Time Warner Cable TV Commercial - Waffles the dog is lost!

I named my New Australian Shepherd Puppy Waffles because of this commercial. My other Dog Shiloh (Also an Australian Shepherd) comes Unglued when this comes on. I guess you could say Shiloh named Little Waffles.

Strange - every time the angelic little girl hugs Waffles in joyous reunion, I...get something in my eye. Same thing happens, dag nab it, whenever I take a sip of coffee. At least in the latter case, I have the excuse of having left my spoon in the cup...

How ironic that such a tender, sweet commercial is done by such a horrible, heartless, inconsiderate corporation like Time Warner. They pretty much monopolize the cable industry and couldn't care less about their customers. I thank God that Direct TV and Dish Network are finally giving this miserable company some solid competition!

After watching this commercial a few times, I've learned to appreciate just how well crafted it is. It strongly establishes it's small town America feel with things like the country music in the background, the old wagon by the road, the General Store, and the old farm in the background when she is reunited with Waffles. Pink is the perfect color for the lost dog flyers, they stand out visually and are a logical choice for a little girl. Great director and concept for a commercial.

She is an adorable little girl. You are truly blessed. Her acting ability made me very sad she lost her dog. I totally believed her when she thanked the old man for keeping an eye out for Waffles, and when she was reunited with her dog. The fact that she was able to do all this in 30 seconds is pretty amazing.
