What I love about this vid is how she accepts that there are some fashions she can't pull off, like the gothic lolita. Here is an attractive girl who LIVED in japan, has no delusions about wearing some of the more outrageous fashions back here in the states, and yet there are some not so attractive girls I know who are absolute weaboos while being absolutely ignorant about actual japanese culture.

What about the mini hat trend? I bought lots of accessories when I lived in Japan. But the mini hats is where I went crazy!! lol I wear them at work some people stare, others tell me how cool it is and that I pull it off well while the rest ask me how I get the hat to stay on my head. I have to chuckle and tell them its a hair clip. Now the movers smashed my fedoras gotta buy some new ones.

I think one reason why girls wear the really short skirts is that it's compulsory to do so in school and they also don't have the right to wear tights in the winter, so their legs get acclimatized to being bare even in the snow. They then like to dress that way in their leisure time too, because if they covered their legs for a few days it would be agony to bare them again when they go back to school
