He was already playing like 5 years here. No shit. Cmon people stop rambling about that 'talent' bullshit. Respect his input and hard work. Or rather the love for music.
I love his expression like you actually think this is hard psht hah silly mortals. hahaha he almost looks bored learned this peice want to move on the next one. :P
Amazing Guitarist to this day. Note that he was around 9 years of age in this video and he started to play the guitar at 7. How many people do you know who can play like that after just 2 years of playing an instrument?..or any instrument for that matter!
nice i just saw grisha do a guest appearance at my school's guitar recital.. he was sweet. He made the songs that my classmates and i played look like absolute child's play.
always hated hungarian folkmusic, but on guitar everything is so much better. Still not my favorite tho, but I dont get why hungarian gipsies play violin instead of guitar...would be a lot enjoyable.just like gipsy kings
I just turned 61. Started playing guitar 3 yrs ago. Extremely difficult for me trying to learn flamenco but it has elevated my utmost respect for anyone that is good and especially those that are gifted. I think Grisha is absolutely amazing. Great inspiration for a oneab like me.
Oh, and BTW, I don't know where you got that the Csardas is easier than much of Paco's material. The Csardas is universally accepted by most pro musicians as a rite of passage, because it is a very difficult piece to do at the expert level. It is part of the repertoire for many virtuosos actually precisely so they can show what they're capable of technically.
rasmusemil02, from your comment you are seemingl forgetting this is an old vid of him as a kid, he's much more developed now, so yeah, you shouldn't be flaming him. How many kids do you know that can play like that? Truth be told he hasn't caught up to Paco even now, but Paco has developed throughout his career as well, so it'll always be playing catchup for players younger than him. Nonetheless Grisha comes closer than most.
@mormorgranat It's true he did practice with a nanoguitar in the womb and he was playing a bulerias with it when he was born !!!! the guitar made the birth a bit more painfull !!
I dont wanna flame a kid with that kind of talent too hard, but he still is a bit off on the beats... And he is still somewhat (!!!) short of the paco speed and technique. Compared to the stuff paco plays the csardas is a walk in the cake. But hey GOOD JOB GRISHA
I haven't seen a talent like this in the guitar at that age. Just outstanding! Look at his technique. I suppose he's about 10 years old here. He is probably now 25 years old. He's amazing!
I Really like it..this man is a miracle..god bless him..i do play guitar but not as good as him at all..i hope i'll b like him sometime..Bisharah Samer Kakish(Jordan)
damn it i want to hear about any famous guitarist who started playing guitar at late age all of them started playing the guitar when they was under 10 years old damn i want some hope and find a guitarist started at 21 years old for example
if you find a guitarist of 21 years old who "can" devote all the time they want to practice/study guitar, i mean at that age i think everybody should be studying/working or any kind of responsabilities, if you find oil in your backyard maybe you could live playing guitar...
hahaha thats right the whole problem is the time you devote for practising cause it decreases every time u get older and there's no hope to find oil in my backyard cause i dont have a backyard so again i lost my hope to play guitar lool
Hey you shouldn't have to defend anything. I listened to rap back in the early to mid 1980's. But yeah...there's no comparison. Rap lovers will only understand if they fall in love with classical/flamenco guitar and actually try to learn/practice at it.
You're right about there being no comparison. Putting together words in a clever and inspiring way is completely different from this. I appreciate pretty much all forms of music, but being 16 i didn't really live in the 'golden era' of hip-hop. As far as talent, I don't think you need more to do one than the other. Then again, I have never played the flamenco..
Nah...I am not dissing hip-hop. I work and live with many young people and many of them listen to hip hop. Whatever makes them and you happy, it's all good.
That being said, hip hop is no flamenco. Putting words in a clever and inspiring way is not the same as interpreting music theory and playing it through an instrument.
True, they are completely different..When referring to Hip-Hop i mean the culture as a whole..breakdancing and beatboxing take alot of talent and practice as well
exactly, once you know what you're missing, you'll love it. it works both ways really, just to know what the other person is experiencing is not all that bad.
