  • Now this is how it's done. Way to go AF!

  • Who ever the Hell disliked this is getting my foot in their ass, meet me in Iraq

  • Yeah! Cherry!!

  • @reesejenks520

So with this comment you're representing Barksdale's AFB Honor Guard huh? One team, one fight good sir. No need to bash our brothers on a very public forum.

  • that was very crisp

  • lol you guys werent using the the electronic ceremonial bugle by any chance were you?

  • @dumaznbum

Ssshh.... Nobody notices the little red light :D

  • very well executed, except the commander didnt salute for the playing of taps.

  • Best I've heard EVER, far more difficult w 7 person fp. # 5 guardsman from the left reverted to left face on present arms. Otherwise OUTSTANDING!!!

  • As for Honor Guard at D-M. These guys hit it perfect. Bravo!

  • Those guys are frickin dialed, amazing syncronization

  • I love the ambulance in the backround

  • @kamea22 Thank you!!! I hate when people say 21 gun salute!!

  • Coming from a Marine, that rifle detail performed outstandingly! Sounded like one bolt, one clap, and one shot. Hats off to it's members.

  • No branch does it like the Air Force when it comes to drill teams and Honor Guard. I've only had base honor guard experience but have seen enough to understand something great and something not. Cannon, GREAT job!!! You guys are on key!!!

  • @usafairman2008 ya man def. Im in the USAF Honor Guard and i agree, no one does it quite like our firing team

  • All three volleys were perfect!

  • This rifle team doing the 3-volley salute was great, I just wish the video included the full version of Taps ...

  • Whooo-

    Clean & presice!

  • damn good job guys. Props

To all fallen heros, rest in peace, your job here is well done

Semper fidelis-Always faithful...to oneself, to the country, and to our brothers and sisters in arms

  • these are some tight on the money mother fuckers...good job boys!!

  • in-sync. nice

  • i thought 21 gun salute was with a shotgun?

  • @BigGunFan323 No a 21 gun salute are howitzer rounds.

  • Kamea22 is correct a 21 gun salute is only given as the result of the death of a president. This is a 3 volley salute

  • Absolutely Perfect!

  • I wish the video didn't cut taps off

  • im in honor guard training right now, and i can tell that they are moving very fast. i mean very fuckin fast

  • @thefogg haha i second that! especially after the "right up". Holy shit... i couldnt imagine some of our slower guys EVER pulling this off!

  • A "gun" in this context is actually a cannon/artillery piece. A gun salute is a series of distinct shots from the cannon, with 21 the maximum rendered for a head of state. The ceremony shown here is known as the Three Rifle Volleys. It doesn't matter how many weapons are used or how many rounds are expended. Seven shooters firing three times each happens to be 21 rounds, but it's not a 21 Gun Salute.

  • row row row your boat! LMFAO

  • @smckellop i know exactly what you are talking about. the people that are giving you the thumbs down just dont know. im giving you a thumbs up

  • The shots were dead on. Nice! Just slow the *#$& down, NFP needs to work on command voice, and just about everyone needs to fix the butt slams...almost everyone was coming down on the toe of the weapon. Your gonna crack a stock.

  • kamea22 you're correct.

  • damn! DAMN! awesome stuff there man.!

  • Interesting on how quickly they do the firing sequence, but definitely three distinct boomers. We've been taught to do it slower while making each movement much more noticeable. Still a solid performance, though.

  • would be much better with the taps included

  • my buddy Bellaire and I were the first to start the auto fire sequence using only the command 'ready!' I is awesome to see that the Guard has kept this cool tradition. I was hell proving it to our commander at the time. :-) We starting going live with this in 1994. Goooood times! To Honor With Dignity!

  • *Outstanding* FP sequence! The facing movement: Fifth Airman from stage right- way out on the right leg.

Your hard work is very apparent. Great job.
