Silva is the absolute best striker in the UFC pd for pd fact. However, the rest of his arsenal needs some serious work. There are better BJJ fighters and Im not going to get into his awful wrestling abilities. This is why the discussion for best overall fighter Pd for Pd gets hazy when it comes to silva. Can GSP strike? Damn right he can. Can GSP take him down? Of course, easily. Can Anderson defend the takedown? No. That is why there is a chance GSP can beat him. So can Chael.

I don't remember Kongo calling out Barry because he was losing, then came back to win. And when your opponent taps out it is decisive. He gave up and lost. Couldn't be more decisive.

The fact that people can't recognize Chael's incredible technique after that performance and just focuses on the drugtest and submission let alone the fraud charges are in my eyes the most ignorant persons here, but hey what do I know I'm just a fan?

Silva is the absolute best striker in the UFC pd for pd fact. However, the rest of his arsenal needs some serious work. There are better BJJ fighters and Im not going to get into his awful wrestling abilities. This is why the discussion for best overall fighter Pd for Pd gets hazy when it comes to silva. Can GSP strike? Damn right he can. Can GSP take him down? Of course, easily. Can Anderson defend the takedown? No. That is why there is a chance GSP can beat him. So can Chael.

I know he wasn't planning on beating Anderson in the stand up. I don't remember him on the ground in the Leites, Maia, or Cote fights at all either. It would of been the expected result, so that is not a good comparison. And there are several bouts where fighters shown amazing heart and came back to win fights. I don't remember Kongo calling out Barry because he was losing, then came back to win. And when your opponent taps out it is decisive. He gave up and lost. Couldn't be more decisive.

Anderson beat Cheal when he was on steroids, and Silva was not even trying to execute ANY standup at all. Silva said b4 the fight that he wanted to SUBMIT Chael for talking shit about the Nogueira Ju-Jitsu. Not taking anything away from Silva. that was a spectacular submission, but you need to get your facts straight before making a statement like that.
