Complete and successful giga slave is cast in Slayers Revolution. Too bad that the last season is not as great as NEXT or Try.

@ThinBear4 neither TRY or any of the anime after it is cannon, and the ending of NEXT isnt cannon either, phibs was supposed to have handed the sword of light over to dark star and that was the last of that,

afterwords, lina and gourry find the blast sword which absorbs any magic spell thrown at it and uses that energy to get sharper (the do end up spamming dragon slaves at it in order to beat the shard of shabs in Luke)

Guess that kinda makes sense, since the ragna blade is a fusion of white and black magic. Still cool though ^_^

Actually it's similarity to ragna blade doesn't have anything to do with fusion of swords white magic and giga slave energy, because this spell actually calls upon chaos magic which is already fusion of white magic and black magic itself. Also the sword doesn't represent white magic I think.

But yeah, in this scene giga slave looks almost exactly like ragna blade because it's actually very same kind of energy. It's almost the same spell, but with different power.

Beyonder isn't the only one who can think multiverses out of and into existance instantly, L-Sama can too. But unlike Beyonder, L-Sama is actually all power itself instead of just a being with power.

True, but the Lord of Nightmares doesn't not appear to have much control over her generation of new universes, as she (or it) constantly produces without even consciously doing it. However, the Pre-Retcon does have great control over his ability to generate new universes. Also, when you said L-Sama was a being of pure power, so is the Pre-retcon Beyonder as he was everything and nothing that existed outside the Marvel Multiverse beyond the control of any Supreme Creator Beings.

However, also, L-Sama has an apathetic, apparently malevolent nature; due to this, one can assume that because of her imperfection for being malevolent(like creating the Mazoku for no other apparent reason other than to cease her boredom and cause misery, killing, and chaos), a higher being must exist above her in that Multiverse, who is omni-benovolent, perfect, infallible, and supervises her use of power, even though this entity is not mentioned or alluded to.

L-Sama is, if you pay attention, not truly malevolent, but nor is she good. She is in fact neither, which is why she made both beings of good and evil, enough so that their fight would stay deadlocked.

Nither good or evil, and impossible to predict due to being the very personification of chaos. In fact, she IS chaos, and as much a primal force of all the multiverse and beyond as a living thinking thing. Such a vast entity would be beyond even the Beyonder's power to defeat so easily.

what's with the conversation about the Beyonder from Marvel comics? You can't compare the personification/creator of a multi-verse with a reality twister omni-being. Its like comparing the One above all with the Beyonder, or Oblivion or Eternity and Infinity. the beyonder is lower than even Galactus on the Marvel scale, he creates pocket worlds not whole universes.

Only being in Marvel comparible to LON would be the One above All.

I think in Try it was said best, its all a game, sometimes the Mazoku win, sometimes the gods win. an Endless cycle. Even in the Manga it seems that LON has a split personality, sometimes acting out of her own control. but other times implying her actions and creations are completly under her control. Basically the Mazoku believe the universe was made against her will, while the gods believe she did it on purpose. and she lets them believe what ever they want.

The way I have always understood it is that the Demons dont necessarily worship LON, nor do the Gods or their servants, the Translation in next was not clear on that, but LON is truly neutral and acts according to how the person who called forth her power wished her to act, Phibrizzo wanted Lina to cast Giga Slave because he knew that if she miscast it and it went berserk (like it did) it would destroy the world. He didn't understand, however that the Giga Slave was in fact LON herself

see this is the one thing that slayers fans seem to overly estimate, without question L-Sama is Chaos, but that is ONLY one element or aspect or even as you put it "Primal Force" in the universe, a universe that is infinite in and of itself, any equal or other relevent force in the multiverse would be of equal or greater power depending primarily on whether or not the hierarchy of such forces. Chaos & Order, Good & Evil, Death & Life, and so on. One need only define the hierachy.
