  • During the whole video...

    O_O HUH?

  • I cannot imagine how frustrated the director of this movie was.

  • Pinhead: Hugs.

    Lemarchant: No.

    Pinhead: HUGS!

    Lemarchant: AHHHHHH

  • This is my favorite Hellraiser! Thank you for posting these edited clips from the movie. A lot of these clips are in the original trailer for the movie and I always wondered why at least did they not surface on dvd extra footage.... This is absolutely priceless for me!!! ^5

  • last decent, Hellraiser movie.: Bloodline

  • @Peter1999 Respectfully disagree. ;) that said, had it been released as intended it would have been far superior to the mess we ended up with.

  • whats the story of hell raiser?

  • Thanks for the upload, who was this work print meant for? Producers? A test audience?

  • @VintageWhiteTerror

The producers. It was one of four reported cuts that yagher did to try and appease the producers before he walked off the project.

  • @bameballs Thanks for the info, good channel, subbed.

  • Doug has the greatest evil laugh! I love that head turn he does at 3:47.

  • They should have left at least some of this scene in the film. Yes, they could cut a LOT of his typing/pinhead walking closer bit, but in the original film you don't really get that Angelique is opposing Pinhead, and I always felt that watching the film that this portion of the movie felt oddly disjointed. Now I know why.

  • At 1:55 he is eaither checking his credit score or typing a you tube comment while Pinhead comes in.

  • I hope Pinhead gets those bastards at the studios.

  • I think Doug Bradley's laugh sounds even more evil without the voice distortion, lol.

  • Why do studios insist on butchering films? If you have a writer, director and leading actor in agreement on an aspect of the film, it should usually follow that collectively they are more likely to be right than people who seem to just think in terms of money.

  • i love that movie !!

  • This scene makes more sense then the one in the original movie. Now I understand why Angelique wanted Jack to type in the commands faster... In order for Pinhead to be destroyed I guess... because it didn't make much sense in the actual movie.

  • This film was doomed to be horrendous even before the studio ordered the reshoots, but these alternative scenes show that there was a point at which the movie was somewhat watchable.

  • Why was it doomed? I've read the original script (download it at Hellbound Web) and it's really good.

  • I've read that script. It was immensely better than the finished film, but it still had the same problems with its basic conceit, and Pinhead was still acting with motivations that did not sit well with his characterization in the first two films.

  • This movie was half of a dissapointment, but nothing could prepair me for the next 4 sequels. Those murdered me more painfully than Pinhead could ever do!

  • I kinda of like Pinhead's voice when it's like this one... That was cool how he went up the ceiling.

  • Comment removed

  • I knew Pinhead and Angelique didn't like each other in the regular film, but this scene makes a whole lot more sense to why Pinhead punished her by making her a Cenobite at the near end of the movie. I would've done the same.

  • What do you mean? Explain?

  • In this cut of the scene, it's more clear that Angelique was trying to kill Pinhead, since we see Pinhead trying to avoid the lights by attaching himself to the ceiling, and then summoning chains to drag Angelique into them.

  • Thanks for the explanation.

  • @vampman87 O.o

really? cus....i was about 11 when i saw this and understood that she wanted to door to be closed to kill pinhead. Clearly she was disappointed in what hell had become. Not even 12 and i understood that....

  • @johnkerry7 Except that doens't make sense. Closing a door wouldn't kill Pinhead and nothing in the actual film says she wants to kill him. The only thing she *does* say suggesting a plot is "open the gateway for me", a clear dubbing to change the story.

  • Another Alan smithee production. worst of the lot

  • lol y dos it say at 2:40 pinhad flis up a chain like wtf

  • Because that's what he does, to attach himself to the ceiling and escape being killed by the Elysian Configuration prototype. He then uses the chains to drag Angelique into it, to kill her in revenge.

  • Oddly enough this version misses music, misses most of the effects, misses good editing, has some horrible voiceovers and transitions... yet i like it more then the released movie, it makes so much more sence!

  • *nods* When a studio takes a movie away and re-does it, they don't have much concern for the integrity of the plot, just what sells. Dimension cut out important plot elements in favor of showing more Pinhead.

  • this scene would've been better imo, Pinhead's entrance would've created more tension

  • kind of dramatic when the womans going like nooooooooo!!!! noooooooo!!!!!!! noooooo!!!! lol

  • this was my least favorite Hellraiser movie, i liked how they tell you about the History of the puzzle box, but thats just about it.

  • i bet the kid at 3:05 is like wtf would you shut the fuck up already!!!

  • why the quality so bad can you bring a god quality???

  • Because a) it's a second generation copy of a unfinished workprint and b) it's on youtube.

  • Also: I love the *typing* *Pinhead getting closer* *OMG TYPING FASTER* *OMG PINHEAD GETTING CLOSER* *ZOMG TYPING LOAD STATUS BAR LOAD!!* scene. :D Like his typing faster was going to make that status bar go any faster. XD

  • lol! true that :D

  • I love the look on his face when the light grazes his arm. "Hey...my top! SONOFABITCH! You're gonna pay for that!" XD

  • Thanks.

  • Who is Pinhead?

    Please answer.

I wanna know more about this movie. :(

  • Pinhead is a cenobite, a race of demon sadomasochists from another dimension, which is sometimes called Hell. He and the other cenobites are summoned by the solving of a musical puzzle box. Anyone who solves it are "rewarded" by being tortured by the cenobites for all eternity in hell.

  • Btw, a sadomasochist is someone who enjoys pain and enjoys inflicting it, which is why I referred to the torture as a reward. In the cenobites' eyes, it is a reward.

  • no, anyone who solves it gets hells power just like the Dr. in Hellraiser 2 did. Pinhead used to be human

  • Not everyone who opens the box becomes a cenobite.

  • only if you open it coerctly, if you dont your fucked

  • There is only one way to open itr. Opening the box is just an invitation to the Cenobites to have them experiment on you in pleasure and pain. Only rare, special cases actually become Cenobites. - scarecrow

  • @LeadCeno No. It is hit-and-miss with that.

  • I must say I see why the director was unhappy. I prefer this scene over the one they used...it just makes more sense. Plus, Angelqiue's accent is better in my opinion.

  • Nothing to do with anyones vision or time. It's entirly down to the studio interfering, forcing changes that led to the director quitting the film, unhappy with these forced changes.

  • yeah they do, but you should see the movie though, its pretty good

  • I saw the movie too. Great movie. But one thing...i found the explanation for the origins of Pinhead (blackmagic) extremely unbelieveable...otherwise a good movie but that spoiled it for me. I couldn't buy the explanation for the origins of Pinhead.

  • wasnt he just created when he opened the box?

  • NO...that's the way he is released but someone created the box with Pinhead & all this stuff that comes out! That's the explanation i can't seem to buy. Might as well just gave no explanation for evil coming into being.

  • Hell already existed before the box, LeMarchand just created the gateway to hell when he made it.

  • awsome they should have put this in the movie

  • even though I haven't seen the full movie, I agree with you there...they always cut the cool scenes out of films, and I don't understand why...

  • Well keep in mind that editers have to work in a time frame. So this piece my had been too long or it didn't work right for the Director but yeah this would have been cool to have in the movie. I see this editing stuff alot at the SCAD Film Department.
