  • Nice video! You should do a scanner review or tutorial... Just a thought. ;-)

  • @2sam10 Thanks! Hmmmm. Like, a fire department scanner?

  • @computeruser2011 Sure! Or maybe a police scanner. Either works! :D

  • @2sam10 Not a bad idea. Thanks!

  • N__N!

  • Thanks mate!!!

  • @noiso No problem. Thanks for watching and commenting. :)

  • Thanks, just fitted a new keyboard following your instructions 10 out of 10!!!!

  • @jwpeachey No problem. Thanks for watching!!!

  • I have broken the black keyboard ribbon connector. Do I really need a new keyboard?

  • @comtekcr Sorry it took so long to get back to ya. If you broke the connector, you will likely need a new motherboard. If you broek only the cable, you will need a new keyboard. Thanks for watching.

  • Can you tell me how to clean my dell inspiron 1545 mouse buttons? my little brother was eating an orange and the juice came out of it and went inside the mouse and now the buttons are all sticky. Do I have to take apart the whole laptop?

  • @GOTDATAZNBOI You might be able to pop off the buttons but I would suggest that you get a new palm rest. The new palm rest will run you around $20-$40, depending on where you buy it from. You can find the manual on the Dell website.

    Thanks for watching,

    Ryan

  • great video, glad I saw it before I started to undo all the screws out the back ha ha.

    Fair play to you bud.

  • @helinz I appreciate the comment. Thanks. :)

  • can you remove the keys individually and clean them? or do i have to take the whole thing out?

  • @MrIsuckatCOD Yes, you can remove the keys individually, but it will be more difficult than taking the whole keyboard out.

    Thanks, Ryan

  • @computeruser2011 whats the trick to put them back in? i cant figure it out. -_-

  • @MrIsuckatCOD Well, you have to put the white clip back in the little holes. Then you just push down on the key. It took me a bit to figure it out.

  • @computeruser2011 ok thanks man

  • @MrIsuckatCOD Yep, no problem. Glad I could help.

  • do i have to use force at 1:20??? ... cause i don't want to break it, and it seems pretty hard to pull of? ... or its just the two screws that hold it?? cause i didn't take them off

  • @MrDeivi1994 Yes, you do have to use a little bit of force. To take of the bezel, all you have to do is put a flat screwdriver in the little slot and pop it off. When it's time to put it back on, just push it back on and it will snap back in.

    Thanks, Ryan

  • Wow,... I really can't THANK YOU enough for this AWESOME video!!! Thanks to you, if took me less than 5 minutes to to replace a keyboard that had been driving me crazy for several months... I appreciate it so much!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! :-)

  • @sherribabe No problem. Glad I could help. If you need help with anything else of have a video request, feel free to ask me. Thanks.

  • @computeruser2011 yeah bro like when i start my compute the letter "r " keeps coming on like it continues like this>> rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.Earlier i went ahead and took off the keyboard off my laptop as you said and turned it on and it didnt do it.im guessing the " r " is stuck?

  • @LilWizardVHR First of all, do you still have the warranty? If you do you should be able to get a new keyboard for free. If you don't, I suggest that you look on amazon and eBay. You could also do a Google search. But whatever you do don't buy it from dell.com. There replacement parts there are overpriced. Let me know what happens after you install the new one. Thank You.

  • i have a question bro ? when i start up my laptop i think the letter R keeps popping up should i change the keybored is this the problem? and how much does it cost? i got the same laptop as yours

  • @LilWizardVHR I'd be happy to answer your question after i get a few details. When you mean popping up, do you mean that if you press it it sticks and then pops up?

After you answer that question I should be able to help you. I am looking forward to your response. Thank You.

  • Well I promised an update and I will surely deliver. Thanks again for the video, it helped a ton. I have very high hopes for myself now thanks to you lol. I won't break anything expensive of mine by trying to take it apart and play bob the builder.

  • @CCTheAce22 Thanks, I appreciate it. That's how I figure stuff out, I take them apart. And then I can make a video and show people how to take them apart properly without breaking the item.

  • @CCTheAce22 If you have any requests for future videos, I will certainly do them if I have the item. Thanks.

  • This is a great video. You really took your time to show everything. I shall write another comment letting you know how everything went. I'm more than confident that I will be ok. Thanks for taking the time to make this. For your first video, two thumbs up.

  • @CCTheAce22 Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it. I will be looking forward to your future comment.

  • Hi.. I'm a retired teacher.. and want you to know.. you did a A+ JOB on showing this process. Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future :-)
