Met Mr Robertson at least three times in Oklahoma City. He was very courteous and polite. He would always talk of his times in the old days and of his meeting Will Rogers Jr. He made his fortune, and lost it, several times, but never lost his true roots.
Thanks for posting this Matthias. Heres hoping the thirty minute episodes get released on dvd real soon. I am just about old enough to remember this but I really was not aware it was this good. Dale is one of my favourite tv cowboys. Does anyone know if he was as warm a person in real life as he seems to come across on the small screen? Bless you for sharing Matthias.
Thanks for this video. Tales of Wells Fargo was my favorite show in the 1950s. I always watched it at 9PM on Mondays. Brought back lots of memories. Dale Robertson is a gentleman and a great actor.
