there was this couple that where in love and their parents wouldn't let them marry. So they went to lovers leap, went to the edge, grabbed each others hands, kissed then jumped. They say that the guy hit the rock and died instantly and the girl went on out into the trees. Now i don't know if you saw but couples come to show their respect to the couple by writing their names on lovers leap.
