  • You hit the nail right on the head man. This isn't the first time the Wings have been screwed. It happened again a week later Nov. 27th against CGY(Cleary called for Goalie INT); Take you back to May 5th in Game 3 vs ANA, Hossa goal(quick whistle); 2-29-08 vs. SJ(Goal after puck hit netting); 2-10-08 vs. ANA(Holmstrom Goalie INT); 5-15-08 vs. DAL Datsyuk Goal (Holmstrom Goalie INT); that's six times that I can recall. It's really disappointing. There's replay for one reason..to get calls right.

  • Took the words RIGHT out of my mouth, and then some... Great video :D

  • lilbuddworld for comissioner

  • Great video, you have a good sense of humor. Awesome poster. I'm a big Red Wings fan, and my jaw just dropped when no goal was called. Completely and utterly ridiculous.

  • the rule stinks... thats all there is to it...

  • Loved the video. You're a funny guy. I'm a Stars fan. I don't like the Wings, never have, but the play should have been a goal. No one can say it wasn't.

Kaleidoscope! LOL! They stop the game just to look at pretty shapes and colors!

Also, nice picture of Osbad. I'll be looking forward to the next video.

  • Thanks! Yea I dont know it just comes out haha... I like the Stars, one of my favorite western conf. teams.. but I don't know if we should start comparing goaltenders now LoL :D jk

  • I don't like Detroit I like the sabres but the thing is the refs are crap. Like the no goal in 99' Stanley Cup playoffs Buffalo VS Dallas and Sabres lost because of the crease rule even though it was allowed its b.s. the refs need to be replaced

  • Actually, it was a legit goal, the time people thought he "lost the puck" and then had no right to be in the crease, the puck really went from his stick to his feet, and if the puck is at your feet it counts as posession, which I can easily understand, and does make since, so the entire time he was in the crease he legally had the puck, whether it was at his feet or stick.

  • @judopuns ...I'm confused as to who was in the crease and when the puck was at someone's feet? This video was commenting on a shot from outside the crease more towards the faceoff cirle. This was a straight shot to the goal not a scramble in front so I guess I'm just confused by your mentioning of the crease. Care to elaborate?

  • @lilbuddworld I honestly have no Idea how this comment got on this video, i believe it was a response to a different video

  • Appreciate the feedback guys keep it coming!

  • Oh Yea no matter what your team is Im sure everyone can come up with a time when the refs have just flat out screwed them dry. Its saddening what is happening to the sport.

  • Awesome vid, awesome poster, go Wings

  • Thanks! I've had that poster for 10 years Im surprised its still in one piece!

  • Hey man.

You've got a good video here.

My only suggestion to get more people watching and staying is to shorten ur videos a bit. Before you do your video write down what your going to say and when you'll say it and try to keep it under 6 minutes.

As far as the the actual topic goes. I'll be honest Im not a Detroit fan, Im more of a rival. But that call even left me with deep sympathy for any detroit fan. Disgusting call.

  • I always shoot for between 5 and 7 minutes and i never make it but I do agree shorter would be better. I may just have to talk faster, HaHa!

Yes horrible call and it wasn't the first of the night for either team.

  • Hey Guys, just posted a video about the whole Fedorov saying the Red Wings were jealous thing. Be sure to check it out if ya got the time!

  • Shadytnu24, I absolutely agree they should of never taken the goal judges out of the picture. Another example of how Bettman, by all these little things he does here and there, is killing the game.

  • you guys are missing the point...I agree that the intent to blow the whistle is garbage, but the real issue here is Bettman removed the off-ice officials whose job was to help the referees in these situations...the goal judges. remember those guys? used to sit on the glass right behind the net in black blazers with the NHL shield on them and turn the red light on? in the 2006-07 season, he removed them from the glass. Unless they are replaced, this will continue to happen in the future.

  • @shadytnu24 ....I absolutely agree! Taking away the goal judges was one of the dumbest things ever done. Their only job was to stare at the net and watch for the puck to go in, it makes so much sense. I just don't understand Mr. Bettman sometimes.

  • Were there a reason for the ref to blow, and he had... dropped his whistle or something. OK... But as you are saying, he had to intend to blow about when the shot was shot.

Lets see if Brad Mays stick is above the crossbar when he hits the puck. Hmm, no...

  • Exactly, even if the intent was there it still doesn't matter because it was a goal. We're not disputing whether a puck was covered or not this is a goal. But like you said, its pathetic.

  • Right on man....here's the burn, if they "intended" to blow the whistle, and then the replay shows that it was a goal anyway, than it doesn't matter if they intended to blow the whistle anymore because the replay shows that they shouldn't have blown it even if they intended to. Its Pathetic, its Bullshit and if the NHL doesn't change this by next season, I'm done watching my favorite game.

  • shut the fck up.... ref are pathetic yes.... but dont say ull stop watching hockey bc of this rule? get a life
