan Nope, they have both "raised the question" but to date that's it. Good news attracting headlines, but no actions. Sound politically familiar?
@wyknot100 Its difficult to impeach a president more than any other elected official. Look historically how many presidents have actually been officially impeached and kicked out of office. The reason Obama gets away with more is because we are in a WAR against "TERROR" which grants him power almost on par with a president with the country under marshal law. The key tho is the war on terror isnt against a nation but a group of people in multiple lands which means near infinite time!
@wyknot100 Its hard to explain because if our govt worked logically half the mess we are in wouldnt occur. Obama has alot of backing by the private sector think about all he has done to protect them in his presidency alone extend wars, tarp, more regulations to stifle the capabilities of small business, etc. Also its easier to to impeach when the public is against them, In polls half of voters disapprove of Obama, unfortunately half isnt enough to bring him down maybe if it were 75% or 80%.
@DidYouJustMakeThatUp Our ''socialized'' health care costs half as much per person and covers 99% of the expenses for 100% of the population. Our debt in relation to our GDP is about 3x better than yours. Our most recent unemployment rates have us polled at around 6.8% while you guys are at about 10%. So yeah, were soo much worse off up here. If only we had the free market to save us *roll eyes*
@88relient Those are very nearly the *only* two words you cultists ever have.
*chortle*
It is absolutely fucking risible that you libertarians fancy yourselves maverick free thinkers when in fact, like the "rebel" who dies his hair green, you're just thoughtlessly conforming to a different standard.
@88relient "Enjoy the mainstream corporatism cult you so wilfully accept."
It's Libertarianism or corporatism? Is that really what you mean to imply (assert)?
Of all the false dichotomies it's possible to express with the constrction of an English sentence, that is quite possibly the very stupidest any combination or Roman characters will allow in a political context.
Christ you libertarians are simplistic. Robert Nozick is about as sharp as you guys ever get, and he was still a jackass.
..."very stupidest"...and you use Roman Characters...oh dear.
I never claimed to be a libertarian. He's the best candidate, in my view.
Wait, you've made this claim and don't say why. Hmmm. I call troll?
You have this misnomer that Corporatism and Libertarianism are two mutually exclusive things, however they are most definitely linked. I'm not saying the libertarianism is a guaranteed way out of the mess, nor would I ever say that an ideology is flawless.
@88relient You're suggesting "very stupidest" is an error? Try again. I'll help you: "constrction" was a misspelling; exploit it to the full. ( Your use of "misnomer was, ironically, a solecism.)
You'll notice I included the qualification "Is that really what you meant to imply?" . This was in response to your sentence "Enjoy the mainstream corporatism you so willfully accept". You're Implying *I* assume too much on the part of my interlocutor's statements?
It has nothing to do with your literacy. It's your use of subjective language. I don't care if you misspell anything. I know it's not intended.
As you've pick and chose what you want to respond to, rather than deal with the issue at hand, I'm going to have to call troll here. You can take your intellect and put it to better use. Perhaps some anger management if you are not indeed an intellectual troll.
Your use of obfuscating language is unfortunately not impressive.
@polymath7 Actually its about freedom vs tyranny. The more the pendulum swings to the side of socialism, the more government force must be applied. The more power a government receives to use force against its people the more tyrannical it becomes. Libertarians arent against corporations, were against the government giving spec. priviliags and bailouts, and government interference in general. And by the way most Libertarians are well educated, but you don't need a high IQ to understand freedom.
@DidYouJustMakeThatUp Are you seriously saying Canadas job situation is worse than the Americans? Practically no-ones job situation is worse than the Americans right now. (of course by no-one I mean in the first world).
Ron Paul doesn't accept the Fact of evolution, global warming and the separation of church and state! That is why he will never get my vote. Plain and simple he is a Theocrat. He does have good stances on foreign policy as far as our military.
@FixedByDoc You might be right mate, but he will stand up to them. He has been for 30 years. If they block him it will expose the real (shadow) govt that has been in place for years. This will wake up the rest of the nation and most of the world to the evil cabal that has been running the show for decades.
@AustralianAllTheWay i doubt he will even make it to be president either by assasination or accidental death i think they call it these days. if he did get the votes to actually win the elite would just manipulate the machines we use to count the votes to go which ever way they wanted them to. it has been done before butthey got caught. i think it was not their first attempt or last. if he some how makes it then i will support him if he does his best to keep his promises.
Yeah... fuck subsidizing student expenses. We're doing so much better than those posh European countries and their socialist, fascist communist methods of paying for education. So what if on average they're much more intelligent, at-least we're free... U.S.A U.S.A U.S.A!
@RedSkiesAwaitUs Complete rubbish. The US farmer sits in his air conditioned harvester, watching a DVD whilst he harvests his crops as opposed to driving a horse and cart, and you have the audacity to state the Europeans are more intelligent than Americans!!! Furthermore, if you consider the STANDARD of education offered by a gov't to that of a private establishment, it is obvious that the gov't FAILS miserably. That is why politicians use private education for their kids. Bravo Mr Paul.
@RebelRadius Yes because western Europe has yet to invent farming equipment... *rolls eyes*. European education is cheaper and it is better.. Why? Because it exists to educate and not to make a profit. If you're going to spew rhetoric, at-least try to make sure it's factual...
@RebelRadius Do you even know what the hell you're asking me? If you don't want to be taxed, you are in fact *perfectly free* to offer your labour directly in exchange for goods and services.
But if you want to participate in a currency system, what the hell is money if it isn't backed by some institution? How does this institution function without a budget?
@MrMnmn911 Lol, who needs tens of thousands of dollars in loans if tuition is a 1000$? Canada tuition is A FRACTION of US universities and their quality is the practically the SAME! Why? Because the universities are allowed to increase their tuition to any amount they would like.

Why vote only for your own sake instead of for the sake of our nation and the greater good? Take some time and read, and see what else is out there? besides what the media tells you
Ron Paul is brilliant! If the Republicans nominate anyone else, I'll be voting 3rd party and preparing my family for America's collapse. The news anchor in this clip is totally ignorant of the US CONSTITUTION and the STRICT LIMITS it places on the Federal Government.
MOXy what happened to this video? Seems like it was cut early. We don't see your normal moxnews screen at the end, and the quote in the headline isn't even in the video.
@xaphoo1971 Sad but true. Even here in Canada i was talking too a University student about how the federal reserve is private. I gave him the interview of Alan Greenspan admitting all this, pictures of private property signs @the fed and quotes from Thomas Jefferson and Mackenzie King (our former PM) about the dangers of a private central banking system.. THE RESPONSE: "Thats conspiracy theory u dont believe plans hit the world trade centre." (vote obama 2012) Like what do u say to that? So sad.
@VsAStarr It is not sad. You just don't believe facts or have a grasp of reality. What is sad is that people actually waste their time supporting a kook that is obviously not electible. What is even sadder is that a Canadian is a cult member of Texas laughing stock.
yeah you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. Ron Paul says that Social security and medicare and medicaid is a contract between the people and the government and acceptable in the constitution. So look up shit before talking.
@fuzzjunky Well, all the Americans who believe as you do can go to your country, out there on kangaroo island. The sad part is that you have a better monetary system and economy, that's how pathetic this country is.
@VictoryInTruth listen to yourself. the mere idea that another country might be better than america is "unthinkable" ur so self inflated it's a joke. and don't worry, i wouldn't travel to the land of the new nazi in a fit. i'll stay right here. you can do the same
@ItsAboutWhatUDo Yes you are a cult member of Ron Paul. It is the "in" thing to be by young white school kids and delusional teabaggers and libertarians. You are lucky though, you will grow up and face reality. The others will remain delusional and/or become conspiracy theorists if they haven't already done so. Now go watch Peter Schifty or Alex Jones and think about FEMA locking you up, chem-trails turning your skin green or that Paul could ever be president.
@lizardgizard2002 The people that support Ron Paul want to save this country, people like u the delusional ones. Growing up and facing reality is facing the fact that this economy is about to collapse. Im sure u think Ron Paul has no chance anyways so give me a politican that has a better record than Dr. Paul?
@ItsAboutWhatUDo Any polititian would be better than Ron Paul. He is not the Savior. Worshiping him will get you and America nowhere but down the drain. How does someone so young lose the ability to think independantly? Paul has no record but being a loser, what 3 times, at running for president. Don't be so damn gullible. If it is more important for you to be "in" by being a libertarian wannabe than an intelligent thinker, then you have a problem.
@lizardgizard2002 I dont understand why u r so bugged by Ron Paul supporters. Ron Paul is the "in" thing because he actually knows what he is talking about. People like u r annoying why r u even coming to these videoes in the first place if Ron Paul has started a cult in ur mind? If u look at the polls there r many other candidates above Ron but ur acting like he has completely taken over lol ur ridiculous.
@lizardgizard2002 Dude u dont even say anything real back to me because there is nothing u can say. Im im guessing anybody that support the sociopaths like Obama or Rick Perry r completely on track with reality then? Ron Paul supporters know nothing and u know all.
@ItsAboutWhatUDo I didn't say that did I? Paul is simply not electable. You either face it now or in a few months. Most of us know that Paul has been/ is/ always will be wrong about history, economics and political reality. You either learn that now or when you grow up. However, you are free to waste your time thinking Paul is the Savior but for your own sake do not follow it up with monetary support or begin believing the whole libertarian doom and gloom mantra.
@lizardgizard2002 It sounds like u get your poltical schooling and economics from CNN and FOX, and their the workers of the corporate shills who made America a failing country today. You seem to hate the younger generation, FYI maybe they have learned to use the internet better than you for informative resource. Since your informed what is the difference between Austrian and Keynesian economics? Cause anyone from the Austrian school would be pro Paul cause Keynesian's got us into this mess.
@ToniBJam1 LOL, I know fighting with these people plugged into the Matrix, is no easy task. It's not easy to teach a blind sheep. Most of these people wouldn't even know what the difference is between a democracy and a republic. ( and even more think we live in a democracy)..... Anyway, the federal reserve got us into this mess, having a private corporation print money at will. It creates the bubbles and the busts and will eventually destroy the dollar. There's only one hope for the future PAUL.
@elitephpcoder God, can't you think of something new to say. Same old crap that every Paul cult member parrots. I am surprised you did not end your comment with the usua l"Ron Paul 2012" to show your utter stupidity and belief in fairy tales that such a kook could ever be president. Most Americans are smart enough to never let such insanity happen.
@ToniBJam1 No, I got my schooling from reading and from life. Lets see if you can retire at 44 and then do whatever you want thereafter. I agree with you that the media can promote their own interests but then so do conspiracy theorists and Ron Paul cult members. I do not hate young people. Those that have been hoodwinked by cultists and conspiracy theorists and yellow rock scams deserve to be saved. Don't you think so? I assure you, few know how to use the internet better than I. Continued.
@ToniBJam1 Now as to the difference between Austrian and Keynesian economics, I provide the following to sum it up instead of using many words and references. "Austrian economics is to astrology as Keynesian economics is to astronomy". You can quote me on that if you wish. You can also use this quote as you wish as well. "Ausrian economists are wrong about history, economics and political reality".
At the federal scale, taxes do not pay for anything. They are the destruction of currency, M1, base money (notes, coins and High Powered Money between Central Bank and member banks). For example, your bank deposits do not technically pay your taxes. There is an agreement between you, the MBs and the CB and the bank will reduce the quantity in your account, and pay the Fed in real money, or currency, in the form of HPM which is a form of money that only exists in transactions between CB and MBs
It is truly a shame that a man with Ron Paul's integrity does not understand the basics of modern money and fiscal operations. The main problem is this: Private and public debt are not the same things. Where does public debt come from? Keystrokes between the Central Bank and the Treasury. Where does it go to? The private, non-government sector in the form of incomes (whether as a paycheque or benefits, not to mention potentials for reduced overhead costs in public infrastructure, etc.
@dalecs47 Only the rich politicans get hurt u dumbass. The normal people r helped by all this. Do u not understand that all the money the government spends comes from the real economy? They r taking our money & Ron Paul wants to give it back.
"Do u not understand that all the money the government spends comes from the real economy?"
Wrong. All money that you spend comes from the government. I don't see your IOUs circulating in acceptance for taxes or debt payments. But I do see IOUs of particular sovereign states doing this. The private sector can pretend that it creates money through bank credits, but in the end, as always, this illusion crashes in a spiral of debt deflation and Leviathan reappears.
@OgallalaKnowhow Yeah man this economy is fucked. Even if Ron Paul wins i dont understand how he can fix everything that is wrong. Im trying to invest in gold and silver before it is too late.
I am sure that Paul also believes that using the U.S. Military to go after the enemies of our country goes against his twisted, anarchist, ultra-libertarian mindset. He reminds me of the Amish, who refuse to change their mindset in order to incorporate to modern society and remain immersed in the darkness of their ways. Paul's hyper-simplistic views are a danger to this country, and he ought to go live in a deserted island somewhere far, far away so he can implement them without hurting anybody.
@armyveteran101st U dont understand what is going on in this economy at all. How come it is so hard to realize that when the government spends money it is YOUR money & MY money? Nobody is telling the government to spend, spend and spend somemore but there r still dumbasses like u that defend it.
@lizardgizard2002 Thank you! The problem is that Paul's message is so simplistic and so unthinking that it appeals to those with the lowest IQ levels and with the lowest levels of knowledge about how our country works. Sadly, those people are in the majority apparently.
@armyveteran101st Don't worry, they are not in the majority. They just have small brains and big mouths. They are a fringe group that noone listens to. Paul's support is about 5% an it is only that high because the Republican field is so shallow. Many of Paul's supporters are young 18 year olds who think it is "in" to be a Paul cult member. They will not leave their video games to vote in 2012 anyway and Paul will have dropped out (again) before that.
@lizardgizard2002 Even though that is a sad state of affairs, I hope you are right. I cringe just thinking that Ron Paul's ideas could find a following anywhere!
The interviewer's questions and his reaction to the answers show you how people are so use to the status quo that Dr. Paul's solutions sound like crazy talk to them. Clearly, they have not thought any of the issues facing America completely through. Whereas, Dr. Paul has and has an actual solution to them.
Does Ron Paul attack or does the State constitutions attack Obama as Fox tries to attack Ron Paul not having a clue about American constitutions -- Obama attacks Americans should be the headlines
@colourmegone Exactly, what's the difference? We've been killing innocent people for decades and "christians" and "muslims" have been doing it for centuries.

The more we fund education the higher the prices will be. Universities set tuition prices by how much student aid they think students will receive. The more aid, the higher the tuition. It;s really counter productive and all its doing is making the rich get richer.

That doesn't make any sense, no one in this country has to pay for K-12 education except through taxes. Most colleges are private, so no one is funding them unless they are attending them.

Neosaigo 4 months ago 4
@Neosaigo that is way we need to be socalist and not just give money out to anyone that want it but make people put money back in to the nation and make jobs if it is just paying people work picking up trash
antoine121290 4 months ago
@Neosaigo

55ella2007k 4 months ago
@55ella2007k >>>(continued 2)>>makes the assumption, that everybody on the planet is already on a level playing field, and if only individual people acted in their self-interest, not consciously hurting others, then all will be fine. The reality is, that there no equal playing field, there never has been, and never will be. This idea is as utopian and misguided as Marxism, which like Capitalism, went beserk, once it became centralized. Same goes for capitalism, now centralized in few hands.
55ella2007k 4 months ago
@55ella2007k Uhhh.. The government has been permeated by Keynesian economic thinking for the last 80 years.
Austrian economists haven't had their way, there hasn't been a free market. It is therefore illogical to blame the free market for problems that arise in a managed market.

Rsd79 4 months ago

Your statement, sorry to say, is without substance.
krazyknva78 4 months ago
@krazyknva78 Here is some "substance" for you. GW Bush basically gave up on looking for Bin Laden after Saddam was killed. Then SENATOR Obama said he would "take the shot" on Bin Laden no matter where in the world he was. Soon after Obama killed Bin Laden, Dr. Paul came out in protest and said that going into Pakistan and killing Bin Laden was ILLEGAL. Dr. Paul actually said Obama shouldve asked Pakistan for PERMISSION! Really Dr. Paul?! Ask the people that were hidding Bin Laden for permission?
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 To be fair, if Ron Paul had his way, 9/11(and the ensuing hunt for Bin Laden) wouldn't of happened.
Senator Obama also said that the president doesn't have the authority to go to war without congressional approval(lol).
pizzanbeer11 4 months ago
@pizzanbeer11 Look at The Presidents efforts on national security (just this year alone) heres what hes got done. Killed /captured or removed the following threasts: Bin Laden, Anwar Al- Awlaki (al Qaeda) and 3 dictators, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali,(tonesha) Hosni Mubarak (Egypt), and now Moammar Gadhafi. (lybia) All this just this year! when Bush couldn’t find Bin Laden after 7 years. You almost sound as if you would prefer Obama had not killed Bin Laden or taken any of these actions.
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 No, I would prefer that they never became enemies in the first place.
This is what Ron Paul wants as well.
pizzanbeer11 4 months ago
@pizzanbeer11 Thats the problem with the Dr. Paul argument. Dr. Paul CANT run for President today by stating what he wouldve done in the past. We MUST deal with the real world we live in presently. When I listen to Dr. Paul, he invariably goes back in time 40,50, 60 yrs into the past. The fact that Dr. Paul voted for the hunt on Bin Laden and then criticizes The President for getting the job done, hurts his credibility & makes him look partisan.
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 It's never too late to stop the warmongering. Bringing the troops home would be a gigantic plus for America, and the world.
His disagreement with the Bin Laden kill is how it was done, it had nothing to do with partisanship. He said(and I agree), that it would of been better to capture him and put him on trial, like the Nazi war criminals.
pizzanbeer11 4 months ago
@pizzanbeer11 Put Bin Laden on trial?? The animal that sent videos all around the world bragging about killing thousands on American on 9/11? pizzanbeer11 4 months ago
@pizzanbeer11 Here you go again, going back in time instead of dealing with the PRESENT world situation. What do mass murders in Europe have to do with our current President Obama keeping us safe? The President has only been in office for 3 yrs. President Obama has done more in 3 yys to keep Americans safe that GW Bush AND Bill Clinton did in their combinded 16 yrs.
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 Huh? Why are you changing the subject?

pizzanbeer11 4 months ago
@pizzanbeer11 Im not changing the subject at all. Why do you continue to suggest that Bin Laden was due a fair trial? Bin Laden BRAGGED about killing thousands of innocent Ameicans on 9/11, so what would a trial accomplish other than a death sentence @ the expense of the American people? Why are you not understanding this?!
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 bin laden did not brag about anything......in fact he denied any involvement at all. If you are referring to the fake video the cia etc put out, then you are incorrect.
getagripcanada 4 months ago
@getagripcanada So you believe that al Queda, lead by Bin Laden, had nothing to do with the al Queda terrorist attacks on innocent Americans on 9/11? You dont believe that the videos that Bin Laden, which were sent out world wide claiming responsibility, are legit? You think the CIA made up the Bin Laden videos?
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 the only video showing a fat bin laden, who doesn't even look like him, claiming responsibility for the attacks, was fake. Fake as in not real. Made up. Hoax. Illusion. Whatever you want to call it, its still fake. Whether they had a tiny role in the attacks, I don't know. Probably as patsies or a distraction at most. Its pretty clear to anyone with even a tiny bit of common sense that the entire thing was staged and not part of any real "terrorist" agenda.
getagripcanada 4 months ago
@getagripcanada So let me get this straight, you support Dr. Paul for President, and you dont think Bin Laden was responisble for 9/11. Am I getting you right?
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 I don't support anyone for president........all candidates are puppets, including mason Ron Paul. He just makes it sound better. Bin laden was created by the CIA, funded and trained by the CIA and used as a distraction to further the agenda of endless wars for profit, oil theft, land theft, money theft, population reduction and ultimately one world government which is still in the works.
getagripcanada 4 months ago
@getagripcanada The interesting part fo your last comment is that you are 100% correct...you just have the Name wrong. It was not Bin Laden that was put into power by the USA...it was Saddam.
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 bin laden and his family were business partners with the Bush family and still are. When Senior Bush was head of the CIA, he was able to funnel money and training to bin laden etc. when they were fighting the soviets in Afghanistan and continued when he became president...oops I meant vice president under reagan. Then bin laden and his buddies were used in serbia during clinton's reign as puppet supreme. All funded by the good ol USA.

thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 of course Ron Paul will never be president. It would never be allowed by the powers that be. He is just window dressing used to convince the people they have choice, when in fact they have none. In fact I wouldn't doubt he dies before the election just to stir things up a bit. Obama will win again, but probably with Hitlery Klinton as VP, not Biden.
getagripcanada 4 months ago
@getagripcanada Youre wrong about Bin Laden not sending out vids claming responsibllity for 9/11. Im sure you can find it here on YT if you really wanted to. I agree that Obama will win again unless somone new jumps into the race very late

Good luck in 2012.
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@pizzanbeer11 Also, think about what youre saying...it would the ultimate example of adding insult to injury to ask the struggling American public to PAY for a trial to defend the animal that bragged about killing thousands of Americans on 9/11. Bin Laden got EXACTLY what he deserved the way he deserved it. Being shot down like the wild, crazed animal he truely is.
thenewmike2012 4 months ago
@thenewmike2012 Not exactly. Paul's right about how we conducted the operation being against international law. Considering the amount of foreign aid we give them, why wouldn't we confront Pakistan about hiding Bin Laden first? What he was suggesting was giving Pakistan the chance to come clean & do the right thing first before taking matters into our own hands. If they did, we'd have Bin Laden with Pakistan's help. If not, we'd have him with the international community's blessing.

Simplicity?

88relient 4 months ago
@88relient You're suggesting "very stupidest" is an error? Try again. I'll help you: "constrction" was a misspelling; exploit it to the full. ( Your use of "misnomer was, ironically, a solecism.)
You'll notice I included the qualification "Is that really what you meant to imply?" . This was in response to your sentence "Enjoy the mainstream corporatism you so willfully accept". You're Implying *I* assume too much on the part of my interlocutor's statements?
Simplicity itself.
polymath7 4 months ago
@polymath7
Later buddy.
88relient 4 months ago
@polymath7 Actually its about freedom vs tyranny. The more the pendulum swings to the side of socialism, the more government force must be applied. The more power a government receives to use force against its people the more tyrannical it becomes. Libertarians arent against corporations, were against the government giving spec. priviliags and bailouts, and government interference in general. And by the way most Libertarians are well educated, but you don't need a high IQ to understand freedom.

Yeah... fuck subsidizing student expenses. We're doing so much better than those posh European countries and their socialist, fascist communist methods of paying for education. So what if on average they're much more intelligent, at-least we're free... U.S.A U.S.A U.S.A!
RedSkiesAwaitUs 4 months ago
@RedSkiesAwaitUs Complete rubbish. The US farmer sits in his air conditioned harvester, watching a DVD whilst he harvests his crops as opposed to driving a horse and cart, and you have the audacity to state the Europeans are more intelligent than Americans!!! Furthermore, if you consider the STANDARD of education offered by a gov't to that of a private establishment, it is obvious that the gov't FAILS miserably. That is why politicians use private education for their kids. Bravo Mr Paul.
RebelRadius 4 months ago
@RebelRadius Yes because western Europe has yet to invent farming equipment... *rolls eyes*. European education is cheaper and it is better.. Why? Because it exists to educate and not to make a profit. If you're going to spew rhetoric, at-least try to make sure it's factual...

Your morality is screwed and you deserve the gov't you have got.

Fuckwit.

@MrMnmn911 Lol, who needs tens of thousands of dollars in loans if tuition is a 1000$? Canada tuition is A FRACTION of US universities and their quality is the practically the SAME! Why? Because the universities are allowed to increase their tuition to any amount they would like.

Gary Johnson is the best presidential candidate for the american people. He has the most logical and ethical economic solutions for this nation as a whole. I ask that you at least research him, and if you do not, if I did know you, I'd have to ask, why are you voting when you do not have all the facts? Why vote only for your own sake instead of for the sake of our nation and the greater good? Take some time and read, and see what else is out there? besides what the media tells you
dkoribag1 4 months ago
Ron Paul is brilliant! If the Republicans nominate anyone else, I'll be voting 3rd party and preparing my family for America's collapse. The news anchor in this clip is totally ignorant of the US CONSTITUTION and the STRICT LIMITS it places on the Federal Government.

@Deztructor13x Glass Steagall was designed for Derivatives and Speculation regulation. In fact, its repeal is what worsened our economic collapse.

Ron's being distracted by something off screen in this interview. Ron needed to describe the way he's closing the departments.

@xaphoo1971 I think you mean "too" dumb not "to" dumb. LOL. We can tell that you are a dumb Paul supporter.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@xaphoo1971 Sad but true. Even here in Canada i was talking too a University student about how the federal reserve is private. I gave him the interview of Alan Greenspan admitting all this, pictures of private property signs @the fed and quotes from Thomas Jefferson and Mackenzie King (our former PM) about the dangers of a private central banking system.. THE RESPONSE: "Thats conspiracy theory u dont believe plans hit the world trade centre." (vote obama 2012) Like what do u say to that? So sad.
VsAStarr 4 months ago
@VsAStarr It is not sad. You just don't believe facts or have a grasp of reality. What is sad is that people actually waste their time supporting a kook that is obviously not electible. What is even sadder is that a Canadian is a cult member of Texas laughing stock.

yeah you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. Ron Paul says that Social security and medicare and medicaid is a contract between the people and the government and acceptable in the constitution. So look up shit before talking.

Now go watch Peter Schifty or Alex Jones and think about FEMA locking you up, chem-trails turning your skin green or that Paul could ever be president.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@lizardgizard2002 The people that support Ron Paul want to save this country, people like u the delusional ones. Growing up and facing reality is facing the fact that this economy is about to collapse. Im sure u think Ron Paul has no chance anyways so give me a politican that has a better record than Dr. Paul?
ItsAboutWhatUDo 4 months ago
@ItsAboutWhatUDo Any polititian would be better than Ron Paul. He is not the Savior. Worshiping him will get you and America nowhere but down the drain. How does someone so young lose the ability to think independantly? Paul has no record but being a loser, what 3 times, at running for president. Don't be so damn gullible. If it is more important for you to be "in" by being a libertarian wannabe than an intelligent thinker, then you have a problem.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@lizardgizard2002 I dont understand why u r so bugged by Ron Paul supporters. Ron Paul is the "in" thing because he actually knows what he is talking about. People like u r annoying why r u even coming to these videoes in the first place if Ron Paul has started a cult in ur mind? If u look at the polls there r many other candidates above Ron but ur acting like he has completely taken over lol ur ridiculous.
ItsAboutWhatUDo 4 months ago
@ItsAboutWhatUDo Whatever> Like I said, you are lost already. Sad.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@lizardgizard2002 Dude u dont even say anything real back to me because there is nothing u can say. Im im guessing anybody that support the sociopaths like Obama or Rick Perry r completely on track with reality then? Ron Paul supporters know nothing and u know all.
ItsAboutWhatUDo 4 months ago
@ItsAboutWhatUDo I didn't say that did I? Paul is simply not electable. You either face it now or in a few months. Most of us know that Paul has been/ is/ always will be wrong about history, economics and political reality. You either learn that now or when you grow up. However, you are free to waste your time thinking Paul is the Savior but for your own sake do not follow it up with monetary support or begin believing the whole libertarian doom and gloom mantra.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@lizardgizard2002 It sounds like u get your poltical schooling and economics from CNN and FOX, and their the workers of the corporate shills who made America a failing country today. You seem to hate the younger generation, FYI maybe they have learned to use the internet better than you for informative resource. Since your informed what is the difference between Austrian and Keynesian economics? Cause anyone from the Austrian school would be pro Paul cause Keynesian's got us into this mess.
ToniBJam1 4 months ago
@ToniBJam1 LOL, I know fighting with these people plugged into the Matrix, is no easy task. It's not easy to teach a blind sheep. Most of these people wouldn't even know what the difference is between a democracy and a republic. ( and even more think we live in a democracy)..... Anyway, the federal reserve got us into this mess, having a private corporation print money at will. It creates the bubbles and the busts and will eventually destroy the dollar. There's only one hope for the future PAUL.
elitephpcoder 4 months ago
@elitephpcoder God, can't you think of something new to say. Same old crap that every Paul cult member parrots. I am surprised you did not end your comment with the usua l"Ron Paul 2012" to show your utter stupidity and belief in fairy tales that such a kook could ever be president. Most Americans are smart enough to never let such insanity happen.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@ToniBJam1 No, I got my schooling from reading and from life. Lets see if you can retire at 44 and then do whatever you want thereafter. I agree with you that the media can promote their own interests but then so do conspiracy theorists and Ron Paul cult members. I do not hate young people. Those that have been hoodwinked by cultists and conspiracy theorists and yellow rock scams deserve to be saved. Don't you think so? I assure you, few know how to use the internet better than I. Continued.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@ToniBJam1 Now as to the difference between Austrian and Keynesian economics, I provide the following to sum it up instead of using many words and references. "Austrian economics is to astrology as Keynesian economics is to astronomy". You can quote me on that if you wish. You can also use this quote as you wish as well. "Ausrian economists are wrong about history, economics and political reality".
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
At the federal scale, taxes do not pay for anything. They are the destruction of currency, M1, base money (notes, coins and High Powered Money between Central Bank and member banks). For example, your bank deposits do not technically pay your taxes. There is an agreement between you, the MBs and the CB and the bank will reduce the quantity in your account, and pay the Fed in real money, or currency, in the form of HPM which is a form of money that only exists in transactions between CB and MBs
OgallalaKnowhow 4 months ago
It is truly a shame that a man with Ron Paul's integrity does not understand the basics of modern money and fiscal operations. The main problem is this: Private and public debt are not the same things. Where does public debt come from? Keystrokes between the Central Bank and the Treasury. Where does it go to? The private, non-government sector in the form of incomes (whether as a paycheque or benefits, not to mention potentials for reduced overhead costs in public infrastructure, etc.
OgallalaKnowhow 4 months ago
No one gets hurt? Ron Paul is a liar!
dalecs47 4 months ago
@dalecs47 Only the rich politicans get hurt u dumbass. The normal people r helped by all this. Do u not understand that all the money the government spends comes from the real economy? They r taking our money & Ron Paul wants to give it back.
ItsAboutWhatUDo 4 months ago
@ItsAboutWhatUDo
OgallalaKnowhow 4 months ago
@OgallalaKnowhow Yeah man this economy is fucked. Even if Ron Paul wins i dont understand how he can fix everything that is wrong. Im trying to invest in gold and silver before it is too late.
ItsAboutWhatUDo 4 months ago
@ItsAboutWhatUDo Maybe it is too late for you. You seem to be falling for the yellow rock scam.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@dalecs47 And saying you're going to kill programs and then transfer them to another department isn't exactly fixing anything. More rhetoric.

Paul's hyper-simplistic views are a danger to this country, and he ought to go live in a deserted island somewhere far, far away so he can implement them without hurting anybody.
armyveteran101st 4 months ago
@armyveteran101st U dont understand what is going on in this economy at all. How come it is so hard to realize that when the government spends money it is YOUR money & MY money? Nobody is telling the government to spend, spend and spend somemore but there r still dumbasses like u that defend it.
ItsAboutWhatUDo 4 months ago
@armyveteran101st
The US military has no enemies, only interests and convenient fictions to realize them.
OgallalaKnowhow 4 months ago
@armyveteran101st Couldn't have said it better myself. A voice of sanity surrounded by Ron Paul gibberish.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@lizardgizard2002 Thank you! The problem is that Paul's message is so simplistic and so unthinking that it appeals to those with the lowest IQ levels and with the lowest levels of knowledge about how our country works. Sadly, those people are in the majority apparently.
armyveteran101st 4 months ago
@armyveteran101st Don't worry, they are not in the majority. They just have small brains and big mouths. They are a fringe group that noone listens to. Paul's support is about 5% an it is only that high because the Republican field is so shallow. Many of Paul's supporters are young 18 year olds who think it is "in" to be a Paul cult member. They will not leave their video games to vote in 2012 anyway and Paul will have dropped out (again) before that.
lizardgizard2002 4 months ago
@lizardgizard2002 Even though that is a sad state of affairs, I hope you are right. I cringe just thinking that Ron Paul's ideas could find a following anywhere!
armyveteran101st 4 months ago
The interviewer's questions and his reaction to the answers show you how people are so use to the status quo that Dr. Paul's solutions sound like crazy talk to them. Clearly, they have not thought any of the issues facing America completely through. Whereas, Dr. Paul has and has an actual solution to them.
