  • Ladytron should make the cover of this

  • love the dude in the mask halfway thru

  • wuh

  • hole are a cool band too guys

  • theme from Dougie Howsier MD LMAO! Or the sample =P

  • this is actually my favorite version. perfect

  • This is so romantic!

  • RIP Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson

  • one of the 3 very first cassettes i stole from my p.i.t.a. brother back in 1984, (fripps league of the gentleman and foxx the garden, the other 2)

  • I love you too with all my heart and soul.

  • fuckin great video, never seen it before. the effects used in this video would take YEARS to filter into the mainstream. it's hard to comprehend just how far-out this stuff was in 1982 unless you were there. the dub is the version i play of "October..."

  • This tune is really hard to find on vinyl and CD....

  • @loonmaniac i would imagine that would be one lucky find

  • This sounds really similar to TG's "United"

  • This was the only song I liked by these guys. They used to play it on the MOD stations during the 80's. Chris and Cosey and then they had Anne Clark on their who had a similar music style. Kind of like reciting poetry to music. It was a trip. Anne Clark had the song Hope Road.

  • dead good repeat repeat why is there no piggin auto repeat button on this thing

  • love

  • I am so in love with this song!

  • love them

  • beware the s&m wolfmaaaaaaan!!!!!

  • this is fuckin insaaaaane

  • Oh the nostalgia. =)

  • bubbley, goofy, funny. i like it

  • you see a lot of C&C influences in today's artists like Ladytron, Miss Kitten, etc.

I saw them in concert and was amazing!!!!

  • It sucks that they have been ripped off ..

    Miss Kitten / German / french ....

Total chris and cosey rip off plus 25 years into the future .

nothing beats this track or the artists .

  • HAPPY OCTOBER

  • Anti...thanks for the post

Never Saw TG live but caught C&C.....thanks for the memory!

  • c&c really were a ground-breaking duo, in fact no one ever sounded like them before or since they emerged from TG. chris is such an electronic innovator and cosey's dissonant vocal (she can't be said to have a 'classic' singing voice!) fit so perfectly together. can you tell i'm a fan yet?!

  • I quite like her voice actually.

Only just been exploring some of the post-TG projects, what Chris & Cosey album would you recommend? (or Carter-Tutti for that matter)

  • check out "Songs of love & lust". imho this is their very best album!

  • Musique Fantastique (C&C) sounds really gooooooooood. Even the first experiments with "3d holophonic sound"... A space-ship to NothingLand!!!!

  • These records blew me away when they came out and I still have them!

It's hard to fathom for those who weren't around yet , but this music was nothing like disco at all.

No other way to describe it , it was a reinvention, but more than that.

Hearing this after Throbbing Gristle was a big surprise , but it was great.

    Still is.

  • I knew there was a Manchester/Tony Wilson/Ian Curtis connection....so don't get shirty! Anyway-we few who can appreciate the beauty of this music shouldn't get grevious with each other! Pleased to meet you AntiMusick...

  • Throbbing Gristle...weren't they managed/produced by Hooky from New Order?...great sound, but the guy in the mask shouldn't be encountered alone in a dark alleyway...lol

  • Throbbing Gristle existed years before New Order and even Joy Division. TG released their 1st LP in 1977 when JD released their 1st LP in 1979 ... TG had 3 LPs out by the time JD had their 2nd LP released in 1980. Industrial Records was founded in 1976 when Factory Records was founded in 1978.

  • @AntiMusick Yeah... what is the link between TG and and JD and NO? There's no strong continuity between the noise/spectacle of TG and the doom rock of JD and the deep bop of NO! They probably have more in common with The Pistols.

  • @blacknganga They are all bands from England near and around the same time, Gen clamed to have known Ian, it is possible from the punk gigs from in the late 70s there.

  • @AntiMusick Oh, ok.

  • @blacknganga do you mean no? or (neu!)?

  • man, this shit is soooooooo much better than the 70's disco shit.

    i love new wave

  • I don't understand why anybody hasn't put Obsession on here. It's their BEST song.

  • It's the Doogie Howser theme!

  • haha I was thinking the same thing

  • you took my hand on the stair no-one was around you said we could be lovers i just had to say the word only the afternoons were ours the nights were full... just full of silent love.. verse... our hearts and my heart beating together, together forever, forever together.. days of october, our hearts together, beating forever, together forever... just nights of silent love.. we couldn't touch, we couldn't kiss we were promised to another now we are together just kiss me and kiss me forever
  • please where I can find a lyricsss pleasee i need this lyrics let me know, thanks :)

  • Finally i found this song for 15 years my god i can't believe.1 time i heard this great song in LIMA PERU 1992 i was 19 old . Thanks.

  • This song was from around the time when C & C were still remebering things industrial

so nice so constructed so open

    Oh what a loss

  • does any one know where i can get the lyrics to chris and cosey october love song? please let me know. thx

  • this is actually "October Love Song (remixed)" from their Take Five compilation EP

  • There

  • There is no slower version of this, I've tracked down all versions of this song on vinyl, cassette and CD.

  • This reminds me a lot of my boyfriend from my last year in high school..

  • Disappointing. If anyone has the slower version, I hope they post it here. Oh well, thanks for this, it's better than nothing.

  • this is the one and only original video.

  • I don't know about the video. I was talking about the song itself, which I just found posted by someone else. The quality isn't as good as this, but I prefer that version of the song.

  • Excelente!!!

  • amazing song i cant stop lostening to it, both sensual and romantic mmmmm

  • European Rendezvous

  • Songs of love and lust is their best album my opinion.

  • this is prob.my favorite song from them

(this video is also the best version of the

    song)Favorite album is TechnoPrimitiv-their

    most synthpop sounding LP

had NEVER seen this vid thanx for posting

  • From my point of view, their best album is Exotica. As well as Pagan Tango. Of course I love all of the rest of them.

  • Amazing song.

  • Cheryl Noel you got me hooked on this song for decades now!!!!!!!!!!

  • Que gusto escuchar esto. Genial. Canción perfecta.

    Insuperables.

  • oh dear there was always a comic side to Throbbing gristle . Synthesizers like depeche mode tongue in cheek lyrics .they could sell a million of these being funny . but they want money they just dont wanna have a hit.

  • Last week I bought their CD 'collective one'. I was searching for about 17 years to find it.

  • Listen to Rework cover of the song. It's great too!

  • i have all their records. love them!

  • Great! Love it!

  • so much sex. ahh the 80s

  • These were founders of a great style of music. I love also Collective One. The side project.

  • I bought this 7" when it was released, and it's as fantastic as when it had just come out! Just LOVELY!

  • Total Ear Candy. Love it........

  • My name is Cosey:) The called me after this great Lady! I'm al littl bit proud :D xx.! <3 C*C <3

  • I like Throbbing Gristle and :wumpscut: better

  • this is great!!!!!

i don't think that bands like these can be compared with eachother...they are all pretty unique in their own way and have contributed to the development of all electronic music in general!!!!!

C & C have always been on my top list...they have charisma!

  • great video

  • Thanks for posting this. Chris and Cosey were doing "Trance" why all the modern performers were still in nappies!

  • Not impressed. TG > anything TG-related except maybe Coil. MAYBE.

  • coil is dead, and will never been the same, if there ever is newer stuff.

  • Coil are much better really.

  • Better than C&C or Gristle?

My personal order of preference, not that anyone gives a shit, is as follows: TG>Coil>Psychic Tv>Frank & Nancy here.

Whatever floats your boat I suppose....

  • what a great discovery for me, fu*** amazing and original stuff

  • sweet, it's back

  • Heard this on Danny Rampling DJ mix cd...can't stop playing it..retro addictive pop, but SOOO MUCH COOLER!

  • First time I've seen the video. Thanks for posting. And double-thanks for not mucking-up the encoding. Looks and sounds great. Go CTI!

  • it was transferred from an original NTSC doublevision VHS tape that I purchased around 1990, and it was encoded using a lite-on VHS 2 DVD machine, and then I just took the mpeg file from the dvd copied it to the computer and edited the clip to fit and uploaded. WYSIWYG

  • Sweet song and a sweet video. Gotta love it!

  • eye lOve you*

  • Wonderful Analog Art!

    Very similar to Section 25 circa 1984 , I find ;)

  • Thankyou for posting, this promo video has never been screened in Australia. Having known one had been made way back then, I have been searching this for years. Is it commercially available anywhere to purchase on DVD?

  • Riunite commercial.

  • Throbbing cosey humor lump of sugar on a wave of pretense

Beauty eating hope for electronic nostalgia unrequited

I still believe she is out there

Barely swearing swerving staring Halle Scary Beary

  • yeah you right a song way ahead of its time..soo seductive and pure pop sensuality, fuck this new shit twenty years too fuckin late....

  • perfect pop from two amazing people.

  • She's got a beautiful voice... thanks for posting.

  • she's so pretty

  • most beautiful song ever

  • wow! genial!!

  • ABBA for the fetish-set. Good stuff.

  • She's so hot. This was one of my favorite bands. Thanks for posting them.
