Not really sure as I never flew stock so have no comparison. I will say they thrust is much greater than stock which is what I really wanted, I did not install any thrust tubes just left then as they came. This setup is 1:1 thrust to weight with that big 3S 5000 lipo and stock thrust is much less than that so for me that was the big gain. You can point the nose up and add power so it will climb nicely without falling off..
@rockonmyfriend .. it comes stock with 3950KV motors according to BH techsupport LOL yeah no more need be said...they dont last long either..unless somethings really changed the stock setup was weak, now if someone else has a newer j-power from some other source pls clue me in on where to get it...I plan on getting just the airframe and adding electric retracts my own wicked motors and my own electronics...DJ
