@miniblueshadow if you play on hard you have to do 3 perfect beats to activate hero mode, instead of just one. Those things are for counting how many more you need.

you should use the warrior hero and settings to easy, that way everytime he screams he wont go off killin all ya team once hero mode is achieved, your patapons wil drop to the ground too instead of flyin of screen

Theres that hero CPU pon that is REALLY good as well. It's like Bakun or something. Damage range 55-882. Pig Rarepon. Slow atk speed though, and it's using Gong's Scythe. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

If you guys want a good tatepon, make it a demon or bunny and give it gong's scythe.

@NajiLestian I change them depending on the monster, the type of unit and the type of rarepon. I use the no sleep mask when fighting Shuckle if I'm using a melee unit. When using a yumipon I use one of the attack speed masks, if I want to make the fight long to get items or the enemy hits hard, I use Shubabassa, if I want damage and I know the enemy is kind of easy I use the other one wich lowers defense. @Komesanos When using other kinds of rarepon, I tend to use the last red ones (they look like a mogyoon and a babassa). If I'm using Babassa or Mogyuugyu I tend to use the oposite mask since they compensate the lacks of each one. I personally prefer Babassa + Mogyoon mask but I'll use the other combination if the enemy is strong to critical. If I'm using Wagyanba, I usually go for babassa mask, but I'll switch to mogyoon if the enemy is strong against critical. It's a bit long but hope it helps

@NajiLestian ah!! that was what you meant, I like to mix them up, for instance, in the yumipon squad I have: one mogyuugyu, one babassa, one wagyanba, one supengu, one moriusso and one mashuriro, that way I have 3 damage dealers and 4 status dealers (wagyanba is both). In the kibapon squad I have one mogyuugyu, one babassa and one wagyanba, so I focus on damage.

@NajiLestian I think it's always better to evolve just one patapon at a time to the max. I usually start with the tree rarepon, since it'll be easier to get more materials with them. Since my favourite units are kibapons, yumipons and mahopons, I start evolving only yumipons, because I won't be using tatepons or yaripons, but I'll make 6 of each first. If you want further opinion just ask =)

@kevinmarquez19 I find barsala better than mogyun. mogyun has much more raw attack, but it has almost no critical and is slower. That means you can deal a 1000 damage in one attack and 50 in the next. It's also noticeable that it shoots less arrows than barsala in hero mode.

The truth is mogyun is a no brainer, you can use it whenever you want, but barsala is better if your enemy is or can be weak to criticals.

@Keac666 How is that? It's the mask you begin with, but fully upgraded. You have to play Darachura egg a few times to get it's final form.

@Keac666 By the way, the use of the yumipon hero is not to deal a lot of damage with one hit, instead, it deals a lot of hits of around 500 damage in hero mode, and 6 hits of 500 per attack while in fever. The enemy has to be weak against criticals, though, but most hard enemys have breakable parts that will be weak to critical when broken. The best way to break them is to hit them a lot, just what yumipon does.

it's fun to take on one of the weaker bosses with strong hero pon. I've used my mogyugyu with zubizubabaya mask and killed that thing in 56 seconds. It was lvl 60. Taking on the final boss with one patapon..that would be a nice challenge.

use zubizubabaya mask and lvl 10 mogyugyu. I has 23- 451 damage and attack speed of .56 sec

when you put in on hero mode, its rapid fire is insane. I love yumipon heroes.

I can't remember because I collected all my masks while ago. But I'm pretty sure its one of the later bosses. Try kanogias and ganodias and garuru and goruru. the very first mask is an angry eye with purple tint to the eye.

Not at all. All you do is go to the equip screen (where he's at at 0:01), go over a squad, press square, then press start. It will say "There are missing squads. Continue?". Select yes and there you go.

Nice! When I have my Hero Yumipon with Divine Bow and he is Chikkurichi (lvl 10 blue guy) and the fast attack speed mask, he attacks 0.04 sec.

That's true, but you'll notice that below 0.40 or so there isn't any real improvement in attack speed, with a chikurinchi it's better to have another mask which improves attack or critical for damage, or cnc ratio for items

I use shubabassa when I want drops because you do less damage and so the enemy lasts longer. Zubizubabaya is better when you just want to kill a monster to keep going or you are not able to kill any of them in time in Parageto.

I was playing on hard. To get the hero enter the hero mode you have to do a perfect timing beat 3 times, so those icons show how many times you've done one.

In easy or normal you just have to do it once, hence there is not necessary any indication.
