Good morning from southern California. I've recently purchased some S.Gawith Full Virginia Flake; yet it will not stay lit and is therefore difficult to smoke. Perhaps I need to dry it out? And It doesnt look like you use a hummidor...are the jars you use better for storage? Thanks for the insightful videos- sal
Nice pipe! Haven't seen that particular shape before...have you ever tried the bleach method of removing oxidation? It works wonders. leave the bit in the straight bleach for about 30 minutes to an hour and then use that foam abrasive pad to remove the oxidation and polish it.
Hi Jim! Always good to get a tip on new ways to clean our stems. I'll keep en eye out for that magic eraser. Love that squat bulldog! I'd really like to try some more lakeland-style tobaccos, but I'm afraid they might be too strong for my taste.
I do like that pipe Jim. Good tip.. I don't have a garage workshop so a great help to me. Good to see you enjoying the lakellands. I keep some bosuns in the house all the time. I've always been a fan of these and I'm glad to see you are now. Cheers, Tim
@Milverton68 Yes. Am I right in thinking you also have a squat shape pipe? I got it in trade for some Condor with a US piper. It has cleaned up very nicely.
@dgnattrass My favourite English? Squadron Leader! That doesn't help though...in the USA there are many more blends available, but in the UK you might try Old Dublin, which I like, or the newly reissued Dunhill blends. I have some MM965 waiting in the cellar that the moment...looking forward to it!
Great vid, man. You should make more. It's nice to talk about fine pipes and tobacco in tough times, such as these.

Oh, some awesome tobaccos. I am just zapping through G&H and hit your fine review, and they are sure gonna be my next tobaccos from mytobaccoshop.
Thanks for sharing.

I like those tobacco's also. Have you tried the Irish Slices and Ennerdale flakes? They're also good.

Nice to see you back with a new vid.
Kind Regards
