a cop asked him to move and he said "hold on a sec?" He deservd what he got, you have to obey the police or we end up in lawless society. Next time an officer asked him to do something, he'll do it!!!!

You are missing the point. This isn't about the cops, it's about the fact that members of a political party don't want to be exposed and how they are violating the rights of the reporter by using the police to stop him. Reporters have every right to investigate what politicians are doing in a public place or at least they used to.
