The one thing husky I never get when you play zerg is if it is strategy or you just forget to. You stick to a traditional 2 base rather than expand fast and maintain map control.

Husky, when confronted with thors this is what you do:

1. Panic

2. Mass Roaches

3. Research Burrow and Tunneling Claws. If you get those roaches to move burrow'd they are 3x deadlier.

Zerg definitely needs some work. Hydralisks are too slow, they don't have Dark Swarm, and they are generally slightly less refined in army composition compared to the Terran and Protoss. For example, the ultralisks are nerfed.

@xad166 Many people just believe its much to far in the tech tree. Remember you have to get the hive (tier 3 base) and then spend your things on the upgrade aswell, in the very late game people just believe that adrenal glands becomes a void upgrade since zerglings get roasted most of the late game.

This game is BRUTAL Husky. Tons of minerals the whole time, missing tons of larva injections, no creep highway. You shoulda expanded ton vs a mec Terran, and use your overlords to check all base sites.

That "attack and then nydus" trick also works with terran nuking. It won't warn them that a nuke has been launched if it just told them they were under attack.

Hydras are probably the worst unit to make vs mech. Hellions > Hydras, Tanks > Hydras, Thors > Hydras, and Marines are pretty good vs Hydras. There is a sweet spot where mass mutas will over whelm Thors and marines. You can use this to make him play very defensively. You really need to do tech switches, or go roach more. Tunneling claws is very good.
