It's been forever since i've seen a Sapphire Sound show... my favorite year was 1997's "At the Movies w/ John Williams" Star Wars, ET, Jaws, Far and Away, and Empire of the Sun... The best show ever! And the best part of the show had to have been Jaws where drumline did a really great riff to carry us over to Empire of the Sun. MMHS Forever!

I don't care what the scores were, or what place we got. This show was pretty much the definition of awesome. (I heard 2nd clarinets!!) And yes, I do completely think this show topped Russian Trilogy and American Composers, scores put aside. Thanks for an amazing last season guys. Now I can finally watch a Mira Mesa show. Always wanted to do that. And saxes, don't suck. You guys are the greatest section I've ever had.

Because of the school I'm from, the competetiveness grows on you, even if you don't want it too, but so far the only ppl I see bringing home any trophies this year is the Band, and we're probably the smallest afterschool club there XD

I want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication this year. Like Mr Dally said, now its going to be "oh, remember WHEN KINGS RULED?", because really, this show in my opinion will be the one that goes down in the books as one that truly represents what we feel and express through music. Thank you for putting up this show...I seriously felt that this was our best show EVER and our best show of the entire year...WAY better than the run from thursday night...and thats saying someting...but thank you a ton...and thanks to everyone...especiallay for making my senior year...and my senior run, truly amazing...scores and placement dont matter to me, because i know we had the run of our lives last night... BEST OF LUCK NEXT YEAR MIRA MESA!!!! Ill miss you!
