  • Actually the phone wont break if you spray the shield spray onto the screen (as long as the phone is off the phone will be alright)

  • why in the hell would anyone wanna buy a lifetime warranty shield for a gadget that lasts no longer than 3 years?

  • Surly the fluid will go inside the speaker, side of screen and the home button???

  • Do this in the bathroom: Heat up the bathroom with water from your sink for the dust to get away from the air, wait 5 minutes. Clean your device with a LCD-cleaning kit and get away any extra dust by simply putting a layer of tape on your LCD and remove it. Read ZAGG's instructions carefully, then when you're going to apply the shield, put it at the bottom of your device, use the squeegee and slightly tilt the shield back against it and push the squeegee forward to apply it. No bubbles. :)

  • I bought this invisibleSHIELD for my ZTE Blade a few days ago (at the same time I purchased the mobilephone) and just earlier today I opened the box for my ZTE Blade and picked it up, battery wasn't pre-installed so I installed the invisibleSHIELD right away, no fingerprints and a totally new phone. I did however watch a few videos before installing and reading the installation guide thoroughly and I got a almost perfect install, maybe 1mm too far to the right but no bubbles whatsoever. Perfect.

  • This "shield" is piece of crap. I've had to buy 3 times the shield.

This third time I nearly threw the phone to the wall and ripped the shield since IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A PLACE WITHOUT DUST!!

You'd had to be in a freaking operatin room!! Now this thid shield has some dust in it and I've tried 4 times to get it off!! No success! thank you for wasting my money!!!

  • We must remove the original protective film before applying the new (Invisibleshield) ??????

  • I watch this for this guys voice, I find it funny

  • I don't get it why does he spray the screen and the sticky part of the shield won't that damage the phone? I know he used the squeegee but after the shield is on completly won't some of the liquid still be there and eventually damage the screen?

  • neat

  • lol you guys r retarted im going back to porn

  • I really don't like these cases, it always looked flimsy to me. But just now my older brother asked me to put it on his Droid Charge.(I'm good at perfection) To be honest the install was super easy took like 10 seconds to get it on perfect without bubbles too. You have to kind of stretch it on to fit the whole screen though, and they don't give you enough of the spray to put on the full shield for back and front. I don't really like the feel of the protector but thats just me. I like it smoother

  • @Iwaynel i did get a replacement iPhone from apple though > 3 >

  • @Iwaynel <------what he said

  • @Iwaynel<----- what he said

  • @Iwaynel <-----what they said he said

  • DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!....I GOT WATER DAMAGE FROM THE LIQUID PROVIDED!!!

  • @Iwaynel Too But Rly

  • DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!....I GOT WATER DAMAGE FROM THE LIQUID PROVIDED!!!

  • @Iwaynel your probably the only one that said that. why wud they give you the spray if it will damage your idevice?

  • This is BULLSHIT! the product is supposedly good and the material from which it is made also feels ok i guess, but i came up with a conclusion that you have to be super pro at this, it does look very easy, i agree! but its waaaayyy easier to FUCK it up! you try again and again, and then some dirt comes beneath the shield, which you can't make go away, and ultimately u get so fucking pissed for spending over 25$ for it, i dont really recommend, try other alternatives

  • @xSniperDelux3x i hope you realize there is a lifetime warranty...

  • @santaahobo actually i am very well aware of that, but it doesn't matter at all! it has already failed as a product, and a lifetime warranty doesn't necessarily make a specific product worth buying, for me it is just a way to tempt people and convince them to buy it. i hope they will come up with something else that will prove itself in a better way and will be actually simple and useful as much as people would expect from something like that to be..

  • is it supposed to like be some liquid again between the phone and the shield or did i use too much of the spray??

  • Big problem, i bought it, less than a week, edges starting to peel off. Went back, they repair, after a week, peel off again, even worse. Went back second time, they said, adhesive already gone, they cant repair. FAIL!!! Wasted my money

  • Gadget Filmz is 50,000 times easier to install and has a life time replacement even if you mess it up while installing it! they also have this carbon fiber that looks amazing! love my iphone now.

  • this product sucks i got small amount of spray, so i used water instead and it got fucked up. military grade my ass. u.s made my ass.

  • I just installed this on my phone (I only bought the front piece) it's really not too hard to install, but yes, you are spraying liquid onto the phone. The important thing to remember is that you should be focusing on the glass. Don't drench it and it will be fine.

  • It looks easy but, After I tried the back piece... 1 word !Shit!

  • @MrLaith97 IKR i just gave up and bought an incase case lOL

  • Anyone who doesn't understand that you are putting liquid directly on an electronic device as a basic principal here is fucking retarded.

  • I have this on my x10 mini, it functions very well and is barely noticeable but it makes the grip suck especially when its warm outside and your hands are sweaty, that combined with the small size of the phone makes me drop it all the fucking time lol

  • very hard to install

  • Love this product.

  • I just got this today on amazon.com for $15 and it was easy to put on I think everyone should have one of these I'd you have an iPod touch it is worth the $15

  • i did this and then it looked like my ipod touch was gonna die, then my mom screamed at me because it costed like 20 dollars and i messed up my ipod touch that was like 200-300 dollars? then i hated the invisable shield... but the next day it was all clear and flawless and stuff and i was likeYAY!!!! then my mom apolagized to me :D

  • this looks like shit on my ipod touch

  • i nearly died by installing this

  • is it safe to spray on the phone ?

  • Some screens arnt ment 2 come n contact with water at all zagg product is garbage !!!!!!!

  • @ CoolCanadianGuy7 1st learn to read miss typed or broken text 2ndly pay me & i'll take my time 2 tex properly 3rdly no where in my instructions did it say avoid ports I don't know about wut u thinkn but this product is bullsht how the hell do u avoid ports when phones r made differantly? that dam water doesn't help the screen still sticks during process, the end result is a soked phone.

  • I called and found out this morning that the so called solution is 99% water,no wanings on package zagg should be sued!!!

  • THE BOTTOM LINE ANYTIME U SCEPTICAL ABOUT SOMETHING COME 2 YOUTUBE 1ST AS A RULE!!!!!!!

  • ZAGG SHOULD BE SUED FOR NOT WARNING US ABOUT THE HARMFUL EFFECTS OF THE SOLUTION A SALES PERSON AT RADIO SHACK TOLD ME IT WASN'T HARMFUL 2 PHONES NOW AFTER APLYING WITH LOTS OF SOLUTION I'M READING THIS WTF!!!

  • @313bro 1st learn to speak bud. 2nd Its water, avoid the ports like they CLEARLY said and let your device sit for 24 hours like they CLEARLY said also. Don't blame Zagg because you can't follow instructions, or even type properly. By the way, YOU DON'T NEED TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS TO GET PEOPLE TO READ YOUR COMMENT

  • would it fit on a iPod or is there an iPod version please reply.

  • @MegaSn00kie would it fit on a forth generation i mean.

  • @MegaSn00kie There's a version for all versions of the iPod.

  • 20 bucks for this??, and guaranteed a schmo like me gets a spot under and I gotta redo

  • I don't know why people say its so hard lol

When I did it I watched 3 YouTube videos before hand

If you watch only one short tutorial and rush it then of course you're going to mess up ;)

  • Who ever said my phones volume was fucked up is because you didn't avoid the ports :)

  • haha had mine put on by some guy in Thailand lol gotta love em

  • this is WAY harder than it looks. I totally failed it when letting finger marks and other dust in there, couldn't get it off, i washed the shield like for 5 mins, no change :S

  • I wish I was U :~/

  • u scratch it with the table!

  • **be careful when putting on that spray, i fucked up and got into the earpiece now i cant hear who im tlking to.

  • I use these products for utility items such as digital voltmeters and embedded controller displays. Small phones also. To put one on an ipad or droid tablet is just going to make it look like crap though. Plus it is really difficult to get the bubbles out and the squeegie will scar the surface of the film if you press to hard.

  • @moonstarproductions nice fone, me got the shield for the samsung i900, but i had it for the ZTE Blade =)

Btw, ive tried this out with rubber gloves, maby its easier that way :D

  • @moonstarproductions haha, or you just sat there all day long and waited for a reply ;)

What phone did u have the sheild for?

  • @moonstarproductions haha, i've done 2 already and it wasnt very hard...

So what shield is easier to put on ?

  • hey does anybody know if you supposed to put the piece of sheild over the home button?

  • you can send your device to ZAGG (the makers of invisibleshield), for a professional install. they charg$15. i had them install my shield on my iPhone and looks perfect

  • ITS NOT THIS EASY

  • this guy made this look so easy lmfao

  • Ok... So I bought this online for my Nokia 7705 Twist, it looks easy BUT ITS NOT! Didn't even come with a lint-free cloth... So my invisible sheild was COVERED IN DUST BECAUSEI DIDNT HAVE ONE. Also my phone got soaked and got inside my phone. GREAT. Awesome thing though :D

  • @Ijellop it never said it came with a cloth.

  • @MommyKiller1 I've bought several and I believe it's supposed to come with one microfiber cloth.

  • i got this on my ipad....SO ubbes or shit wrong its awesome :D but yeah dont use it for like 2 days oorrrrrrr u may mess it up

  • ALL these cases are like building a FORTRESS, but without the Gates.

THE DISPLAY IS STILL CONSTANTLY EXPOSED!!! Idiotic.

I guess Apple earns so much money on repairing displays they dont allow cases that protects the Display.

My brother (does heavy works with construction) got a case with carbonfiber-like material but with a cover/lid part for the Display, wich saved it (iPhnoe3G) many times over. Neither him nor i can find it in any of the stores anymore!

    >:(

  • @Bellybeard Get an otterbox defender.

  • it brocke my key not my phone

  • lol he is using a shamwow

  • how come they do it so easily

  • what's an iphone?...i have an android!

  • @souls666 ´what the fuck is an android?! souns like shit bitch.

  • My installation experience was much different than this. I bought one for my EVO and followed the directions EXACTLY, even sprayed my finger tips. That god damn sticker did not slide one little bit once it touched the screen. It was like fucking super glue. After pulling the thing off probably 7 times and re-wetting it with no luck it turned into a matter of trying to just lay it down perfect cuz I knew it wasnt gonna slide. Ended up getting shit under it with my 15 minutes of manhandling. Junk

  • @supchaka Indeeeed, fml

  • its like were performing surgery or something

  • i should of seen this video before i attempted to install it... it was just a disaster.

  • the new zagg doesnt include the spray anymore they have a new sponge which makes it even more harder to install.. idk why they stopped making the spray

  • damn where do u get lint free cloths

  • @danthaman7777 anyone who has a glasses case just rob/borrow it

  • even though i dont even have one of those i still think its the best protection prodoct for the psp iphone and a bunch of other electronics

  • Follow the damn directions and it's not THAT damn hard. Took me about 15 mins of playing with it. Don't be excessive with the damn spray, don't get frustrated when it looks like crap, cuz it takes days to look right, and don't worry about the 12 hours, I never turned my phone off once and it's fine. Impatience abound in here. I just put mine on 3 hrs ago, i'll let you know in 3 days if it turns out right.

  • Had the shield for over a year. I took it off though, because I got some chemicals on it and ruined the front. My iPhone screen was as good as the day I bought it. I called ZAGG and they shipped me out an entirely new set, no problems. They will even install it for free. Thumbs up to ZAGG.

  • This is the worst product ever! The shield was not cut for my ipod. (YES I BOUGHT THE 2g version) The headphone jack kept getting covered along with the power button AND USB connection port. The "water solution" made the shield not stick to my ipod (i even waited 1hr for drying!!) And I tried registering my product and it wouldn't let me! After all the stress i just took the shield off crumpled it and threw it AWAY. IT EVEN LEFT PERMANENT STICKY GOO STUFF ON MY IPOD!!! Great! THUMBS DOWN!!!!

  • @MagicXXMadness The installation instructions clearly state to wait for 12 hours for drying

  • I mangeded to turn the phone on 3 times during the installation.. so i guess it wont matter if i wait 12 hours now. I have a htc desire btw.

  • After installing this, my iphone is destroyed. Only some of the touch functions work. Now I have to buy a new iphone ... I am so mad at ZAGG now

  • @Cherrysangel83 wow really? 3g or 4?

  • This is A LOT harder than it looks! I f*cked it up!

  • @MASKdk

It's a fucking PAIN in the ASS!!

  • @MASKdk damnnnnnnn riteeeeee

  • some of these steps and techniques won't in the documentation when i got the zagg sheild...

  • is it safe to spray it with the solution? because the solution will touch the device..and do u have to spray it? cant we just stick it on?

  • WTF?! 12 HOURS?!! I'll die before then!

  • @MrJNEW82 I KNOW, im getting my iphone 4 in 10 days, i want to put it on the phone while its brand new and never touched but umm 12 HOURS!!!

Can i just like wait 3

  • I'd rather not spray anything at my phone.

  • @Kebbe666 the stuff is non-conductive, unlike water. so you could theoretically spray it directly on your internal parts and they would still work fine. I've put a few on different phones now and its really not scary. as long as you take your time and follow the instructions.

  • lol id screwed up I spayed also the iphone too and with spraying the front shield, but everything came out good at the end, they should came with 2 sheets instead of 1 sheet,

  • My only tip is when applying the the corners and sides is to leave them to dry for at least 10 minutes so they dry and get sticky enough, if they are still wet they will not stick. When this is done use the palming technique and your fingers and hold it till it stays. I found it a bit tricky but got it in the end ;). Only difference is in England ours comes with sponge soaked in solution instead of the spray.

    Awesome product 10/10.

  • @hotlips922 not true spray is sold with it in the carfone warehouse in england

  • @chipmonkeyharvey Strange, I bought mine from Carephone a couple of weeks ago ant there was no spray. Seriously it was only a small sealed tray with a black sponge in it, cost me £15.

  • i have just installed my shield onto an iphone 4. i had no problems with it. as long as you take your time then you dont get any bubbles . i would recommend it to anyone

  • It protects the hoke button also? Cool

  • @Frosty6209 gotta love the hoke button ;)

  • For scratches, but remember that there isnt cases that wud protect ur ipod or iphone. If u drop it a few times you will see that the memory of the iphone and ipod touches begin to fade. So better keep your Ipod/Iphone on real safe and like a flower in your hand.

  • this guy has fat fingers

  • would it be possible to put one of those in a car???

  • Bodyguardz is much better

  • Is this antiglare or the reflective ones? btw, is there any shipping available?

  • oh so its that easy! sweet! i thought it would take a whole hour of disappointment

    great product though! :D

  • I received mine for my iPhone 4 last week. The back went on fine. But the front messed up so I've had to order another front screen :(

Good product though, I definatly reccomend it. The texture does take a few days to get used to though.

  • i was thinking my iphone would go invisible after wearing this superhero costume on it

  • i just got the iphone 4, should be here in a week or so. anyways i got a skin fom skinit.com and i wanna put this shield on top of the skin. is it possible?

  • Is it safe to get the adhesive on the speaker like that? I got this and want to put it on my iPhone but can't imagine spraying adhesive either on the speaker or on the home button... Not sure what to do..

  • Apple should sell the iphone with this already installed!

  • @Hazsgs ??? yes

  • @Hazsgs But then they would increase the price by another 100 dollars because they are greedy.

  • @Hazsgs

this is the best comment i have ever read!!!!!

    No Joke!!

  • Do I really have to use the spray for the installation? Can't I just stick it on directly?

    (Front shield)

  • @OE47 yes you can but only if you are confident that you wont mess it up.

  • @OE47 no, you have to use the spray. the liquid underneath is really helpful for squeegeeing out bubbles.

  • @iDoxish yes its just like a screen protector. They come off

  • whats the name of the song within the first 13 seconds of the video

  • Installing was hard, their site is weird. I have weird coloring dots on my screen and a lot of bubbles on the back. Now I have to leave my iPhone alone for 24 hrs, which is a true hell for me.

  • Do these actually work well?

  • @carlinecaribou They work okay. I got one awhile back and it looked nice but then the texture of it is just horrible. when you tap on things on your iphone it doesnt respond all the time, and like i said, i personally dont like the texture of it, it feels really weird. it does work though

  • Just get a whole plastic covering. I got a grifin case for my ipod nano and they have a case for iphones too.

  • fucking crap. Never buy this shit

  • I thought you couldn't get any kind of liquids on the device ?

  • that spray bottle is nothing but soap and water, its just like putting tint on a car window real easy.

  • So today we have three iPhones with ZAGG(tm) shields on them. The question is-Will it blend?

  • if i put the InvisibleSHIELD on the front only will I Be Able to put a case on the Back?

  • @WIZARDTOONTOWN

Ya, they're very thin, hardly noticeable.

  • will invisibleSHIELD protect my iphone from getting blended?

  • @nallenito yes

  • @nallenito now that is the question my friend

  • T-T-T-T-T TWELVE HOURS?!?!?!?!

  • To everyone considering buying this. If you are mentally ill, don't buy it, cause you prolly wont be able to apply it. But with an IQ over 50 this is no problem at all, and the result is perfect. You get a few "clusters" of small bubbles, but they were gone after 10 hours. Used it for 2 days now, and no bubbles are left and no scratches. Awesome shield if you ask me.

  • i am so pissed off at this company. for the blackberry 85XX series they dont' have this freaking spray and i jsut screwed mine up and it looks horrible and if your hands aren't perfectly clean and you don't take off the "backing" when it DOESNT EVEN TELL YOU TO then your left with a stupid piece of sticky plastic that you crumble up, spit on, and throw out. FUCK

  • can you take it off if you want? or is it permanent

  • I am going to buy an iphone soon, and I was wondering if anybody recommends this product. Please Reply.

  • @h8tenonyou i would if u have lodes and lodes of patients but when i brought one it didn't go very well and i ended up ripping it off and lobbing it out the window

  • @h8tenonyou don´t buy it. It´s crap

  • If an infant would've been present while installing this, I would have punched it.

    ARGH!

  • @Drumsquire maybe someone should punch you in the genitals so you don't have to worry about that problem

  • lol.. i bought only front coverage and they sent me front and back coverage :-) ..WIN!

  • dont buy this product. installing it is a bullshit. i regret getting this. i should've just watch the video and reviews first. :( just a waste of money and time.

  • Its the worst crap ever i got lots of scratches and it get ruiend and fall off after time dont buy it

  • Interesting product. Looking at this for my HTC Desire.

  • Wash those hands.

  • how you make the ™?here i only paste it.

  • is there one for Iphone 3GS ?

  • @ao0o0o0oa

The 3g shield works fine for 3gs since they're the same dimensions.

  • @ao0o0o0oa there is an invisible shield for every smartphone

  • OK, i have an old case that fits exactly to my ipod touch, instead of palming, adn I put the shield on,( im only doing the back) adn close it up in the case? will that help the corners adhere?

  • i think it's made of carbon nanotubes which is even harder than diamond and there for harder to scratch. Things softer than other gets scratched by harder materials. hard materials are hard to form and soft materials like water is easy to form

  • The invisishield was honestly quite dissapointing. I've used similar protective films in the past, they were all easier to apply, have resisted scratches better (scratches to the film) and have had smoother surfaces.

I expect to replace mine for a better looking one once I feel like wasting another $10-20.
