OK horn, but not as shrill and penetrating as the ex Southern Nathan P5's....those were LOUD.

Dont you mean the doppler effect named after christian doppler? as the horn note frequency changes when the train passes?

Yeah it's the doppler effect. I was just at the tip of the iceburg learing about newton and I asumed that it was the law of motion.

That's actually an SD70M-2, the DC version of the SD70ACe.

SD70M-2. NS ordered SD70M-2's.
They are SD70ACe's with DC Power.

I do belive though the only railroads with true SD70ACe's ane CSX, Kansas City Southern and im not 100% sure about this last one but i think Union Pacific
and BNSF. All of those dont have SD70M-2's
UP, BNSF, CSX, and KCS.
