  • i do not support this because i know who will end up paying for it,the middle class as always.

  • Polls show Americans support Obamacare? ARE YOU FU*&ING KIDDING? Is this a joke! Wait till Nov!!!!!!!

  • @mgallant01 Maybe you live in a rock, but the original plan didn't pass... yet it was popular among most Americans. And yes democrats may lose in november, but not because the public option buy in or the medicare buyin were not popular (like you seem to imply), but because it didn't pass thanks to republicans and lobbyists. On the other hand, I don't know who to vote in nov either.

  • Go look at the polls now, dummy. Obama is very unpopular and tanking every day. He fooled me. I want my vote back now.

  • Obama....THE BEST PRESIDENT THIS COUNTRY EVER HAD!

  • try again idiot

  • @hint0122 Ok...The best president in 60 years! Better?

  • not even close. obama is the worst president ever. he is as bad as carter

  • @hint0122 Naaaa... Carter and GW Bush were the worst. Obama inherited the mess from GWB.

  • and how has obama doen anything? keep in mind that democracts controlled congress from 2006

  • Pushed for enactment of Matthew Shepard Act, which expands hate crime law to include sexual orientation and other factors

Created a White House Office on Urban Policy

Supported increased funding for the NEA

Funded a major expansion of AmeriCorps

Worked to overturn Ledbetter vs. Goodyear

■Extended unemployment insurance benefits and temporarily suspended taxes on these benefits.

  • just to start! What did Bush do?? except for screwing the country?

  • passed economic recovery bill, passed the AMD stabilization and support bill, set deadline for closing guantanamo, reversed restrictions on stem cell research, forclosure prevention fond, banned torture and inhumane treatment for prisioners, new fuel standards for2011,froze salaries of overpaid white house staff..etc..

  • gitmo is still open

  • @hint0122 he set a dead line!! dude read and get educated!! you can google all this stuff!! and DO NOT believe the media it is all bullshit!! Americans are brain washed by the TV!!! You probably know more about Britany Spears ,or american Idol that what is really happening in the world!! GET EDUCATED!!! LOL

  • he said it would be closed within a year. it still is open. You also should look at what the attorney for some of them said. Attorney Marc Falkoff, who represents some of the Yemeni detainees, said that his clients might prefer to remain in Guantanamo rather than move into the more stark conditions at Thomson. The link is on wikipedia at 205. maybe you should try reading. Besides, i would rather be taken prisoner by the us then a terrorist group

  • @hint0122 Obama has bearly been president for a year! Look all his done. Tell me what Bush did in 8 !!! ???? besides screwing the World ! FACT!! also...why are we in Iraq ?? Be careful what you say..

  • its been a year and a half. he has done nothing, and things he did do where with bribes and payoffs. bush gave money to Africa for AIDS research, got rid of saddam. You wont have to worry about iraq, since obama is pulling the troops out.

  • @hint0122 I thought you said he did nothing?

  • he said it would be closed within a year on the day after he got sworn in and it still is open.

  • This turks shit channel is pathetic. They are fooling nobody with the bullshit. Check some more polls today---haha! Obamao and M.C. Hammer: do do do do, do do---it's over!

  • Yes ! We need to stop all 30,000,000 young workers from eating junk food ,Sugar , Salt , & Beer , Pizza THEY have to WORK hard to Pay for our free Health Care , taken out of their pay check

  • Baraks Health Care Reform, Can it advance american citizens? Your views must be voiced!!! Goto my you tube channel and learn how!

  • OBAMA CARE IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL! IT MANDATES EVERYONE TO BUY HEALTHCARE! WE SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHETHER WE WANT IT OR NOT MR DICTATOR! FUCK YOU IMPEACH THE OBAMA PELOSI REID MACHINE NOWw!!!

  • YOU ARE AN IDIOT!

  • Most Middle-class Americans wanted healthcare reform - because of pemiums doubling (in their paychecks). Many Americans suffer from the high cost of medicine (BTW - rampant drug company ads on TV are 100% paid for by YOU). Granted the barrage of anti-reform propaganda on the airwaves the tide is turning against it; JUST what the drug & insurance companies wanted. Of course the finished H.C. reform bill will meet approval of these industries AS THEY WILL HAVE WRITTEN IT!!! Duh!!! Get it?

  • Obamacare has been soundly rejected by the people in the USA....VA, NJ, and MA electorates said NO to Obama's socialistic nonsense...

  • @ConservativeRuleinUS: you are correct...75% of Americans now reject Obama's health care plan....they are trying to thwart the will of the people

  • Health care reform is what people want not a goverment take over of healthcare.

  • Guess those polls were wrong:)

  • I just paid $6000 in monthly taxes to the obamanation of america. this one probably doesn`t even have a real job in the public sector, you shouldn`t even be allowed to vote stupid fucking moron.

  • lmao these turks are as partisan as sean hannity. and for the record, the majority of americans dont want the health reform. so why arent these turks making a video on that?

  • 1. there are pools from all news stations saying that we do why DONT YOU WANT HEALTH CARE GIVE ME A REASON WHY YOU DONT WANT IT

  • @Dasconscripts Excuse me, sir, but I think you're way out of line getting excited over false information. First of all: w w w .rasmussenreports. c o m/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/december_2009/voter_attitudes_towards_health_care_plan_harden_58_opposed

secondly, i keep myself healthy whereas the majority of fat americans dont. no way in HELL am I or my children paying for some fat slob's heart surgery. i want my money to go to ppl with not enough food, not too much!

  • FYI, you've obviously not watched much of their videos, Cenk is harder on the Democratic party than anybody on Fox.

  • Whats the difference between a tea-bagger and a mushroom?

None, both are keep in the dark and fed on bullshit

  • One thing I will say is that gov run health works. I live in Switzerland which has one of the most expensive complusary private health in the world ( I pay 700Chf a month for a family of 3) and I lived in Australia which has gov health insurance. To say the truth I have not experienced any difference. In Australia if I wanted to see a doc then I would see one the same day no problems! Guys the transition will hard but it will be for the better!

  • Sorry guys that was a stupid thing to say! I have no idea what life is like there as all I see is what is on the news which is all quite negative.

  • All I can say that I am so happy that I was not born in America - nice place for a visit though but as to living there? The country is rotting internally.

  • It'll hopefully get better! But if you're going to come here, either go to California or don't come at all.

  • The closed door meetings on the Hill regarding health care illustrate the lack of transparency which we were promised.

Americans who support paying higher taxes for government-run healthcare forget the efficiency of already-existing government agencies/efforts: the Post Office, your local DMV, Katrina relief, even the existing Medicare system illustrate how efficient such programs are. I'm sure this massive program won't have any of that, just as our government is transparent as promised!

  • what message does that send?

  • obama went to guatama mexico two months ago and said my plate is full this year, i'm fighting for health care reform, but he promised them next year immigration reform would come, and in 2011 health care reform would be enacted, and oct 1 obama sent 800+ border patrol agents from the mexican border to the canadian border

  • "Polls Show That People Agree w/ Obama's Health Care Plan"

So, your show itself proves that you are a liar.

  • The mistake with your statement I feel is simply this: We're already paying for others in many ways. One of the most common is people in ER's across this country that can't be turned away because they have no benefits. Also, you pay for others if you're in a group insurance plan say at a job. You're paying for that overweight smoker. The problem with this country has been happening. At least this administration is addressing it truly this time compared to other administrations.

  • Only polled 100 people, not that reliable IMO, especially because it's over the phone. Still thinking it's a rather disurbing thing, but don't overvalue it.

  • OBAMA ROCKS.....

  • This ''amazing poll'' was also vastly overstated. Only 15% of those polled were repubs. It's a liberal lie.

In a Country that is over 60% conservative, you try to push a poll that only represented 15% of the vast majority.

It'a an absolute liberal fabrication. Don't buy this crap for one second.

  • You also need to take into consideration that a percentage of Americans have no political affiliation at all. Some of us are independent thinkers that don't believe all the conservative fabrications that are out there too. I can agree with some republican values; however, I don't want people's stupid religious beliefs & outlandish lies mixed w/ a bunch of oppressive "isms" crammed down my throat. Some of us are tired of it all. Is it hard to believe that people across the board agree on this?

  • That would mean that some of those conservatives voted for Obama. No thats bull crap. Most people in this country is middle of the road. I would say only 28% of this country is conservative.

  • Really? it didn't say that in the poll numbers I saw. The poll numbers I saw were as follows, copy and pasted: [177] Strong Democrat .... 24 Not very strong Democrat...... 9 Independent/lean Democrat ..... 8 Strictly Independent ............. 22 Independent/lean Republican .... 9 Not very strong Republican 8 Strong Republican 12 Other (VOL) 5 Not sure 3
  • shadowdrinkerx, Republican does not equal conservative. Not by a long shot. Where have you been for the last decade?

  • @shadowdrinkerx that liberals lie and make shit up is a republican fabrication. liberals use facts. republicans make shit up.

  • Just another looney liberal

  • It doesnt have a single word saying they will not be covered.

  • Our tax dollars pax for congress healthcare plans, and they have thier choice of private insurance.

Why can't we just have the same deal?

Our tax dollars could more than cover it if we were not involved in bougus wars,

Or if we as a nation printed our own debt free money instead of borrowing it with interest.

I mean, call me crazy but there is your answer

  • U arent crazy -that U even think U are is a testament to the fact that too many ignorant folks have way too much voice in this process. like a few that post for a pay check on U tube-calling people looney liberals- we have to feel OK when we use our brain-- not ashamed some one will cat call us--screw those folks.

  • All this boils down to one question, is a monopoly a good thing?

  • The reason the U.S. needs a new healthcare system is simply that the current system is incredibly inefficient. Car manufacturing moved over the boarder to canada because it was costing around over $1000 more per car to manufacture in the US than in Canada solely due to inflated health care costs.

Source: Rick Wagoner CEO of General Motors untill March this year.

  • Democrat / Republican has nothing to do with anything. Forget the fact health insurance companies maximise profit at any cost- including your health- and the moral questions that that raises the fact is simple: US manufacturers NEEDS a more efficient healthcare system. If the democrats don't do it you can bet that during the 2010s the republicans will.

BTW would be nice if the US left started talking to the US public as equals rather than idiots. Would improve their position no end.

  • Obama & Bush both great Presidents trying to save our economy by health care both Pharmaceuticals & Insurance Companies were bankrupt by Wall Street derivatives so we need mandatory health care to save them.both presidents also saved wall street banks otherwise where would we cash our pay check so what if they take a little out of your Pay Check for health care tax or Carbon Tax ? Both Great Men who will be remembered in History

  • A message to misinformed republicans. You can have the southern states, we don't want them, please succeed, then get the fuck out of our business.

  • As an ultra-conservative republican I have to say, I LOVE seeing stuff like this. The democrats are following Obama over a cliff, just like they did with Carter and then Clinton...but ten times worse this time. If they keep fooling themselves about this, they could easily put an end to themselves as a viable political party. Liberalism could permanently discredit itself as an ideology.

That would be....wonderful. Keep up the good work Young Turks!

  • Please take all of the southern sates and succeed. That would be the perfect response to our solutions for helping people.

It's an amazing irony that people like you support the Iraq and Afghani war (killing innocent civilians in the name of "freedom" which becomes fixed elections) and yet you aren't in support of national health care (saving innocent Americans who would otherwise die untreated and uncared for) get your fucking morals in line with common sense.

  • Clinton was like jumping of a cliff? regarding the comparison, G. Bush must be something like; if the world was flat, reaching the end of it, and jumping of.

  • LMFAO ... young turks my ass ... .. more like young circle jerks

Comrade Obama's poll numbers are in the toilet and headed straight for the septic tank if he doesn't throw Comrade Van Jones under the bus this week.

  • If it is on the Net, it must be true...we ALL know that!

    One More Odumbo Fail

  • Do you have a source that's not an online opinion poll?

  • A quick look at the real polls clearly proves the TYT claims to be patently false. Obama's approval ratings are nose diving at nearly a record rate. The main index now stands at -11 which is pretty bleak at best and a dramatic turn around from his first months in office.

  • What's your source? Sam sited the Wall St Journal, and NBC. What do you have?

  • Here you go. And keep in mind that, that source has consistently been one of the most accurate in post election results compared to polls going in.

    tinyurl . com /5tnd2b

The approval rating index is now -12.

  • Are you trying to get a job at MSNBC? Good luck to you. NBC is not reporting the

'facts" that you r because they are not true. Read the bill! These bills are written in such a way that you could agree with both sides. Once it is written into law, the game is up. This is not Democrat vs Republican this is corruption. We need to wake up and let them know that we are on to them!

  • So how much is ACORN funneling to you to propagate Das Fuhrer Obama's socialist agenda. You're worse then Fox News in reverse!

  • only the polls on liberal websites, lol, but in reality no most people don't.

  • True. They did during the election, but the Republican lie machine works really well.

  • hmmm? you must be on obama's payroll

  • Yeah man, the media is self absorbed, they were asleep before Iraq, they love the drama from this debate. Only worried about ratings. As far as I'm concerned, Rachel Medow is one of the few doing the job. And once again, the American people get suckered.

  • ker wha? What polls agree?

  • As long as you don't get any convieniently contaminated forced vaccinations that have not been tested, unsafe forced upon you by WHO..or told you're getting a tetunus shot only to find out youre sterile my advice would be no swine flu shots. Millions around the world Phillipines, south america, africa have.Mansanto foof corporation and their GMO foods NO! Do not trust this company or the United Nations or the WHO organization or Gardasal

  • Nonsense, muttkat. You've obviously never seen anyone die from lockjaw or pertussis or diphtheria, or a baby's brain permanently damaged from measles or a child blinded by prenatal exposure to rubella like I have. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. We have enough ridiculous paranoid semi-informed conspiracy theorists out there.

  • Verfied1 I'm going to send you a site on the email and you can come back and tell me the same thing that you just told me.

  • does anyone have a feeling that perhaps the opposition is creating fake youtube accounts and posting comments?? i checked out a couple of profiles, and they seem kinda fake, only videos watch or marked favroite are against healthcare...

  • i like this guy, he speaks the truth

  • So what happens when our country becomes like those countries? And yes, 1 reason healthcare is so expensive is because there r not enough docs, which makes prices higher. the waiting list to get a doctor here can be months, and most turn you down if u r on state aid, because the state is not reliable, and they make less money. caring, ethical prof. would be great....along with honest prices. A broken economy is at the core of this problem.

  • Bernake is a expert on the great depression of the early 1930's. I have heard him speak. Healthcare reform is real black and white to me. My hope is that we are eventually on a single payer program. It is a RIGHT not a privelage.

  • The cost of healthcare insurance and not having enough doctors have NOTHING to do with one another.

  • They may have nothing to do with eachother, but both have something to do with healthcare. Most doctors here will turn u away if you r on the state.

  • Yes, they have something to do with healthcare, but not the PRICE of private health insurance!

  • "The Public good be damned!"

    -Hank Rearden

    Atlas Shrugged.

  • ManicStreetStevO, i am shocked to the point of anger by the fact that an obviously educated human being like yourself could be so wise and articulate, and at the same time be so completely wrong about american healthcare and the government. " constitution thumping ". can i believe my eyes? the constitution is our only defense against a tyrannical oppressive government. and America pulls in doctors from around the world because their governments couldn't reemburse them under universal healthcare.

  • Wow Stevo! I have never heard it said so well! Kudos! I will be copying and pasting your comment if you don't mind! Right on!

  • Amen ManicSteve! The way I look at it is for the near future, we Americans will continue to pay taxes. What the right and left disagree on is how it is spent! I would rather see my tax dollars help my neighbor instead of killing our soldiers and innocent civilians in illegal and needless wars. That is the difference!

  • Ha...we have a complete government take over of everything. The health care plan is the last way for the gov. to take the last bit of freedom we have. 1st, we do not even have enough doctors in this country.

I would rather work hard for my health care and my families health care. Sorry, but if you read history, you would know exactly what this is leading to. You are a sheep...:= Politically correct people are itiots. Look up neurolinguistic programming.

  • So, what you are saying is that ONLY if you have a job you are good enough to see a doctor if you are sick. Right? This reform bill has NOTHING in it that is a "takeover". Is Medicare a takeover? Is VA benefits a takeover? Get off Faux News and do some research! Thanks!

  • I am under the VA due to service related injuries and an illness.

This healthcare is a disguise is for another tax and about gov't populace control.

It's an Invasion of privacy. Do not trust your gov't with this much control. Do not give up your liberties in place of some promised security.

  • No, everyone needs healthcare, we need reform, but not this. I dont get my info. off of any mainstream media, I go to college and spend hundreds of hours researching every month. I have seen first hand what the state in your life can do and it is not pretty. Listen to the VETS!!!!!!

  • Oh, I listen to the Vets! My parents met in the Army and LOVE their VA benefits. My father had top notch Blue Cross and says that the VA program is much better. The one thing I know for sure is that as long as profit is in healthcare, we are ALL fucked!

  • I agree with the profit deal, its at the root of the greed.

I know alot of VETS suffering here, disabled, and struggling to get what they deserve. Our system needs reform, but I have faith that WE THE PEOPLE can agree on something better than this. The gov has their hands in everything now...yes, follow the money. The truth will horrify you. 10 years of research + personal experience...follow the money trail.

  • When I follow the money, it leads right to the private insurance companies, not the government. At this time the "government" has HAD to get involved. Thanks to the complete catistrophic failures of the last administration, both R & D economists agree that the "government" had to get involved. Bernake is a Republican and agrees. This cluster fuck we are in didn't start on January 20th! I personally am glad the government interjects itself. Right down to the water I drink!

  • Have you spent any of that time researching countries that have universal health care? Such as their life expectancy, their infant mortality rate, their satisfaction with the system....

Most countries with universal health care are doing better than the US in those regards.

  • yes, there are benefits and downfalls. The point is not wrapped up in that. The point is that we ARE a country in DEBt. We are fighting wars that are questionable. If we were not busy building empires around the world, making corporations rich, while simultaneuosly selling America out and destroying its constitution, we could very well have health care for everyone.

  • I do understand the thinking on both sides. Socialism is just a fancy word for communism, which leads to dictatorship in the end. Peace....

  • You know what,go read the crap Mr.Emanuel and Mr.Holder have written and then ask yourself why people are freakin outraged. And guess what, most Americans are STUPID ENOUGH to change their mind after listening to Obama MANIPULATE the facts. Why do you think he is PRE-SCREENING his questions and BUSSING his Acorn and SEIU thugs in?Just remember,EVERYONE gets old and EVERYONE will be forced into the public option.

  • THEY WERE READ "A STATEMENT" FROM IT!?!?! OMFG YOU ARE KIDDING ME RIGHT??? THEY WERE READ A STATEMENT FROM THE ENTIRE PLAN AND ASKED IF THEY AGREE AND THEY AGREED WITH THAT ONE FUCKING STATEMENT YOU FUCKING MORON!!!!!!!!!

GOOD JOB THEY AGREE WITH A STATEMENT LMFAO! YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AND THE IGNORANT 40,000 viewers that follow you!

I COULD GIVE THEM "A STATEMENT" OF WHAT THE NAZI's BELIEVE AND GET 90% OF AMERICA TO AGREE WITH THAT STATEMENT YOU FUCKING MORON

  • you cap using tard the statement was just to inform the people in the pole that "their" biggest concerns with the plan were not true. what you should be mad about is that it only took one statement to turn these angry mob tards completely around. you only prove his point

  • cool story, bro.

  • You are all full of Bologna. The only way this can pass if all Americans vote on it. Otherwise I want nothing from a Democrat.

  • Funny, most people I have talked to whose intelligence I respect think Obama's healthcare plan is well intentioned, but way too expensive and cumbersome in the long run. The current insurance dominated system is a nightmare, but piling federal beauracracy on top of it is a very bad idea.

Besides, where will the funding come from? The Chinese are very soon going to stop buying treasuries, when that happens the federal government's fiscal structure will implode......period.

  • I don't know who tainted your drinking water with a delusion-inducing disorder, but I find it a bit preposterous to hold weight in polling. I just can't accept your premise as a scientist. If you're going to make "people" as your measurement, it's responsible to either get every opinion or none. People are too easily swayed by bandwagons in polling than to understand the real truth at times. After every use of "poll" like this should be in parentheses (which doesn't/don't matter).

  • polls are bullshit. we dont NEED government for anything. just the people who are weak and foolishly becoming dependent on government. what most people NEED is God and acceptance of Truth, not bullshit.

  • OMG...government health care...Oh...the Canadians, French, English, Germans....what??? They all totally love their health care you dumbass Americans. The US remains the only industrialized nation w/o universal health care! ! And the US pays almost DOUBLE for the same health care as the rest of the world. Free Market my ass--Do Americans take pride in being the stupidest populace in the world. (Obviously--they love the FAUX "news" network. Fox a new source? Like Shaq is a ballet dancer..

  • well we don't have a free market and at this rate we never will. We have had medicare and medicaid for years now driving up prices as all subsidies do to anything not subsidized(in the same market) and we have had regulations that only give insurers incentives to charge more because they can. Sure a public option would force insurance companies to lower prices to compete with a government subsidized plan but how will that affect the tax payer that doesn't want the government plan?

  • you're right of course, but we will never have a free market. the special interests and the politicians are far too entrenched in the system to want to tear it down. if they can't buy votes, and if special interests can't buy favors...then most politicians are out of a job. and who would ever vote themselves out of a job?

  • well if we didn't have such dismal polling numbers we might actually have representatives that represent us.

  • polls don't matter one whit. spend 5 minutes on google and you can find polls that say the exact opposite.

the representatives don't represent us, because WE don't elect them. lobbyists and special interests elect them, and it is to them (lobbyists et al) that the politicians owe their allegiance.

as for why democracy is flawed (republics are only slightly better): what do nine out of ten people enjoy? gangbang. that says it all.

  • Doesn't matter, taxes aren't paying for this. Soon all US tax revenues will not cover the interest on the national debt...that may already be the case.

  • "They all totally love their health care"

Blanket statements like that reveal a very shallow understanding of the issue. I have relatives in Britain, they sure would tell a different story. The majority of funding for any government program is eaten up by the beauracracy-thus quality of care suffers.

Look at Amtrak and the Post Office.

  • Good thing you can speak for all the Canadians, French, Anglos, and Germans who do participate in such institutions. IDK what we'd do without your godlike insight and experience in the medical buisness fields of all those countries.

  • Heathcare reform without TORT reform is like trying to save water in a bucket full of holes.

  • Right on Manic! I have read your comments and for being a young person, you make more sense than the old GOP asses that shout: Keep government out of our healthcare, but don't touch my Medicare! Good God!

  • So, the majority wants to trample on our Constitutionally Protected Right to Property so it's OK.

    Morons...

  • 1

No. I'm a conservative and I avidly support health care reform. I fully understand there are many people who simply are not making enough money to pay for health insurance. I believe health care should be affordable, but the only we can actually make health care affordable is to regulate insurance. The Government needs to step in and keep insurance premiums low.

  • 2

The main reason health care is so expensive is that insurance companies pay only a fraction of the initial costs so doctors have to raise their prices. We've got to create some kind of law forcing insurance sompanies to pay the full costs and then most doctors would lower their prices. If insurance companies would lower their premiums more people could afford to buy insurance.

  • 3

Insurance should only pay for major medical expenses and people should pay for their own regular checkups. If we could just do these simple things insurance could be more available to more people. And the Government could create a safetynet available only to U.S. citizens who are in a situation where they cannot even pay for already affordable insurance.

  • I hope to God when my 4 year old Grandson turns 18, he won't know what a private health insurance company is. They have been KILLING Americans for too long all in the name of the almighty dollar. Fuck-um!

  • Don't worry, he wont. He will only know what the government programmed him to know.

  • No no. Private insurance is a good thing. We just need to regulate it more so more people can get coverage and insurance companies can pay higher portions of medical costs. I'm telling you, we do not want a single payer system.

  • Private medical insurance a good thing? Are you kidding? My father paid Blue Cross for 20 years, then got lymphoma. His onogologist went ahead and tried to pre-approve his chemo. Blue Cross sent him a form letter saying that his insurance didn't cover it. The next day Dad showed up at Blue Cross with a lawyer, and wa-la, he had coverage. Most people can't afford a good lawyer like my Dad did. (Continued!)

  • Now a story about my 50 year old brother. He was in an HMO & suffered from migraines. The HMO denied a brain scan. What happened to my brother? He fucking died. Medicare is a single payer system, so if you don't want government in your healthcare, contact your congressman and lobby him/her to get rid of Medicare, VA, FDA, FAA, USDA, Fire & Police Departments, etc. Put your money where your mouth is. Greedy insurance companies are KILLING people! One of your loved ones might be next. I hope not!

  • Then instead of dictating to doctors and medical institutions what services will be available and to whom it will be available, maybe they should first regulate the insurance companies and make sure such disgusting abuse doesn't happen. Fascism is occuring as we speak.

  • ABCNBCPBSCNNMSNBCNPR will just manipulate polls to favor Obama and his positions.

The media has been giving obama a pass for 4 years.

  • This guy is a fuckin mutt. The only ones into obamas healthcare program are the illegal aliens, low life welfare bums, lazy folks who have nothing to lose and everything or anything to gain or opportunists.

The answer to the problem is to go after the insurance industry with tighter regulations, fire pelosi, impeach obama, shit can Reid, and give congress and all senators term limits to no more than 2 terms. Make it an automatic disqualification if they're attorneys!! Can the czars too!

  • I heard Ray Liotta is going to fight Obama on WWF

  • you f--king geeks need to get a life!

  • your wrong! poeple are against it. you young turks are always wrong!!

  • you're fucking stupid

  • HAHA GOVT DOES REGULATE INSURANCE RATES

anyone reading this I am telling you a fact not an opinion

I have friends who deal directly with fees that the govt sets

  • otoolhouse i think you are my new friend. preach on preach on.

Obama can be quoted on wanting a singular plan.

I just dont get why Liberals and Conservatives who supposedly don't trust the govt have no issue of govt intervention when money is concerned or war

  • Why can't the government just regulate insurance rates and create a safety net only available for people making a low enough income?

  • It WILL lead to a government take over of the health care system. I know Obama just wants to create a public option and that's a good thing there should be a safety net for those who can't afford health care. But once this public option exists most employers will stop providing health care for their employees.

  • It goes to show you the inexperience of this mid-level manager we call a president. I am a swing voter who is against a pub option but for reform. G.W. Bush who everyone labeled a moron was able to convince a large body of DEM congress to go to war. think about this.

Meanwhile our beloved Harvard Grad decides to discuss race issues at a time when the country only cares about green.

Im sorry if i am cynical and he needs to do a good job, so i can continue having a job.

  • The other huge issue that NBC isn't telling you about is that many democratic congressmen want to pay to provide health care to over 50 million people by taxing Americans on their insurance. Many people will not be able to afford to pay the indurance tax and they will opt out to the public option as well. With less people in the insurance pool rates will go up even higher and insurance companies will go out of business making the public option the only option.

  • Really? Who do you think pays for the uninsured right now? If an uninsured person is in an accident or gets seriously ill, they have to be treated regardless.. And it's the taxpayers who pick up the tab, and insurance rates have already skyrocketed because of it.

And the public option Obama has talked about is to be run to compete with private insurance, not to obliterate it. It just means private insurance will have to stop soaking people for massive profits to survive. We need parity.

  • How do the taxpayers pay for the uninsured?

I know a hospital will do whatever necessary to stabalize you, but you'll pay something. The government does not pay for the health care of every uninsured person.

By the way how will the Public Option compete with private health care? Who can compete with free health care? The Governnemt has got to create a safety net, not drive insurance companies out of business.

  • What? A taxpayer pays for the uninsured through higher insurance rates. There is NOTHING in the "Public Option" that is free! You pay on a sliding scale. People like you crack me up, the first thing on your mind is money. What about the people that are dying? When the cluster fuck is over in Iraq, (a senceless and needless war), that little price tag will be 3 TRILLION dollars. I wonder how many people could be covered with healthcare with 3 TRILLION? Where is the outrage? Seriously!

  • actually abortion was part of the bill in the very beginning, i remember reading it a few days before this nonsense happened. it was removed.

Im not sure why all of a sudden you trust the government so much?

But I agree misinformation was spread word of mouth and later by companies. unfortunately none of this needed to happen if only a smaller finely tuned bill which the president could easily explain to himself and others was passed before august recess

  • The misinformation and atrocious coverage by MSNBC and FOX news has further created demagouges and confused liberals and conservatives. so i simply ask a question of you youtube listeners. Why do you want a public option?

  • The issue is that there is nothing in the bill that states that government will not provide health care for illegal immigrants and there is nothing in the bill that states the government will not pay for abortions. So if an illegal immigrant goes to apply for the public option will they make sure he is indeed a naturalized citizen? And If a women is using the public health insurance option and goes to hospital to abort her baby what's stopping her from doing that?

  • ...a failed social security system, a consumer driven economy which will always implode. how will we continue supporting infrastructure and medicare/medicaid?

A Reform is necessary a public option is idealogy. just like the war in Iraq was not necessary but part of a bigger imperial picture. so this too is part of a larger Fed dominated govt.

please note i am not proposing any radical fear mongering ideas, just stating the logical thoughts of where this govt and it's people are heading

  • Look stop being stupid and ignorant. with a public option plan success will mean the death of private companies, large companies that have over a million employees counting nationwide.

If failed it will create a bigger deficit and another embarrassing blow to an already failing government,

Since democrats want o push this bill let them, but they need to truly think about the consequences in the future. how will the fed handle this? how will we handle a...

  • The only people that hate his plan is the rich asses cause they dont want to lose money.

  • Oh I know what I am against... it has very little to do with "health care" it has to do with control and the cabal that really controls this world. But can you believe BHO bad mouths MD's to try to make a point!!! I pray that you will soon wake up to the truth about world leadership and not give up your freedoms so easily.

  • money.... ohh ya there were dumb ass repubilican senators denying the money he was giving to states .. YAH this country for the BIRDS .. gotta love it

  • h the fact people are just opposed to obama doesnt really matter the plan it is guess as u said from reading a paragraph the stats jumped from 36 to 53% so failure by the media first off is correct but how can be people out in the streets ourtraged and not even know what they are mad against.. its just blind anger from the opposing side .. all the bush lovers who will deny any and everything obama does he good be giving away

  • Wow keep up the good work... honestly thats the fact people are just opposed to obama doesnt really matter the plan is my

  • rudds67, while I respect your opinion, I can't agree. FOX News has done a good job of appearing to be more conservative. Quite frankly, the conservative v. liberal game is just that; smoke and mirrors, intended to veil the real issues. The fact FOX has Geraldo Rivera on its roster should tip you to FOX's real agenda.

  • dude well if thats the case of the fact that its just health insurance why did it have to be over 1200 pages long and they summiting it in the early hours of the morning... ..

that plan will create govt run committies ( death groups) that will basically say what the govt will do and pay for. why the fuck would you want the govt running another program havnt you already learned enough from medicare or medicaid or the us post system or even amtrac.everything the govt touchs it goes bankrupt

  • I've talked with quite a few individuals, none of whom support this Marxist legislation. The real danger with this bill are the hidden attachments that come with it. I imagine, and I am probably not far from wrong, that the only people who would support this bill are the same ones who drink the kool-qid of the main-stream media. If you really believe FOX News, CNN, MSNBC or any of the other big news organizations, than you are a fool.

  • lionheart fox news is on our side... its the cnn and msnbc... that are pushing the credulous middle class to think that this is really going to help them however its just going to give further govt control over another aspect of our lives...

  • The Unions that are bought and paid for and are bussed into obamas town hall meetings agree with the health plan.I can tell you atleast 80% of america is sick of the current government, and growing.

  • the same polls say obamas approval ratings are above 50% wich is a lie.

    i say F U C K T H E M ! I W A N T M Y

    R I G H T S B A C K !

Revolution is the only solution !

  • People are idiots like obama

  • Don't just state that it doesn't... tell me what page it says all this... The right wing give pages to go read when they make all these, "myths" up and the American public read them and agreed. WE disagree with you since we have read parts of the Bill. The public agreed that it had potential for abuse so we killed it. Get over it. The left did fail at selling the Bill.

  • and you are anti-Semitic because.........

  • Obama ran for President on a platform committed to reforming health care. He won by a 10 million vote margin. Elections matter.

  • Polls Show That People Agree w/ Obama's Health Care Plan? NOT!!

  • ...the "majority of the people agree". You can't have your cake and eat it too, because you are either part of the establishment, or you are the rebels, can't have it both ways.

  • Yeah, and ABC's polls, which is a liberal leaning network mind you, has obama at 49% when it comes to the publics trust in him. So either people are waking up, or polls don't mean shit because they contradict each other, or you are slanting the truth. Besides, you leftist have argued for years that just because the majority endorses something doesn't mean it is right, and oh us poor minorities without a voice, but now you are running around trying to claim a leftist agenda is right because...
