Quel piano forte mi fa venire i complessi d'inferiorità, è così bello e pregiato che merita di essere suonato solo da grandi maestri, e tu lo suoni magnificamente!
I have always considered, the piano should evolved. If scientific techniques allow to build devices of spacial age, Why not thinking in a piano of XXI with polymer materials and a special harmonic box with logarithmic and polynomial curves?
Sorry my mistake!! This piano doesn't have any change in particular. I have seen the harmonic box and it the same box of a normal piano, just the modern casing.. so dissapointed!! I expect deep changes in its structures. :(
Yes!! hahaha!! I think is the most closer opinion :) was designed for Jetson family. The harmonic box is the principal case of piano and also have in its interior different surfaces for improve sound quality.
The Pressence he conveys in this piece is breathtaking The compassion is he showing to this beautiful piece is almost painful to oneself. This is what i get commenting while listening to the song at the same time i guess.
looks more like a sports car design i bet it is worth a bit though i teach piano proffetionaly and this is a lovely sounding piano but i would not buy it i prefer my stineway grand but very inventive
this recording doesn't do the instruments justice. the first time i sat at a fazioli, and every time since, the sound of even one note made me smile. the sound and the personality of the response are magical. I'd encourage everyone to spend some time with at least one fazioli. they (all of them, even the 5 foot instruments) are truly exquisite.
I love the design! My only negative thoughts are that the flowing aerodynamic shape is only on the right side of the piano so when you go to the left side you expect to see the same thing but you don't. Or perhaps the shape on the right side droops too low and that is a bit awkward when seen from the other side. But anyway I love it, its like the Ferrari of pianos! More creative and appealing then some other "new-age" designs I've seen. Unfortunately Fazioli's are readily found in Canada?
Perhaps you have another edition, but Stefan Cassar plays the right paryition with the right notes and the the right repeat. In fact there are some editions.
In fact it seems, upon checking, as if he plays the Autographe version, dated Paris 1848 allthough he dimisses the repeat of the majore section and in the last da capo section does the repeat again. The result is not perfect but who cares if the purpose was to chowcase the instrument?
i adore grand pianos.... but im in 2 minds... i dont know if its the most hidious thing i've ever seen or if its the most beautiful thing i've ever seen...
What's the big deal with Faziolis? They don't come close to the beauty of sound you get on old Steinways. The supposed new 'technology' is bullshit. They knew far better 50 years ago.
I have heard THIS and it sounds pretty ordinary to me with a rather shallow, neutral tone-quality. Go and listen to some recordings on older Steinways instead of making cheap insults. The depth and character of sound on older pianos is way beyond this instrument. This piano has no special character. Perhaps you would care to detail the positives over older Steinways, if your hearing is so fine?
Wow, that piano is AMAZING! Looks like something from the future. Definitely modern. But I prefer the old classical look of a piano. But still I appreciate this piano. Faziolis sound amazing as well!

THE PIANO IS OK, I GUESS..
But the pianist here plays with an incredible sing tone. I have heard him before.
It is HIS playing that makes this piano, not its appearance. I wish I could play even 1/3rd as well as he.

I think you can hear the beauty of an instrument from the single notes you hear in this piece. The sound quality is almost liquid.

Interesting design. Any reason why this pianist can't play what Chopin wrote? Added notes, an extra repeat? That's just not right.
