  • Sorry 1 how did you make the chandilier and 2 how did u make it light up

  • 1 how did you make the chande

  • WE NEED TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE ONE!

  • i was expecting one of those crappy mini chandeliers but NO this is WAY better except for the music :D

  • wow that chandelier look cool he did a good job

  • Based on the movie chandelier?

  • @wickedistheshiz

How did you make that chandelier, is very awesome. I love it?

  • how did u make it its amazing

  • were did you get your chandiler from

  • Actually i have 2 questions. 1 how did you make the stage and the chandilier?

  • hey this is really good. 1 question, how did you make the stage?

  • I love it XD

  • u do have a lot of time on your hands.. but so does everyone else on youtube.

    Great job! :)

  • im imressed ,,, well done

  • Would you consider selling the chandelier and good job on video

  • nice..haha u did pretty good :]

  • nice!!! I like it :P

But when I have too much time in my hands i make some pretty bad movies on movie maker!! Thats worse. But anyway the one i work on right now like never come out on youtube, but anyway i like your video, thats a nice idea

  • thats great

  • i have to much time too xD look my vids xD

  • How did you make the chandelier, I'd love to try and make a video responose!

  • Nicest Phan Chandelier I have seen yet. Good work!

  • LOL!

"Lot 666 Gentlemen- a chandelier in pieces..."

    ...well, sort of :-)

  • Oh man, I loved the "crash"

  • OMG! I swear I made one of those models when I was 5 years old! It looked just like this one. I had the small flickering lights too! Great attention to detail. Congratulations!

  • awesome! did you make the chandelier yourself?

  • Awesome! 5/5

  • FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!! Absoutly Brilliant

  • Haha, right on.

  • Lol awesome

  • thanks for posting that. that was pretty funny. was that like a barbie chanedelier or something? you do have way too much time on your hands. LOL ;-)

  • Major props! You rock!

  • Hahahaaaa

  • were you buy the chandelier

  • he made it

  • That's awesome! I love the little 'plunk' at the end!

    -Leia

  • lol ;)

  • how did u keep it up in the air and how did u make it fall

  • i like it how its falls then goes tap when it hits the little stage its really cool go phantom of the opera

  • heeheehee! its like really amazing but i love the plunking noise att the end,....WHEW SPLUNK!

  • whoa cool,

  • We have to do a scene of some movie, show, etc, so i am making prologue and Overture with homemade chandelier, LOL.

  • OMG! THAT WAS THE BEST REPLICA OF A CHANDELIER I'VE EVER SEEN! I made on out of a yo-yo ball, string and a picture of a chandelier and it sucks. PLease tell me how you made that? Awsome video too, it was funny how it was like DUN DUN DUN DUUUUN (chandilier falls) DOINK!

  • OMG THAT WAS SOOO COOL!!!!! How did you get it to rise out and up at the same time without it swinging back and forth? Also how did you get it to crash coming down then moving toward the "stage"? lol 1 more question. where did you get the chandelier from? a halloween store?

  • The answer to your first two are that I had the initial string that I used to pull it up, then there's another string that anchored it to my ceiling. That's the best explanation I can really give. As for where I got it, I didn't buy it anywhere. I made it.

  • Damn. That is an amazing Chandelier!

  • Wow! Thank you! I think that was about the climax of my entire day! Not even joking! I've had a pretty shitty week. So thank you for your nice comment!

  • Aww no problem. Hope your weekend is better^_^

  • wow, thats awesome

    heaps of detail, impressive lol

but certainly an excess of free time

  • Well thanks! I assume you play clarinet. I played for the last 4 years but have decided to put away my reeds and pursue vocal music instead. I had actually intended on playing clarinet through high school but I was placed in my school's advanced choir (Park Avenue Singers) and had to pick one. I chose Park Ave.

  • Seen what musical? Phantom? No. I haven't actually. But I really want to.

  • I don't need your approval.

  • cooool

  • it'd be cool if the "stage" went on fire! lol

  • thats really good! How did you create so much detail???

  • creative!!!! that's hot, love the chandelier!

  • ha thats is so cool! such detail!

  • Thanks! It took so long to do! I fingers hurt afterword, but it was totally worth it.

  • That was SOO COOL, How did you make it?!? How did you make the Lights flicker !?!?

  • Eh. I'm just that good! Hahaha. The lights are battery operated jack-o-lantern lights. They do that on their own. It worked pretty well.

  • OMG HOW DID U MAKE IT

  • Good question. I'm not even sure. But I appreciate your enthusiasm.

  • omg, i seriously thought it was a chandelier from one of the broadway shows! lmao good job!

  • THANK YOU!

  • this is really cool!!! but y is it spammed....

  • hi... i posted a video and if anyone has a few minutes... its 'music of the night' accapella from a cave in India. i've studied voice, gone to college for music and headed to LA for acting...but my heart of hearts is to still play the Phantom. if anyone has a kind word to throw my way to continue my dream...or even a dose of reality...its all good and would be very much appreciated.

    peace,

    shaktim The Hamlet of YouTube

  • holy shit. i made one [: but not for youtube. hahaha. for the chandelier i made it with glass, lol. i was hoping for it to break, but it didnt. =.=

  • You should post it! I'd love to see it!

  • Thanxs for replying- Yeah i will have a look around to see if i can find one- btw your version is very good- liked it alot :-D

  • Thank you!

  • I am Making mine at the moment out of wood and painting it black and then i will add the chandelier which i dont know how to make-LOL !! Any ideas people :-)

  • Uhhhh. No. I'd say search eBay for a small one or look for a cheep one at Wal-Mart or Target. Somewhere like that.

  • lol

  • thats rly good )

  • Thank you! I try!

  • That's cool! how'd you make it?

  • *small thud* lol... brilliant xD

  • I disagree with GilesandFriends. I hate the crash in the film. It is way too OTT! I think the one in the show is perfect. But hey, great video! If you think you're sad tho, I once made the whole show using puppets and the original soundtrack. It was actually kinda good, but I lost the disk with it on! I'm planning to do it again tho. Tho I doubt I will ever get my yoghurt pot chandelier quite the same....

  • Puppets? Wow! I'd love to see that. That truely is more pathetic than me.

  • Puppets? I had a phantom puppet but his head fell off ): Me and my friends are gonna try doing a live action part of it.. not sure which, hopefully we can get the rise and crash in ^^

  • Did you use a pulley?

  • Haha! No. I used a hook that I screwed into the wall. My "budget" didn't allow for pulleys.

  • Great Job, Check out ours though, its kinda funny

  • Well.....I used really strong string...it really depends on how big it is and how heavy it is. Idk. Good luck though!

  • I built mine out of legos but i just need to know hoe to hoist it up

  • I thought John Borrowman or Captain Jack Harkness was going to pop out with a mask for a second. hehe 5* and a sub. Blessings +++ The Saint +++

  • That was very very impressive. Well done. The chandelier crash was way better than the one they did on stage, but obviously not as good as the one on film. But still Well Done!

  • Thank you! I take great satisfaction in knowing that somebody likes a part of my video better than one done by a professional company!

  • dude awsome!!!! that's the best fan theatre and chandelier i've ever seen. and i've seen a lot! i would say you have way too much time on your hands, but i'm working on a larger scale set up, lol kudos

  • Thank you! This took me so long. Good luck on yours. Thanks for the comment!

  • well it blookin looke verry impressice

  • What? I don't understand what you're trying to say.

  • it look bloody impressive sorry i type wayyyy to fast :S

  • S'ok. Thank you for your comments!

  • wow i would do this for fun lol but how did oyu mak them it looks sooooooooo good

  • Lots of work and caffiene and insomnia that was just a side effect of the caffiene.

  • This is so sad. Get a life.

  • I have a life. This was just for fun. Who are you to criticize me? Other than a youtube person. I guess you have every right to criticize me. But still. Why don't YOU get a life?

  • you get one other than critizing pepole!

  • If only the Broadway show let the chandelier drop as fast as this one....great vid! I liked the detail!

  • @greenrazr Or if every version had the Australian chandelier crash. Apparentely, it ACTUALLY drops and then comes to a sudden stop only a few inches above the audience!

  • very creative! thx:-D

  • awesome it looks soo real!!!!!

  • Thank you! That's what I was going for.

  • No. Sadly, I do not. I was just looking for that on youtube the other day. But no. I didn't find anything.

  • very funny - i NEARLY got sucked in! great effort though! cheers!

  • Merci!

  • whered u get the chandiler

  • I actually made the chandelier. It wasn't easy. The song after the overture is All I Ask of You: Reprise. Thanks for the many, many comments!

  • what is the song on after the overture

  • *Language, typo. I apologize.

  • Sweetie, I know your intentions are good, and your heart is in the right place, but it's called spelling and grammar. Please don't abuse the english launguage.

  • oo lol sorry im like falling asleep

  • so amazing! keep tryin

  • Sir, I am sorry that you feel that way. I happen to be perfectly straight, probably moreso than you and I happen to watch musicals and listen to the music.

Coincidentially, if you hate musicals so much, why are you even watching this video? I suggest you take your narrow-mindedness and leave.

    GoodDay.

  • I am a girl and I watch and listen to musicals..does that make me a lesbian? no. so you should go mind your own buisness please.

  • That was gay. All of you people who watch musicals and listen to this music are fags and should die.

  • Bite me. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that other people don't either. If you don't like it, then don't watch it. I can't stand the way you biggots treat people who are different.

  • Because you're gay? No one likes gays except gays. So...we should kill them all.

  • All my friends are straight. My parents are straight and they still love me. Look at society. We gays are thriving right now. We're here, We're queer, and you can get the fuck over it. Fred Phelps is gay too. You know that, right?

  • No he's not and that is blasphemy you speak against your prophet. How dare you, you destroyer of this nation, you fag. That's funny that you're actually gay because I didn't even know it but this music is gay so I can safely assume everyone that listens to this and goes to musicals are.

  • Assuming makes an ass out of you and me. You're "prophet?" That's bullshit. You people are just blaming god for your hate. NO! If you are gonna hate something for no reason, don't pull god into it. Have some fuckin courage to say that you hate us. Not god, you. You obviously don't know shit about god and who he loves.

  • scuz u this is for entettainment not criticesem. i know someown in your family had seen one of these things so your wrong normal pepole. GREAT music

  • thankx hitler will keep that in mind

  • excuse me!?

  • how bought all of the pepole who like country next or rap. its not ur kinda music so ignore dont have a musical holoacaucst\

  • good job!

  • is that you, singing? It's pretty funny and cool! Good job.

  • No. That's not me singing. That's funny that you would say that because when I was filming this, I had an uncontrollable urge to whistle or hum the Overture. I also wanted to sing, but I'm really self conscious. Thanks for the comment!

  • Well, it was in no way, shape, or form an easy taks. The chandelier is made of old door beads, Mardi Gras beads, the top of an ugly bird cage, a role of masking tape, a dozen battery operated jack-o-lantern lights, and about 2 packages worth of hot glue sticks. TOO MUCH HOT GLUE!!!

  • Great job!Thank you for posting!

  • Thank you! I worked on this for about a month and a half. Long time. Lots of hot glue. I can't tell you how many times I burnt my fingers.

  • Yes, that was fantabulous, if you were confused by my earlier comment(:

  • :O

    *bows down in awe*

  • Thank you?

  • Haha, that was amaaziing!!! I've been waiting to see that for x number of months!!!!! *glomp'd*

  • Thank you! I've been working on it for months.
