This is a pretty decent anime but the dialogue is very poor. It's clear that it's a blatant rip-off of Yu Yu Hakusho, and while the story is not overly bad, the script written for it fails the show. Yu Yu Hakusho had a great story and brilliant writing. It's one of the few animes that are actually better in English than Japanese. Funimation did a great job with its script, but this show makes you want blush at the embarrassing-at-times dialogue. It does keep the action flowing nicely though.

@iconamongidols Trust me, the manga is far superior to the anime, and indeed, this ripped YYH off, but it gets better soon. The voices in this are average at best, and considering they cut the anime after this arc shows that is wasn't popular.

All shounen anime have a similar character cast. I really noticed it here and in Anzai's other series MAR, but every shounen anime/manga seems to have a very similar cast. The serious one, the powerhouse, the cute bruiser, the protagonist, and the smart one.
