Go easy on that starter motor. Don't try to start it before the engine stops. Doesn't sound like you have much experience with hemi's. They generally do not like alot of lift. Also you have some sort of issue withthe starter motor you need to check.

I think Tom Nelson know he's hemi's. And just to clarify. THE STARTERS ARE NOT ON THE MOTOR!!! The dyno has dual heavy duty starters. And to say that a hemi does not like lift?!

We just dynoed my 572,its a single carb,world block and mopar heads,10.3-1. It dynoed at 740hp and 730flbs torque.
