  • @MrWackro Haha Yeah I just stared at this again. It's a little blurry but....If you look really hard you can see the graph paper and TRY to count the outer squares for the box then.. count which lline he is putting the straight lines on. I bet you can get it. I don't have graph paper now. try it and post. I bet you get it. :-D Toodles~

  • very nice.....

  • Nice job! It takes me at least an half an hour to draw celtic knots and they don't look anywhere near as cool.

  • i'm gonna try it now !

  • Você é mesmo um mero artista, o resto como eu, só somos alunos.

  • nice done

  • this is pretty boss

  • why are writing/drawing videos so soothing??

  • It's amazing how you keep track of the ribbon over/under positioning with, what appears to be, such little effort. Thanks for showing us your talent.

  • Awesome I wish I could do that lol

  • this is so beautiful , I'm also a khatat, but I do not know this painting

  • i bet maniac mcgee could untie this knot

  • WOAH!!! :D

  • oO

  • what are your dimensions on the graph paper. How many dots, blocks in between, etc...

  • @CobaltBlueSapphire it's actually spelled ceilidh. The 'dh' is silent :)

  • Six people can't handle the sight of good talent.

  • Wie groß ist das Feld auf dem du zeichnest??

    Wie lang sind die Striche?

Ich finds echt total hübsch und würde es gerne nachmachen!

  • I am totally stunned

  • Wahnsinn! Wie wunderschön!

  • Wow thats cool!!!!!

  • @BarryMcCockiner1000: Not all ornaments with 4n-symmetry and orthogonal lines is a swastika :) But it is possible and looks quite nice to include swastikas in these ornaments.

  • @BarryMcCockiner1000 swastikas are beautifull and i love them very much ... but then again who wouldn't love a symbol that means hapyness, luck and blessing ...

  • @BarryMcCockiner1000 I know! I noticed it too!

  • @BarryMcCockiner1000 swasika means peace :P not nessacerily (sp) nazis

  • @BarryMcCockiner1000

The Celtic Love knot aka Celtic knot really does have a swastika in it. Germany used in during WW2 as a symbol because it was supposed to bring them luck for the victory. If you look through history the connecting lines are amazing as you find all the symbols and how they were used by different world powers to their own means often losing the original purpose of the symbol :)

  • @BarryMcCockiner1000 There is nothing wrong with the "swastika" (as you call it)... It's quite a perfect sign... It originally stood for the sun... (until the nazis destroyed it)... and the world let it be stolen... and alas! it cannot be used again...

  • you are frikkin gifted dude. very precise and detailed for such complicated art form.

  • OMG, that is just amazing!!

  • Ich fuehle mich so dumm!!!!... lol.... na ja war heute auch das erste mal das ich sowas ausprobiert hab....man sagt ja.. uebung macht den meister..

  • geilll... probier ick och gleich aus !!! =)

  • Have you ever seen the Celtic knot Kayleigh.... I have been searching fo it for years..... my mother named m after it before I was born but she never saw it again?????

  • @shysmama: No, I do not know much about the history and different forms of celtic knots. I just doodle them when I'm bored. But I now know one thing for sure: Googling for pictures of 'Kaileigh' does not really result in many pictures of celtic ornaments. But you surely found that out as well :)

  • @Tarlanc01 oooh it returns much nicer things than keltic ornaments. :D

  • @shysmama

    Do you mean this?

    h t t p://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.72514769.jpg

  • @shysmama Just so you know, Kayleigh in Celtic is spelled Ceili. That might help your search. A lot of times what's called ceili dancing is people dancing in the form of a celtic knot.

  • Beautiful!!

  • amazing is such little praise for such spellbinding work thank you for posting

  • thats crazy awesome!

  • koing pow

  • Can you recommend an instructional book to buy on this? Thanks :)

  • thankyou for sharing ur skills

  • mashalla.. good job

    nice work thx

  • Я бы сбился....

    intvsn(at)cityfujisawa-ne-jp

  • Haha, you sped up the first half of the vid, cheater. xD I'm joking. Great vid though, and really nicely made Celtic Knot. It would've been nice if you had added some music, though. ;3

  • u r one talented fine person...

  • really fascinationg o__o

  • thank you Tarlanc01....peace

  • you arent human........

  • just don't use IE...

  • WOW thats awesome!!!!!

  • Amazing! Thanks for sharing! Think about adding some nice Celtic music to the video for extra special experience....

  • Unfortunately I do not possess any rights to celtic music and do not entertain any celtic folk bands in my cellar.

But as soon as one of the above becomes reality i will think about it :)

  • @Tarlanc01 try the youtube feature audio swap. it allows you to put music on your video clips which isn't permitted due some copy rights.

  • @Tarlanc01 : Why don't you search on Audio Swap, its a service that YouTube proposes to add some free music to your video :)

  • i was mesmerised...thanks for posting

  • I had to come and watch the longer version, too. Very very nice! - roc
