  • I know how to solve the Rubik's cube, but this is the most terrible tutorial I've ever seen. Slow down - try to see through the eyes of your audience - they don't know how to solve a Rubik's cube, nor keep up with your fast moves.

  • Uh what is the easiest cube for a begginer like me and uh imma only fimiliar with a revolution

  • @ProGamerSince2010 a 1x1 :D

    but if you're serious its a 2x2

  • wow u have 1x1 rubik's cube i solve that not even a second

  • do long fingers help with solving the rubiks cube and other twisty puzzels

  • If you still can't solve it, watch this guide: /watch?v=MaltgJGz-dU&list=FLCOWaPBdxinLFqoc5-l05Cg&feature=mh_lolz

It doesnt have alot of views, but the guide is really good and it helped me to learn solve it.

  • USE FUCKING NOTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • what if there switched?

  • so....do yo make the cross then do the f2l method?

  • @Erdos2n yes, there is no algorythm for the cross, you need to make it as fast as possible.

  • you are a great teacher!

  • The one cubed rubix is my kind of puzzle :P

  • You should've titled this video only F2L, then OLL&PLL to part2.

  • Awesome tutorial :D

  • 3:58 "!" HAHA

  • @Bubs590 Stop being immature, that wasn't even funny.

  • @Guitarsearcherxgen LOL i wasnt trying to be immature, i meant there was an "!" on the cube.... its blue... sorry for making it sound perverted

  • @Bubs590 ohh..

  • I DONT GET IT

i can do the beginners method in less than a minute.. but i cant do this WTF

  • sorry man but you spelled experience wrong

  • Terrible turtorial

  • This is a bad tutorial

  • fag

  • this is so easy to understand man all you have to do is: bring this up bring that down put this on rotate that down, turn it so it can go in the right place, rotate that, bring this down, turn that up and you are done.

  • you spelled experience wrong in the opening

  • he needs to get out more

  • wow, finally, the most easiest video to understand F2L!

  • The notation on cubewhiz is sooo confusing even AFTER looking at the notation page

  • please tell us algorithums not just there there and there

  • You sound like sheldon from the big bang theory!!!

  • what cube are u using?

  • this is why i never look on youtube for how to solve videos. "move it like this, then like this," I UNDERSTAND WHAT HE'S SAYIG, BUT HES GOING TOO FAST! THIS IS A TERRIBLE TUTORIAL!

  • @MrSkatingman44 This isn't a video for beginners =P Check out Erik Akkersdijk's videos, his channel is frk17 =)

  • @bazzingalorewell, im not a beginner. im not bragging but i can solve a rubiks cube kinda fast just using the beginners method. im trying to learn the fridrich method now but this is a bad tutorial (sorry pi). I am using Badmephisto's cubing site for that now

  • @MrSkatingman44 the reason he says u need to have "significant experience" is so that u can understand it even if its not shown perfectly

  • @MrSkatingman44 This is not a bad tutorial, I actually learn how to do f2l from this video.

  • @MrSkatingman44 thats why he said u have to be good in solving the rubik's cube at the start of the video.. -__________- then why did u watch it when u will complain bout it??

  • Very useful, thanks i'm actually trying to learn petrus but the first half of this was very useful for the basic grouping pairs + building the block

  • You go way to fast

  • telling you to move "this like this and that like this" is not educational, it confuses people, u could at least right the algorithm on the screen.

  • u know there is an algorithm in f2l that solves the solved edge but the corner is facing opposite of the d face the algorithm is R U Ri Ui R U Ri Ui R U Ri

and it solves the edge without destroying the solved edge

  • @AyrProp39 my average with the beginners method was 1minute 15 but now its 1 minute 40 :/ i can pretty much solve all the cases now but because ive only been pratsising F2L, my getting the yellow cross and fliping the yellow corners are a lot slower :s but im thiniking of getting a new cube because the 3x3 i have now is a crappy 5 euro one from a spainish market it locks up LOADS because none of the corners are filled in with plastic so the edges get stuck in with eachother any recommendations?

  • wierd getting advice from someone yonger than me

  • what?

  • @themunk84 just keep practicing that's what happened to me when I started. At some point you will get it and a switch in ur brain will flip an you'll do amazing

  • wow, im never going to be able to do this :/

  • @EsPxFreakZz just keep trying, that's what i thought at the start and now a week later i do it in 1min! :)

  • i cant see how this is faster... i know that the pairing is faster, but i cant with all the thing that need to fall in to place to make the pairings, i dont get it...

but then again i seem to recall you metioning that the time slowed down at the beginning, and the you got faster...

i just cant seem to get faster, my 3x3x3 "normal" solve is under 1 min. with this it takes close to 2 mins.

  • HEY I HAVE A QUESTION.. I GOT A CUBE4U 3X3 TRANSPARENT TILE CUBE. BUT THE CENTER CAPS POP OFF WHEN I START TO MESS WITH THE CUBE.. IS THIS NORMAL? CAN I FIX THIS ANYWAY.. THEY JUST COME OFF SOOO EASILY!!! PLEASE RESPOND!

     THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks so much

  • I hold the world record for the 1x1 cube

  • @dza888 no i do

  • @dza888 I do! 0.00 seonds!

  • @dza888 But i am the best at 0X0, -1X-1, and 2 in the world at the -2X-2

  • @dza888 what method? i wish to become faster.

  • @dza888 sure but i hold the unofficial one

  • @dza888 A cube can't have only 2 dimensions. I'm onto you.. -.-!

  • @dza888

    mine is -0.1

  • @manlycolin so i hold it

  • @dza888 im secound

  • @dza888 no! chuck norris has..

  • @dza888 no, I thought i had that! oh well, i guess i believe u. ):

  • how the hell can you do the white cross so quickly? Can you tell us some tips, since this is the part wich takes the longest to solve?

  • i dont get it

  • quite helpful

  • FALKFJOIJDOWDJOAODJ No wonder.... This tutorial was kind of all over the place in describing the different cases... and there are many different cases. >.>

40 minutes of "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?..."

  • DUDE!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH, THE F2L HELPED ME SOO MUCH!! <3

  • Cool, I figured f2l out for myself but this video has shown me a trick or two I didn't know, thanks!

  • I've been able to solve a Rubik's Cube since 5th grade, and I'm stumped.

  • i've never expecting your voice

  • once you get the principle, you dont even need to know the "algorithm" for every specific situation :D

  • @IScH45I yeah i forget the algorithms, but the moves just coem naturally now :)

  • @danialezzlen

Did you practice lots? Also are you doing the oll and pll? It's expected for those that you do that part in under 10 seconds

  • @ComputerScreenTv i done feliks zemdegs guide. hes kinda helping, i train 2 months and my record is 37.11 seconds..:(

  • its not helping, u wasting ur time teaching us. i can only do 40+ seconds. i need to go faster, ur not helpful.

  • @danialezzlan you got that right this guy is just wasting his time idiot

  • Have you thought about give us the algorithms?

  • @eliranbj hahaha THIS IS NOT THE WAY THAT YOU USE ALGORYTHIMS. IT IS WITH YOUR FUCKED BRAIN

  • No offence but your tutorial seriously suck it is too confusing.

  • @FanoTT for me it was pretty good, and I am not american :P i'm a colombian

  • You talk very fast

  • Where can we buy a cube like yours? I have an normal rubik's cube it's much less adapted to speed cubing

  • @Alexandre1703 get 1 from amazon diy is 12.50 very affordable really smooth

  • use of actual algorithms would be very much appreciated.

  • @ChilliConCarnage625 i would like that too, but unfortunately fridrich method is pretty intuitive, so i find it's better by understanding how an algorithm works, rather thaan just doing it.

  • Whoa. I just debated somebody today who sounded exactly like you.

    Nerdtastic.

  • what if you dont have a pair in the top

  • f2l? pll? oll? heres one FML-FUCK MY LIFE is over i cant do that

  • who else got lost at 0:00? jk i got lost at 1:00 when he talked about fll oll pll? WTF is wat i have to say

  • 0:35

Then you're gonna do PLL. Which means to permute the p-last layer.

  • Love to watch this over and over for review and for memorization!

  • Your voice is sooo annoying, but you make the best videos!

  • You Can ROWtate This Here And That There!

  • wow, thsi is a really good tutorial, thanks man ;D it helped me a lot

  • nice cube, what brand is it?

  • @georgetroulis Brand Is Probably a Regular rubiks cube, which has been fully lubricated and has been replaced with cubesmith stickers

  • @PuzzleS0lver Cubers NEVER use rubiks brand cubes

  • soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many jump cuts

  • I really don't understand the 1x1x1 Rubik's cube............\

  • Whoever made this cube must DIE!!!!!!!!

  • BOOOOM!!!!!!! that was my head exploding

  • im so confused

  • thank you for showing me this. I'm practicing it over and over again and again like I did last week when I started to get it down. THis is pretty cool. I've about got F2L down

  • Just some constructive feedback, I tried to start learning F2L here but was totally confused and could not keep up, it was just too fast for someone who had never seen F2L before, then I went to badmephisto's video's and I was able to understand his much easier, because his video goes through every step in great detail and gives algorithm's. However I came back too yours after I had grasped the basics and it is very helpful!! Covers every scenario in great detail!

  • @dylanbell2 The funny thing is, I felt the same way. I had a hard time understanding this video. So I looked at more videos, got better at solving the Rubik's Cube, then came back. How was I not able to understand this before? Sometimes, it's not the video that needs fixing. The person that thinks that just needs adjusting.

  • 20 seconds in and im lost

  • 3:30 that case u said if the white faces to me it doesnt work :L

  • Uuuugh that made a big knot on my head... Time to sleep for three days...

  • What kind of cube are you using?

  • excellent vid'

  • lol oll

  • ur rubiks cube looks extremely clean o.o

  • badmephisto's F2L tutorial is much easier to understand

    /watch?v=k-xbcAMfWwM

  • mine broke because of trying, made in china i think thats why

  • thumbs up if u think he sounds like nevel from icarly

  • @dmr778810 Most of use aren't under the age of ten, sorry.

  • @dmr778810 Most of us aren't ten anymore and watch ICarly.

  • U TEACH US ALL THESE METHODS...

    i'll teach u guys LOL!

  • maybe it'd be easier to concentrate if the video didnt fade out every 5 seconds?

  • genuis!!!

  • 7:49 יhahah

  • This video has 250,000 views, but the second part is 80,000 views. Some people gave up!

  • Comment removed

  • i think i might have left a nasty comment on this video about a year ago, but maybe I've gotten a bit more intelligent since then. This tutorial is making MUCH more sense now and i'm really getting the hang of using F2L! thanks so much, great tutorial!

  • Is it just me or did that explaination make NO FREAKING SENSE I've been solving my cube for about 6 months I know bunch of diffrent ways to solve it except this one and this tutorial made no sense to me

  • @5:25 I have the same case with only 1 space left And it doesn't work PLZ SOMEONE RESPOND PLZPLZPLZ

  • @Nugwrangler R U R' U2 R U' R' U R U' R'

  • I believe for the last algorithm u showed it's alot faster and easier with a move I made up its if the edge and the corner don't match in that case do "top layer 2turn,s right side 2turns, back face one turn to the right, right side 2turns towards you, back face to the left 1 turn, then u will have 2pices that u have to place place the one in the back first then u can have the other one to place with no problems If anyone wants I'll try to make a video to explain if you don't understand

  • what cube is that?

  • @Hallsville3 A Rubik Brand With Cubesmith Tiles

  • what is ur record in solving the rubiks cube any way

  • your voice killed my brain cells

  • i use keyhole, oll and pll. F2L is to hard!

  • @ONLYUSEmePS3 same here

  • well I have the pieces in the right places, but the colours are not turned right... what do I do?! I dont get it....

  • roootate this up, and bring it back down :D

  • Dan brown rubio

  • @memyselfandpi what kind of cube is that? and cubesmith stickers?

  • what kind of cube is that?

  • This is so hard to understand.. /frustration.

  • Really good vid. I went from about 60 seconds each cube (layer method) to about 30 seconds :).

  • hey if someone could give me some tips for getting faster also oll pll algs im a bit insecure in f2l i finish the cube in like 1.30

  • @carre95 for f2l it's just practice practice and practice that get you better and for oll and pll you should check out the two look versions of them since there are less algs to learn :)

  • 1X1? lol. using a cube from another is a great idea :P

  • 1X1? lol. using a cube from another is a great idea :P

  • go to speedcubingcentral. com for really good speedcubing algs, blindfold algs, tutorials, and more. ITS THE FUTURE OF CUBING. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. IT'S AWESOME!!!!

  • what cube do you use?

  • Wow this video really helped me getting better times at f2l, first I was really slow, I'm like 1 minute faster now, doing f2l + 2 look oll + 2 look pll I get times around 35 seconds:)

  • I don't get it... I can solve the cube but this method is difficult to understand altough it would be faster this way...

  • @fisher00769 It is hard to understand at first. Just keep practicing it SLOWLY and thinking about it and asking yourself questions on how stuff works. Constantly think about getting better and it takes A LOT of practice. everyone is slower at first with f2l

  • i have been trying to figure out that 1x1 piece for decades...

  • fail

  • my head hearts.... -.-'

  • i still dont understand can someone learn me f2l oll pll

  • @carre95 Here Rob's the best. I don't own this video. .youtube.com/watch?v=-trD1s55UUE

  • @carre95

sure what do u need? An explanation or............?

  • i cant solve the 1x1 cube lol

  • @rawanenen1 i can solve the 0x0 in-50 secs
