I can list at least 10 more famous Jewish singers than Matis(at this time). I love Matisyahu and he is my favorite singer righ now, but he is definitely not the first famous jewish singer in the World and it's not even close. Like I said, I love Matisyahu but let's give credit where credit is due. Gene Simmons, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, David Lee Roth, Beastie Boys, etc. Not saying they're better, to me they're not, but they were all famous before Matisyahu.
