@smsjamespapa FUCK YOU, I'm glad that you are uneducated person. If Muslims leave would would run the country then? 85% of doctors in the medical field are Muslim.
@afg96 first of hall my friend, this is my point of view nothing personal, please mind your language, otherwise I will fuck you sister than you will be a victim of honor killing.
@afg96 if you are a Muslim I am also Muslim before saying bad words I can also use it but any way I am sorry man , may be I hurt you but please don't abuse any one in the future .
@smsjamespapa Are you mentally unstable brother? Or just dumb? Unlike you I'm not a coward I stand up for my religion, that guy clearly offended Islam, he is so dumb that he doesn't realizes that Islam doesn't not allow this! So it is his stupidity and lack of knowledge that put him into this situation. And next time bro mind your own business.
@howie1962 You know nothing about Islam. People like you and this family are symbol of disgrace to all of us(Muslims). You are cruel, followers of Satan. To become a true Muslim; one has to become a good human being first. I pray to Allah Pak to make you, these killers and all other cruel people killing innocent people cursed in this world and give the worst punishment in the world here after.
You probably never lived in a Muslim country, never studied the Quran in Arabic and never embraced Sharia. Marginal Muslim apologists like you disgrace true proud Muslims..
@howie1962 From you first comment; I got the message that these girls were killed just because on of them got married to a Pakistani and you are saying this just because of personal issues with Pakistanies. But, now I have researched and found them guilty of sins which definitely have punishment of death(Sangsar). But, this family shall be held responsible as well which put those girls in a society being run on rules of devil.
I have no personal issues with Pakistanies but Mr Shafia did, so you have to trust his opinion. Mr Shafia tried to educate the girls the best he could not to be whores in the canadian society in order to protect the honor of Islam and his family
@howie1962 My friend: keeping children away from religious education just for so called modern education is a blunder. Muslims have to focus on both.
I have been with Afghan people for so many years till I have to come to UAE. And my personal experience says that Afghan realize so late. Now, recently Quran Pak was burned by NATO People in Bagram Airbase. You can see a strong protest and reaction from Pakistan but very little from Afghanistan.
@howie1962 That is not religion this is murder. you have no right too chose who lives or who dies, you are not god. if you think this is acceptable your sick, and i would strongly suggest seeking some professional help. take your nonsense and back to your heinous country and please leave it out of ares. Sick control freak.
@howie1962 I don't agree that these women were whores, but let's say for the sake of arguement that they were. So what? This man emigrated to Canada which is a free country. Your question"what ever happened to religious freedom" indicates that you do not understand freedom. Freedom is the right of the individual to control his own life, not the lives of others. These women had the right to be whores or marry a paki if they wanted because it was their lives and not there father's.
most religions need to stop, especially christianity and christianity based religions, and definately islam. i guess thats impossible, humans are so stupid. notice how religion and other biproducts of ignorance such as homophobia and race related violence are ALOT more prevelant in poor and impoverished countries? thankfully more and more civilized countries are (recovering) from the disease of religion and such.
Flying planes into buildings or driving women into the center of a crowded soccer stadium to carry out a sentence of stoning to death for the crime of being raped are not exactly secular by nature. I am so sick of hearing Afgani /Canadians claiming no previous knowledge of the term "honor killings"
I do have to argue that even many religions today are outdated and totally deficient of modern common sense that ties in with the science and knowledge of today.
We wouldnt have had all those things without religion, without those who started asking the questions like; "where do we come from", "what is our place in the universe".
I'm pretty sure that we ourselves are going to be viewed as idiots, by the people of the future.
Well i dont see a need to be pessimistic on the long run. Natural selection also applies to ideas. The good one's will stay, the bad one's will be discarded over time.
We used to have shamans and forest spirits, then priests with gods, now we've entered the early stages of science, and no one knows what science will grant us in the future.
Its a slow process, but an inevitable chain of revolutionary discoveries. Unless we get wiped out like dinosaurs.
Hey muslim idiots, this is the west. If you don't like your wives and daughters becoming to western don't come here. And if you do come here, disown them, don't kill them. Your in our world now, you have to play by our rules.
This is a terrible thing that happened to more innocent people. I was torn apart mentally and emotionally by christianity as a child. Any religion that calls for the killing of any person who is not apart of that religion needs to be gone completely!!! Fuck Islam and all you Mus Mus bitch ass Muslims!!!
@AustriaRollerblading You motherfucker. Not all us Muslims are like this; the majority of us are good people. Besides, there are psycho Christians, Catholics, and ATHEISTS who go on random killing sprees all the fucking time. So sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up, and think before you fucking speak. Zift.
@ashlanbouvier yes, but this wouldn't have happened without religion, this happens ALL THE TIME in Islam and fundamentalist christian groups as well as suicide bombings, female genital mutilation and stonings. What besides religion could make people do this?
@ashlanbouvier btw Non-religous makes up the smallest demographics in prison so check that "go on random killing sprees" doesnt apply that much to us lol.
It's sharia law, my friends...people call them extremists, but they are just following what their law actually says. So what if one day all Muslims wake up and start taking their laws more seriously. Even if only 10% of them do, that's 1,000,000 people who believe this type of behavior is condonable. And that's enough people to impose that type of law into the legal system of OUR land...
...If you don't believe me, then you haven't been reading the news. There already have been a handful of cases where men who have abused or murdered their wives have tried to claim sharia law in OUR country...not cool. Not cool at all... We need to be vigilant about anything that undermines what our forefathers set in place and has caused us to be the most fruitful nation and the best model of self-governing folks in the history of mankind.
@CBMS605A Sir there is plenty of cases where people killed their wives or sister in the name of culture or religion...that is not cool....A killing is a killing...
Honorkillings,.. it happens mainly in Islamic cultures.
Even in my country, a wealthy safe nation, girls get set on fire, stabbed and cut up in pieces to hide body parts.
Islamists tend to isolate themselves from the society they live in, they act in the dark, outside of the eye from non-islamists.
But its always the same shit. A foreign girl, percieved to be too westernized, cause she likes pretty clothes and let her hair uncovered, so they kill her.
I would like to see the Canadian court transcript. The evidence had to be over whelming to convict all those defendants. Is there somewhere I can see more abt the trial ?
Just thiz morning i just read this "afghan woman killed for giving birth to a girl." The husband apparently wanted a boy so he strangled his wife. Coincidence? I think not.
Just thought I'd clarify some things. Honor killings are not Islam. They may be a primitive regional idea but not Islam. My cousins in Egypt female ages 10-23 all have facebook, go on group dates, listen to music from all over the world, the youngest one loves Hannah Montana, and all of their friends are the same.(if anything they are more conservative than their friends lol) Islam is not oppression. Islam is peace. Don't get your world views from the zionist media!
@goudz23 That is because those are Muzzies that don't follow Islam to the core. As most muzzies don't. Thankfully. Otherwise everyone who follows Islam would do this kind of shit. The religion of hate & intolerance. The Jews are worse though I'll give you that. They destroy the world in furtherance of their settlement (Israel).
@Friedstuffsable the "jews" have a reason to fight look at there history of persecution... Muslims on the other hand are just stupid ignorant and hatefull ...
@Friedstuffsable If you attempt to follow any religion perfectly you are missing the point of religion. Read the Quran. Read it with the mindset that it was written to people in an area of the world plagued with pagan barbarians. If you know how God wanted people to behave 1000 years ago, it shouldn't be hard for you to figure out how you should behave in our time period. Islam isn't about perfection, it's about peace, equality and passion for learning.
@Friedstuffsable Written in a time when non Muslims were destroying human rights. Sort of like they still are. Besides it says to kill only in defense of your religion. No where in the Quran does it say to run around the world with a gun shooting everyone who isn't Muslim. You realize that the media literally cums in their pants every time they get a chance to associate one crazy with all Muslims. Why do you think this is? Can you say scape-goat?
I expect this from Americans, I mean I've seen it all my life, but north of the border? Come on Canada, we expect you to hold yourself to a higher standard.
This is what the Jews and Christians are up against...don't blame them for wanting to keep them out. Especially those Afghan men, bunch of cowards attacking women.
The Family immigrated to Canada from Afghanistan in 2007. I have no problem with that, but if you decide to live in Canada certain laws will be upheld despite any cultural background you might bring here, from there.
In Canada this is murder, Honor Killings, if this is what that was, is not acceptable here. Go back if you can't abide by Canadian Laws. Canadians are very tolerant of different cultures, but we do not accept this one.
Thank You :) Sometimes I feel like I'm all alone by having no problem with different cultures entering Canada. I celebrate them all, but some behaviors are not acceptable.
There needs to be a common Canadian experience that others must abide by with or the can go home and take their money. That includes the US.
The media is controlled by the same people who exploit your children-you have been warned HENRY FORD has documented this 锡安的协议 錫安的協議 بروتوكولات صهيون सिय्योन की प्रोटोकॉल シオンのプロトコール 시온의 프로토콜 پروتکل صهیون سییون کے پروٹوکول
Honour crime? Nothing honourable about it. Shameful! Canada has unfortunately had several of these but we need to, like this ruling, keep sending the message that there's absolutely, under no circumstances, any place for it in this society. We believe in women having the right to their lives, to be autonomous, and, yes, to date the men they choose!
Honor killing, temporary marriage, where did they originate from? You guessed it. Now see how many countries practice this before you tell me it is isolated.
The girls used the internet, had boyfriends, and didn't dress appropriately (no burqa), big deal. Daddy could Not control them or his ex-wife. And his next family he could control to do his dirty deeds.
I do not see why it is such a 'shocking' case, it is another murder made by twisted people with insane concepts about how the world should be. It is hard to say if their version of Islam caused it, or a mental issue or something else. Beyond that. I am glad someone has the courage to speak out and call the act what it is, Twisted.
@Haseeb2 A man is told redheads are evil and will kill him from birth. He kills red heads as he believes they are evil. The story, the myth is a possible motive. As in this case, unless they are insane, then there is another cause. The most damning thing, is there are other cases that happened under similar circumstances in the same culture. If you cross out that possibility, then you are removing a possible motive.
bunch of media liars twists the news so differently. The family is not from Toronto but Montreal. imagine those who are not fully aware of the story. Whatever media will say people will believe... so sad!
There are some regions of the world that have not crawled out of the Middle Ages, and Canada has been opening its doors to these folks for three decades. Sometimes the newcomers adjust to Anglo-French culture, treated water, plumbing, paved streets, cumpulsory schooling, the liberation of women, & English Common Law---but some "New Canadians" don't. We will see how this works out, as some urban neighborhoods will ghetto-ize, and traditional Canadians will simply move to the outer suburbs.
what is wrong with you people?? as if a white/black/yellow/whatever man/woman has never killed any of hes/her loved ones for similar reasons. this shit happens all day everyday everywhere in the world. its an isolated incident with a handful of people yet you judgmental pricks feel the need to point fingers say disgusting shit about their religion and culture (which is not the same thing btw) fuck you people and the logic you go by.
@CommonSense0695 - Sure "killings" happen all the time. However, "killings as a matter of justifiable practice within a culture" does not happen every day, everywhere in the world. Get off of your high horse and think a little before spouting off and trying to look like the uber just among us.
@CommonSense0695 Culture and religion are strands of the same rope. Islam should have prevented cultural barbarity or else the culture should have prevented Islamic barbarity, but culture and religion in this case prove dysfunctional. Western culture does not permit Mormons the multiple wives they had in the past, nor the sacrifice of animals some religions practice. Non-Islamic spousal murders in the West occur for matters far more serious that those described in this case.
If it was such an "honor" killing, then why try and stage it as an accident?
I don't blame Islam for this. There are millions of Muslims who wouldn't have killed these women. These are three psychotic individuals who should be punished as such.
Your right, its more a cultural phenomenon. But if there was no Islam, nobody would feel a need to do such a thing at all in the first place, or any of the other crazy shit that happens in the Muslim world.
No religion holds truth, it only justifies irrational beliefs that lowers the quality of life.
No one only gets the good stuff, you always get a big turd on top of your icecream, and you gotta eat it whole, or your not fully commited acc. to fellow believers.
@Kaandorpius Crazy shit happens in all religions, races, ethnic groups, social statuses, countries, etc, etc... You can't pinpoint Islam as the cause for people to do heinous crimes. In this day and age, in the country they were living in, under the laws they were supposed to follow, they knew killing them was wrong. That's why they tried to make it seem like an accident. Islam isn't the problem, nor is other religions. The problem is people who commit these acts in the name of them.
Religion as for many non-theological ideologies are the problem. And yes, they all use their beliefs to cover their deeds.
You can pose, like many ideologies, that people are the problem, but thats not true. Its not the nature of man, its all that shit in their heads, wich are held as justifications for their actions and rational.
They believed killing was right, but they knew their society would not accept it, so thats why they made it look like an accident.
@Kaandorpius Spoken like a true atheist. But what do you blame it on when an atheist commits an act like this? My point is that even though their religion was the reason they claimed they did it, knowing that it was wrong is the fault all their own. I grew up a christian, but it was up to me to determine what was right and wrong in the faith. They knew they were doing wrong, that's why they tried to cover it up. Religion was just a reason, not the killer.
With atheists you cannot blame it on a religion, you have too look at the situation individually since there is no general thoughtsystem in place.
If you believe according to a faith wich dictates whats right and whats wrong, how can they know better if they believe in something wich is wrong on its own already?
Religion reasons to kill according to its laws and beliefs, the killer just a follower of those laws and beliefs, like killing to preserve family honor.
@Kaandorpius Well then if that's the case, then why don't we let them go free and arrest the head of their faith instead? Since it's not their fault and all, it's just what they believe in.
Some people take the extremes of their religion, or even misinterpret the teachings all together, and become extremists. The same could be said for atheists who "religiously" hate on religions and fight them tooth and nail.
Put the blame where it belongs, on the individual and not the concept.
It maybe not their fault for being indoctrinated with religious shit, that does not mean they should not take responsibility for their actions, and that does not mean they should not take responsibility for exercising their beliefs.
"atheists who "religiously" hate on religions"
Thats the dumbest attempt to label active atheism, by portraiting it as "religious". There is no atheist bible, there is no atheist church, to say otherwise is false.
No ofcourse not, religion hasnt killed anyone ever... it just seems that way. Not to mention every major religions has laws and deathpenalties, but thats just for the fun of it, cause it makes interesting reading. Especially for non-believers, wether you believe in something else, not at all.
If there is a god, and he gave you a brain, why are you not fucking using it?
@Kaandorpius Insults? OK, well you're the dumbfuck who wants to blame a whole faith for the murderous acts of a few. And I was using "religiously" as a way to describe how some fucktarded atheists, such as yourself, act. I didn't say it to mean it was a religion, only that you morons resemble a religious devoutness towards it. Can you understand that, or do I need to ask God to grant you a brain to get it?
I understand you perfectly, but your just plain fucking wrong, and i got no hope whatsoever your gonne convince me otherwise, or me being able to convince you.
You already decided and pinned down your worldview, and your not gonna change it, so to go on further is pretty much futile. I'm sure you agree with that last part wich is the bottomline.
@Kaandorpius Not gonna watch your video cuz really I don't give a shit how you feel about anything or your point in general. For someone to say "your just plain fucking wrong" when talking about this kind of subject matter shows how truly ignorant you are. I understand you blame religion, ok good for you. I never said religion wasn't the cause of the killings. What I was contesting was the blaming of the religion itself instead of the people who committed murder in the name of it.
"Not gonna watch your video cuz really I don't give a shit how you feel about anything or your point in general. "
Oh i realised that very quickly, though i secretly hoped you we're gonna watch it anyway. But yeah, as i pointed out already prior to this message, you dont give a crap about what others think, cause you are only am interested in making your own point, wich is a sad state of mind, rather pathetic actually.
@Kaandorpius Pathetic? Really? You are the one who replied to me first trying to prove your point to me, hoping dearly that I would change my mind and see it your way. Then, when that doesn't happen, you move on to insults because that's how your childish mentality deals with rejection, obviously.
And just to be clear, I do actually care what others think. That's why I don't blindly attack religions. It's their life to lead. I just don't care what you think.
@Kaandorpius Most Muslims, and I know many, are good decent people. However, there are those, for example those who live in Islamic countries, or 9unfortunately) live in the west, that have been brainwashed by a more radical view of Islam. And that's the problem. God doesn't talk to them, they have to get their understanding of Islam from their environment (Imams, family members, etc)...
I dont believe in evil, so i dont consider any sincere religious follower as evil. I do believe in ignorance, and that ignorance leads to many harmful practices wich are often labeled as evil.
Myself i have labeled as an amateur cult researcher, from religion to politics to environmental activism etc.
I dont believe in truth, or any percieved reality, but i am a proponent of what i call the "practical illusion". And i think thats key in creating a better world.
@Kaa. Evil is a term given to the thoughts and/or behaviors we find distasteful (even though we all experience them to some degree),and it seems to vary depending on the culture.I disagree with you on the environment, the science is pretty strong for global warming, how much is anthropic is still debatable I suppose.Scientific truth depends on the model you use to view 'reality'.What Hawking calls 'model-dependent realism'. Our reality is created by our brains, our own 'biological matrix'.
To call something evil, is to ignore the state of mind under wich the subject is labeled. Its nature is subjective to one's reference of knowledge, wich is also subject to the limits of our perception and ability to reason, everything up to one's current potentional and beyond that is our natural state of ignorance.
Whats considered good and wholesome by one person, can be considered evil and dangerous to another.
I guess we stand different on the subject of global warming, i already have established myself as a total conspiratiorial nutcase, lol. No i wasn't just reffering to global warming, there are many environmental movements who base themselves on real world issues, but that does not exclude the fact their ideology can go beyond rational when it comes certain philosophical aspects, means of activism, recruitment and social control.
@Kaandorpius Don't let your conspiratorial disposition get the better of you. My beliefs regarding global warming are based solely on the science. However, I'm interested in other subjects, that to others might seem 'out there'. For example, I'm very interested in the subject of UFOs. Here's a 'conspiratorial joke' for you: How do we know that 9/11 wasn't an inside job? It worked...
I wont, i have seen to much myself to know what people are capable off.
Its funny though, i started out with doing research on the Watchtower society, and when i explain to outsiders its a cult and they systematically manipulate their people, everyone seems to agree. But no, when it comes their own governmental leaders, they respond with the exact same disbelief and disgust to those claims as the followers of the Watchtower society did.
Lol, i dont know any good conspiracy joke's now i'm thinking about it.
I like curious subjects too, i think its interesting, but am not really sure what to think about it. I'm more a statistical believer of aliens pure based on probability however unlikely it may seem. Not really into abductions and that kind of stuff. Too many fruitcakes with bad hypnotic sessions and waking lucid dreams.
But thats how explain it according to my reference of knowledge.
@Ka... "Too many fruitcakes with bad hypnotic sessions" Are you reffering to the Budd Hopkins and John Mack's of the world?I too believe that it's highly likely that there are forms of intelligent life in the cosmos. If you're interested in some really 'out there' theories regarding the field of UFOs,check out a guy by the name of jacque vallee. He's a skeptic regarding popular UFO lore. With that being said, what he presently suggests as a possible explanation for the phenomenon is quite strange.
@Kaandorpius I watched that video before. Vallee is known as a 'heretic among heretics'. What this means is that he's shunned by both the scientific community (how dare a scientist be interested in UFOs!!) and the UFO community (how dare he not support the ETH hypothesis!!). What's really difficult for me to understand is how the scientific community (some, not all) will shun those with an interest in UFOs, but will tolerate religious scientists and the crazy shit they believe.
Sometimes its more alluring to deny the masses that wich can profit the few. I think this has to do with the established religious powers of today.
I find the work from Erich von Däniken also very compelling, and i think it ties in with the idea that certain people rather not have the masses believe that we might not be alone at in the universe.
Perhaps the visitors of the past have become the gods of the present.
@ I don't see any evidence of past visitors to earth, at least not in the sense that Von Daniken states. Erich Von Daniken talks in absolutes while providing no evidence to back his claims.I had to study his 'work' for a course I did once, the guy's a bit of a joke if you ask me.Von Daniken's conclusions regarding things like the pyramids, statues of Easter Island or the Peri Reis maps are laughably bad, mate. He's definitely 'Art Bell material' (however, I do listen to the program occasionally).
No not evidence, all we have left are stories and perhaps some artifacts wich are subject to interpretation. And yeah the stuff about the pyramids and easter island is nice for movies like Stargate and such.
But his initial idea of physical extraterrestrial visitors being the sources for the ancient myths of spiritual gods, i find it a very intriguing idea. There are many cultures who speak of tales in a simular fashion wich seem to be more then just coincidental.
That's Vallee hypothesis,he believes that the data suggests that some form of 'intelligence';not the 'nuts and bolts' idea of spaceships,(not that they would use nut and bolts of course,it's a metaphor for 'physical crafts'),but rather some form of intelligence, possibly from another dimension has been manipulating the course of social development.Although modern physics supports the possibility of other dimensions, there's no evidence for his claims.Something that he freely admits.
Well i agree the idea of extraterrestrial entities wich perhaps also could be extradimensional (i'm no quantum physicist), have been influencing us in the past is a very plausible idea to me. As to modern day visitations and influences i am not so confident about.
Maybe on Dec 12, we're gonna find out, lol.
Vallee does have a decent analytical perspective on things, i like that alot. I see he's not attempting to bullshit people.
@Kaandorpius I don't place much faith on the Mayan calendar (2012). I mean, if they had real powers of prognostication, one would think that they would have been able to predict the destruction of their culture (indeed the Mesoamerica culture in general), by the arrival of the Spanish. And as for Nibiru, well... We won't go there. It's too bad that there wasn't a planet close by, one that was inhabitable. If there was such a planet we could stick all these crazy religious motherfuckers on it.
lol, neither do i, though i find this 2012 phenomenon interesting to see people go out of their minds expecting the world to be obliterated. I'm thinking about dressing up as an alien and go around knocking on peoples door's
You know putting a condom on your head, blowing it up, spraypainting it silver and pretend to be an evil alien grey. lol

most religions need to stop, especially christianity and christianity based religions, and definately islam. i guess thats impossible, humans are so stupid. notice how religion and other biproducts of ignorance such as homophobia and race related violence are ALOT more prevelant in poor and impoverished countries? thankfully more and more civilized countries are (recovering) from the disease of religion and such.

Flying planes into buildings or driving women into the center of a crowded soccer stadium to carry out a sentence of stoning to death for the crime of being raped are not exactly secular by nature. I am so sick of hearing Afgani /Canadians claiming no previous knowledge of the term "honor killings"

RELIGIONS SHOULD NOT EXISTS. THEY ARE JUST A PIECE OF FUCK
GeekFreakTutorials 3 weeks ago 3
@GeekFreakTutorials

CBMS605A 3 weeks ago
...If you don't believe me, then you haven't been reading the news.

Don't get your world views from the zionist media!
goudz23 3 weeks ago
@goudz23 That is because those are Muzzies that don't follow Islam to the core. As most muzzies don't. Thankfully. Otherwise everyone who follows Islam would do this kind of shit. blackriflex39 3 weeks ago

Besides it says to kill only in defense of your religion. jacewolf301 3 weeks ago
@jacewolf301 It has nothing to do with Islam. There is no "honor" in killing a family member for any reason.
Haseeb2 3 weeks ago
@Haseeb2 A man is told redheads are evil and will kill him from birth. He kills red heads as he believes they are evil. The story, the myth is a possible motive. As in this case, unless they are insane, then there is another cause. The most damning thing, is there are other cases that happened under similar circumstances in the same culture. If you cross out that possibility, then you are removing a possible motive.

CommonSense0695 3 weeks ago
@CommonSense0695 - Sure "killings" happen all the time. However, "killings as a matter of justifiable practice within a culture" does not happen every day, everywhere in the world. Get off of your high horse and think a little before spouting off and trying to look like the uber just among us.
BigMTBrain 3 weeks ago
@CommonSense0695 Culture and religion are strands of the same rope. Islam should have prevented cultural barbarity or else the culture should have prevented Islamic barbarity, but culture and religion in this case prove dysfunctional. Western culture does not permit Mormons the multiple wives they had in the past, nor the sacrifice of animals some religions practice. Non-Islamic spousal murders in the West occur for matters far more serious that those described in this case.
grubelsucht 3 weeks ago

@Kaandorpius Crazy shit happens in all religions, races, ethnic groups, social statuses, countries, etc, etc... You can't pinpoint Islam as the cause for people to do heinous crimes. In this day and age, in the country they were living in, under the laws they were supposed to follow, they knew killing them was wrong. That's why they tried to make it seem like an accident. Islam isn't the problem, nor is other religions. The problem is people who commit these acts in the name of them.
2stepninja 3 weeks ago
@2stepninja
Kaandorpius 3 weeks ago
@Kaandorpius Spoken like a true atheist. But what do you blame it on when an atheist commits an act like this? My point is that even though their religion was the reason they claimed they did it, knowing that it was wrong is the fault all their own. I grew up a christian, but it was up to me to determine what was right and wrong in the faith. They knew they were doing wrong, that's why they tried to cover it up. Religion was just a reason, not the killer.
2stepninja 3 weeks ago
@2stepninja
Kaandorpius 3 weeks ago
@Kaandorpius Well then if that's the case, then why don't we let them go free and arrest the head of their faith instead? Since it's not their fault and all, it's just what they believe in.
Some people take the extremes of their religion, or even misinterpret the teachings all together, and become extremists. The same could be said for atheists who "religiously" hate on religions and fight them tooth and nail.
Put the blame where it belongs, on the individual and not the concept.
2stepninja 3 weeks ago
@2stepninja
Your totally backwards.
Kaandorpius 3 weeks ago
@2stepninja
"Religion was just a reason, not the killer. "
No ofcourse not, religion hasnt killed anyone ever... it just seems that way. Not to mention every major religions has laws and deathpenalties, but thats just for the fun of it, cause it makes interesting reading. Especially for non-believers, wether you believe in something else, not at all.

Kaandorpius 3 weeks ago
Our reality is created by our brains, our own 'biological matrix'.
pillsareyummy 3 weeks ago
@pillsareyummy
Never heard if MDR, i'll have to look into that.

But thats a whole diff subject.
Kaandorpius 3 weeks ago

What's really difficult for me to understand is how the scientific community (some, not all) will shun those with an interest in UFOs, but will tolerate religious scientists and the crazy shit they believe.

Scientia potentia est.
Kaandorpius 3 weeks ago

No not evidence, all we have left are stories and perhaps some artifacts wich are subject to interpretation. And yeah the stuff about the pyramids and easter island is nice for movies like Stargate and such.
But his initial idea of physical extraterrestrial visitors being the sources for the ancient myths of spiritual gods, i find it a very intriguing idea. There are many cultures who speak of tales in a simular fashion wich seem to be more then just coincidental.

That's Vallee hypothesis,he believes that the data suggests that some form of 'intelligence';not the 'nuts and bolts' idea of spaceships,(not that they would use nut and bolts of course,it's a metaphor for 'physical crafts'),but rather some form of intelligence, possibly from another dimension has been manipulating the course of social development.Although modern physics supports the possibility of other dimensions, there's no evidence for his claims.Something that he freely admits.

nuts and bolts ufo's lol.

You know putting a condom on your head, blowing it up, spraypainting it silver and pretend to be an evil alien grey. lol
