hi,My girl is wondering how to get her hair back healthy and get it to grow and not break off .She uses the olive oil perm but that's not enough for her hair because after a week or two it's back to ruff looking so can you give me some tips to tell her to use.
@damon7714 if she is using the sensitive relaxer (the 1 she has to mix) that can dry her hair out.its best to put a conditioner on her hair before perming it and take a premixed perm and apply it from roots to ends. some products to use that i recently started using on my daughter is argan oil from sallys "styling cream" the jane carters nourish and shine, and shampoo with one of the three over the counter-tresemme moisture(black bottle), pantene for blacks, or garnier frutise long and strong.
You know i bought some castor oil and i just hate how it weighs my hair down! I hear it aids in hair growth but ill only mix castor oil with my home maid deep/leave in conditioner.
Good Day! Thank you for your instructional videos. I am of mixed decent, and have very curly hair, but its thin, would you recommend I flat iron my hair in the same way you do yours or should I be using a lower setting? When I get my hair done professionally, it always smells burned, so I dont go any more. Thank you for your time!
hey i was wondering, how long does this style last when you flat iron it? i live in a very humid place (florida) HEAT ALL DAY EVERYDAY..will it last there?
wow your flat ironing videos are wayyy too long! you have three parts of flat ironing, i wanted to watch it all but it was a drag, you should speed it up next time and let us see the beginning and ending. your hair looks really nice.
omg, yes, this stuff is AMAZINGGG, but last night, I couldn't sleep because my scalp was SOoOoOOoOOo ITCHY! but i'm not going to stop...lol, I used to have SUPER long hair, but I was using really bad flat irons and WAYYYY toooo much heat..so I had to cut it, because my ends broke so badly. I've been using this mierda for like....3weeks....and so far, I've seen about an inch and a half of new hair..! AY QUE FIRME! :D Your hair looks pretty mija! orale! :D
@wetmonkey79...I no longer use the JBCO, I stopped using it about 6 mos ago (it was making my scalp itch like crazy). JBCO is unfiltered, unlike regular castor oil. JBCO is also a lot thinner.
@wetmonkey79 I use cold processed: It seems to be working for me. I mix it with grape seed oil so it isn't so heavy on my hair though. So jea, if regular means cold processed, then it works! :]
I did it! It seemed weightless but it's not bouncing around and looks kind of like straightened frizz... what should I do now? The ends are really funny and it has A LOT of body... advice =/
The hair is AWESOME! I deep conditioned my hair and I'm going to try straightening it. I really really really hope it comes out looking like yours! I'm using an FHI though... =/
2 - 3 times a month....using this technique, deep conditioning prior to straightening and always using a heat protectant...I have not had any noticeable damage ~ HTH
Thank you...It's probably your iron....if it's not true ceramic plated and/or your technique, always deep condition pior to flat ironing...this will promote shine, softness and body ~ HTH!
Yes....I was using JBCO because I was apart of the challenge on Hairlista, Coconut oil also works great....it cleanses the scalp just like JBCO, but it's not as thick.
I like my hair bone straight also, but people say that it's bad, but since you do it, what, once a month i guess it not bad, and since your hair is health go for it hugh
Its all about the technique.....I have finally mastered my technique, which took me about 10 yrs......I always Dc prior to flat ironing and I use heat protectants, medium heat and a minimum of 1-2 passes through the hair with the iron. I also moisturize and seal my hair daily with coconut oil, to keep it strong & hydrated. I actually flat iron my hair 2-4 times a month (winter regimen).
Question: Do you mixed essential oils with Black castor oil? The reason why I ask this is because it stunk in my hair when I coated it in my scalp. Otherwise, nice video.
Don't mean to bug you, but what other essential oils do they put in JBCO as to lessen the smell/aroma? I love the oil, but can't stand the smell. LOL Thanks in advance again. LOL
I have GOT to do better. We have the same type hair (4b) Your hair is beeautiful. I will try your technique of deep conditioning. What do you think about a shea butter mixture for a deep condd??
Thank you! I never tried mixing in shea butter, but it won't hurt to try, don't be afraid to experiment with natural/pure products, if you try it please let me know how it turn out. Don't forget to add in honey, it great for drawing in moisture to the hair!
Shea butter is really a hair cream/butter not to be use with water. I wouldn't use it as a deep conditioner. I too have 4b hair and need to try her technique too. LOL
your hair looks so healthy and beautiful..
