  • The "Best Tenor Sax Player"......EVER!

  • 1.37, the lick

  • He reuses ideas in his solos from song to song. I heard a lot of snippets from the recording of giant steps in this song.

  • @Jenesepasvous lick a dick faggatron! great observation faggatron!

  • @lalocejas83 thats not anything bad. everyone does that. its a stupid observation though. who cares though?

  • If i didn't have to worry about other classes and just focus on jazz, I could hope to learn half the tunes he knew. Coltrane is awesome, right up there with Rollins, Gordon, and Stan Getz. (In no particular order)

  • Perfect music and video!!!

  • one of the best still not dexter gordon

  • @ryanthelionthebeast as in gordon is better than coltrane?

  • @ryanthelionthebeast lik a dick faggatron

  • Top Line..

  • gret video! i want to go back there, real!!

  • look at them fingers!

  • Trane.........so pretty.

  • This is one of my favorite jazz videos on YouTube. Coltrane hits just the right notes in just the right way, even when he is going off on super fast tangents (which are usually difficult to follow when other performers do them). He's the best jazz performer of all time. Every note is full of emotion, passion, and artistic expression.

No!!!. First, the pianist is Wynton Kelly, and second, the proper name of the other pianist you mention is McCoy Tyner...
