As soon as you have any form of government, you will NEVER (and I mean never) find anything approaching close to a free market economy (i.e. what you have is a system of political economy).
From there, two things can happen - it can either work for an unelected clique of Wall Street financiers OR it can work for the people (see George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Alexander Hamilton, the American System of Economics). It's a constant struggle.
In short, government is not the enemy (at least not directly). And sure, it's not perfect BUT it's all we have standing between us and Wall Street.
The point I was trying to make is corporate America wants selective deregulation. They have no problem with regulations that make them money and spend a lot of money to lobby for those types of regulations. In my youtube clique people are trying to confuse deregulation with free markets and they are not the same. I decided to address this in videos.

And who is the market? The market is Paulson, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, David Rockefeller - those are the people who will dominate the market! The underlying free market economics is all about speculating with land value that creates a bubble that bursts on average about every 18 years and triggers financial recessions depending on how much banks and other financial institutions are involved in the speculation. This time the private financial sector with government compliance has set us up to create a monstrous collapse. Well he would (and has) argued that the problem was caused by government interference in the free market system by the government(starting with Clinton) forcing the banks to give mortgages to people who couldn't afford them.
The Republicans(apparently) attempted to stop this throughout the nineties but were always overruled by the democrats. Hence the disaster, or that's the way Peter Schiff looks at it.

Forced vaccinations is a tough one.
I can see the human rights implications, and over bearing government, but I can also see the dead children scenario, from preventable disease. So I'm ambiguous on that one.

Deregulation is not the same thing as free market. Corporations would scream if we had a free market. Can you imagine the pharmaceutical and insurance companies trying to compete in a free market? They want protectionist policies that protect them in certain ways but don't hinder them in certain ways. The clean skies act was written by an Enron lobbyist and it does not completely deregulate. It just protects their profits from coal fired power plants.

Deregulation (the removal of government controls from an industry or sector) aims to allow for a "free" and supposedly efficient marketplace to exist (see rent-gauging Viennese landlords, central banks, derivatives, monopolies, oligopolies and so on).
As soon as you have any form of government, you will NEVER (and I mean never) find anything approaching close to a free market economy (i.e. what you have is a system of political economy).

From there, two things can happen - it can either work for an unelected clique of Wall Street financiers OR it can work for the people (see George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Alexander Hamilton, the American System of Economics). It's a constant struggle.

The point I was trying to make is corporate America wants selective deregulation. They have no problem with regulations that make them money and spend a lot of money to lobby for those types of regulations. In my youtube clique people are trying to confuse deregulation with free markets and they are not the same. I decided to address this in videos.
