Actually, Marilyn Manson is a Satanist, but he follows LaVeyan Satanism. In his autobiography, The Long Hard Road out of Hell, Manson talks about his relationship with Anton Lavey who founded the Church of Satanism and his honorary priesthood in LaVey's black church. I highly recommend to any MM fan who hasn't read his autobiography to read it as it is a masterpiece and amongst other things, talks of LaVeyan Satanism and its influence on him and the making of the Antichrist Superstar album.
